This was an utterly unacceptable experience. I called at 9:15, but no one answered the phone. The reason I called ahead of time was because I'm in a wheelchair, and it takes me time and extra effort to get anywhere I need to go. After waiting another hour, I called back and asked if they accepted walk-ins, and they said yes. When I arrived in person, no one greeted or acknowledged me. After about 10 minutes, and only once the stylists finished with their clients, they finally asked if I had a reservation. When I said no, they told me they were too busy and didn't accept walk-ins after all. This kind of miscommunication and disregard for customers' time and accessibility needs is completely unprofessional. I will not be returning. read more

came in for for trim+wash + blowdry, firstly they didnt mention price before service, everyother time i have come they did and it was around 60-70$ , this time it was 98.00$. not sure where they pulled that from. but most importantly the lady cut way more than i asked for, i asked for a TRIM of my dead ends , i said 2 inch max. she did NOT hold up a strand to make sure before making first cut and didnt ask if i was liking it. she cut about 4 inches, very upset and will not be coming back. not even gonna name the stylist! read more

I agree with Debbie, ignore every single review on here. My father loves getting his hair cut here and I often come in for a wash and blow out. Everyone has always been kind and friendly and has done an awesome job on either my father's haircut or my blowout. We'll be back soon, thanks ladies!! read more

The hair cutter was very nasty and didn't listen to the way I wanted my hair cut . And she made me and my girlfriend very upset .

I am so glad I ignored all the bad reviews. Today 9/27/2023 at 2pm, I walked in without an appointment. I was greeted immediately by Lisette. I asked her if she had time for a walk in and she said yes, please have a seat and it will be a few minutes. She finished with another client and cleaned the floor where she was just working. This took 4 minutes at most. Lisette was very personable and I told her I wanted 2 inches cut off my very long hair and to add a little layer to lighten it up. As she cut, she engaged me in some conversation always asking me about the length and showing me what she was doing. The shop was modern, clean snd bright. I paid $26 plus a tip. My union is on strike right now and I was desperately in need of a haircut and can't afford salon prices right now. If you want a wash or to be blow dry, it does cost extra, but where are you going to get a great haircut for $26!!! I feel so much better today and I would go back there next time. No one was rude to me or ignored me or made me feel.less than because I didn't have an appointment as so many others wrote, but those reviews were kind of old. Thank you Lisette for a great haircut! read more

I love my haircut!!! I had Amanda, she listened to what I wanted and made recommendations for my bangs and layers that helped turn my basic haircut into a whole beautiful new style. Everyone was so pleasant, I highly recommend Amanda! read more

I am a very mad custumer, I did call for an appointment with Patricia and they gave it to me at Monday 3 pm, when I got there at 2:30 pm and I did call Patricia I was told that she start at 4 pm and they said they try to call me but the could not talk to me to tell me about the change of time, to bad. read more

NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRY TO GO HERE. I walk in and the girls can't be bothered at first to even acknowledge me. When one speaks she asks if I've called ahead which I haven't and says it will be two hours and just goes back to what she was doing. So rude! You don't have the right to act like you don't have time for people when you work in a service industry and a place at caters to walk ins. Maybe it was because I just wanted a cut and it wasn't worth her time, who knows. The only reason I didn't call ahead was because the last time I did they told me walk ins were taken first because they were there and it didn't matter that I had an appointment. I'm sorry but you don't have the right to make up the rules as you go just because you don't what, like the way I look and judged me when I walked in the door. Your loss! I know they all work for the tips and maybe if she would have given me the time of day she would have learned I normally tip at places like that twice the price of the cut. I've worked a decade of retail and NEVER would I dismiss people like this. Don't waste your time people! There's a nice new competitor on 1&9 next to Qdoba, Starbucks, and the mattress place that I would bet would love to take you instead and treat you properly. read more

Been to this SuperCuts a few times. It's a SuperCuts - no one expects to walk out with a $100 quality hair cut, perfect service, and spa-like treatments for their $15 price tag. If you keep this attitude in mind, this is a really good SuperCuts. Been here for 2 ladies cuts (below the shoulder), multiple men's cuts and an eyebrow waxing. Price 5/5: you can't beat SuperCuts cost. For a cut and eyebrow wax plus $7 tip I paid $30. My last haircut alone in the city was $90. Waxes at the mall are the same cost now, so it's the best option price-wise. Service 5/5: I had Amy today who was really great. Very professional and greeted customers when they walked in immediately (which hasn't happened at past SuperCuts). I just wanted a trim of 2" since I had dead ends - that's exactly what she did. No higher, and made sure I liked the length before cutting. She also did a nice job with my eyebrow waxing, again making sure I just wanted them cleaned up and not shaped differently. Quality 4/5: I never come to SuperCuts expecting a huge, professional restyling. But for a quick cut, in and out under 30 min, cheap price tag... really can't beat it! read more

January 25, 2020 Supercuts 765 Saint George Ave Woodbridge, NJ. 07095 Today was my Mothers 83rd Birthday, In a heavy rain storm, I asked Bobbi the hair stylist can i bring my Mother in for a haircut she said yes. We sit there for 20 minutes, I ask her how long, she replies a couple of minutes. A gentlemen walks in, Bobbi calls him to the chair. I ask her what about my Mother, She Replies he had a appointment. I asked her why she didn't communicate with us, while we sat here for 20 minutes. There was another hairstylist sitting there doing nothing, asked Patricia if she could do my mothers hair, she replied NO I'm waiting for my appointment and she smiled at the Bobbi. I guess she wasn't my first choice. My Mother with early stages of Dementia, Started crying in the car for a hour and keep asking me why the girl didn't want to cut my hair. I hope these Hairstylist from Supercuts in Woodbridge don't treat other senior Mothers like this. read more

I went to this location a few times before, and it was very professional, but the last 2 times I was there I was very disappointed. I was getting a deal for the shampoo/conditioner combo and was charged the full price instead of the discounted price, the person next to me was also getting charged more than they should have. when I went there last week, I wanted to get my hair colored. they said that they did not have any color... what kind of hair salon doesn't have hair color? plus, looking around, the floors were not too clean. and this was with the salon only being open around an hour. I don't think that I will be going back read more

I know most women are squeamish about going into supercuts but honestly, I really like this one. It's a great place for an affordable haircut and they are willing to listen to what you want, even better if you have a picture. The staff is friendly, the place looks clean and the wait generally isn't too bad. Overall, I'd recommend this place and I would suggest going on the supercuts website and signing up for deals and coupons. read more

I have chosen to never go here again. I wanted my hair curled. They said they would do it for an extra charge which I agreed too. The curling iron kept shutting off. But she got the job done. So the last time I needed my hair styled I called to make the appointment and offered to bring my own professional curling iron. I work very close and needed my hair done for last minute dinner plans. I was told the manager would call and let me know if it was ok to bring my iron n have my hair curled. No one returned my call. I feel it's bad customer service and if I have to spend more I will but elsewhere. No matter how convient they are to my work I will not return. read more

I was more than happy with my experience here. Jen took care of me and did more than what her job required her to do! She was genuinely interested in conversation, made me feel comfortable in the environment. She cut my hair little by little to make sure that my initial decision of going short is the right decision for me. Overall I did come back after an hour or two to cut it shorter than when I left and she was more than happy to obliged! Before leaving the first time she assured me that I had seven days to fix my hair if I wasn't satisfied and wanted to go shorter!! She even seemed more enthusiastic to cut my hair than I was! I definitely will return and I recommend this to anyone who is iffy about getting their haircut by anyone! Show the store some love! read more

This place was awesome! I came here for a hair cut with my best friend, and we both absolutely loved this place! The people who helped us were amazing. Jen and Cliff were awesome, I'm so happy they were there to take care of us. Cliff cut my hair and he did a great job! I love the side bangs and layers he gave me. Furthermore, the service was very pleasant. He's such a sweet guy and he is very honest. Once you sit in that chair, he will make sure you're pleased with your hair! You're the boss. However, if you ask for his honest opinion, he will give you just that: Honesty. It's a great quality to have, especially in the beauty industry where it is always important to have a second set of eyes there to help us out. I will definitely return! My haircut was only 15 bucks... yay! read more

I try to use Supercuts because of my busy schedule, convenience factor. I like the ability to check in and then come back. I check in before hand and come back only to wait and wait. Waiting for people who haven't even checked in. They point to them and call them up and then check them in. It's not worth waiting all that time. The stylists are sub par, luckily I don't have much hair, if I cared about my hair style I wouldn't be going here. read more

The lady took my name for the waiting list. Other individuals arrived after me and they were helped before me. I was the last person sitting when one of the employees noticed. She asked for my name, turns out, the other lady never put my name down. It was just very disorganized, customer service needs to improve. Never going back. read more

I've been going to this Supercuts off and on for about 4 years. Recently, I had my haircut by Kayla - and I promise you - I am never going anywhere else. Kayla patiently listened as I described the haircut I had in mind. Although my hair doesn't lend itself to the style I wanted, she took her time and made it work. You can tell that Kayla loves what she does, and it really comes through in her dedication, attention to detail, and client service skills. I've been back 3 times since, and have gotten a great haircut each time, resulting in some wonderful compliments. Definitely request Kayla when you go! :) read more

New to the area and figured I'd give this location a shot. Before I moved Supercuts was actually my go to. It's affordable and for a quick wash and trim I can't really complain too much. The whole experience was rushed and while I requested my hair washed it was more of a rinse. Little soap, little scrub, little water. Hardly a proper wash. The cut was impersonal and nothing like I'm used to. It's not a bad job and for less than $20 really not something to cry about. The stylist also mentioned they were understaffed that busy Saturday morning. No matter the reason I would think twice before going back for anything more than a trim. read more

Was never told that the HAIRCUTTER my mom was waiting for was going to be busy for 40 minutes. No managerial skills, and an overall unfriendly staff. 3rd rate cutters need to try harder. Will not be coming back. read more

Checked in at 10am, was told to be there at 1. Got there and 2 people were ahead of me. Didn't have a problem with that, waited about 45 minutes then another stylist showed up. I thought I'd be next. A woman walks through the door and the stylist takes her. I'll never go back. read more

if I could I'd give no stars.... the girl theresa cut my hair, I asked for a simple trim with layers.. she cut off 2 inches which was fine until I realized she didn't blend them at all... so INSTEAD she cuts more hair off.... then has to ask someone else to cut it because she didnt know how to blend my hair (its naturally straight) .... the other stylist did a good job with what she was left with but I ended up leaving from mid length hair to a few inches below shoulder length. I've been trying to grow my hair out forever and now im absolutely devastated with how much that has been taken off. Never going back again. read more

Came in with my daugher. Wendy did her hair. After we left i found out that she was very rude and short to her from the moment she sat in her seat. My daughter explained what she wanted done with her hair, and wendy said she didnt recommend it, and gave her other ideas. Finally, she agreed to do what my daughter wanted. The next day we found out after my daughter had washed and blow dryed her hair that wendy butchered it and made some very short cuts on the middle back side above her neck and also behind her ears which she can no longer get into a a ponytail. My daughters hair is below her shoulders, so tell me how is this acceptable? We have realized after moving to a new town that it is best to not go to a cheap salon like this. Just find a well reputated one. read more

Worst haircut ever. Wendy cut my hair completely uneven, and outright shaved off random spots by the temples. This won't be fixable until it grows back. read more

Worst haircut ever! I have fine hair and long layers. I just went in for a trim to take off an inch or so of dead ends. They butchered my layers and gave me a mullet!!! I could not wait to write bad review about this place. First of all, this place is pricey which makes you think that they would do decent hair cut. But not all pricey things are not good. This is what this place teaches us. The place was big and there was only one lady working. So, if there are more than one customers, your wait time would multiply. Luckily for me, there was only one customer. So, my turn came quickly. She asked me what we are doing today. I said haircut. Then I said I do not want too short. May be #3 would be good. She did not say anything. Then it occurred to me to ask if #3 is medium. She said, "No, it is short" So I said, let's do #4 then. She completed my haircut in 5 minutes then without asking me anything whether I am ok with it or not. She did not even do my side cut. This place is the worst I have gone for the haircut so far. Do yourself a favor. Save your money and hair and time. Do not go here. read more
