Your job is to do what is asked of you by the customer not what you want to do. With that being said, the woman who did my hair fried it, I have fine hair, you don't get to rip it out, she literally pulled the comb though the knots she created, anyone with common sense knows you don't do that, even after conditioning my hair it felt dry and fried, she was extremely rough and couldn't tell that I was getting madder each pull of my head. If this is how paying customers are treated you do not belong in business, and the hairdresser should be fried or retrained, but in my opinion she doesn't belong as a hairdresser. I will never ever go back, she didn't even cut or style it as requested. Very poor service and quality, I guess you get what you pay for.

I first reached out via their Yelp page to inquire about an appointment. They were super responsive even during the days they were closed. You do have to place a credit card on file when you make your appointment. They also contacted me a few hours prior to let me know the hairstylist was available if I'd like to come in sooner which I greatly appreciated. Upon walking in, I was greeted immediately and after completing the new client forms, I was offered a refreshment. I went with red wine and was so surprised at this kindness. My hairstylist was Lindsay and she was AWESOME. She asked me questions and double checked with me on everything she was doing. I ended up going for a drastic cut and she made me feel very reassured about my choice. You get a discount too for it being your first time! Already looking forward to going back for my next trim.

I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she got straight to work. I regret not telling her to keep my hair long, and I wish she asked me questions to confirm my desired cut. She did not talk to me, which is fine. It was a 20 minute cut combined with my long (hip length) hair, and her pausing to tend to another customer's dye job. When she finished, she styled it with a brush and hair dryer. It wasn't good styling, but I didn't mind too much. The hair cut itself was not great. It looked nothing like the picture, and she struggled with thicker Asian hair apparently. There is a chunk of bluntly cut hair at the back of my hair that I guess she gave up on before focusing on the top layers. I went from having long hair to still somewhat hair (chest length) that's an awkward length. I will not be returning.
