After 5 years of going to Supercuts in Willimantic to get my hair cut my husband have decided to move on. Morgan and her snotty, rude attitude is ridiculous. She's rude to other staff and is condescending when talked to. My last and final experience with her was to talk to her about a problem I had with the online booking system. Went to get my bangs trimmed; and this is what I got. A completely unprofessional badly done blunt cut. When I went to another salon for someone to try to fix it, the hairstylist was extremely appalled, and had thought I originally had done it myself. The stylist even called over her coworker to show her how bad it was. When I went to go ask for a refund they didn't give me my full amount back. Not only that, the manager defended her employee. She said everyone has a different technique when I told her what the other hairstylist explain on what she had done wrong. I guess this is a technique then. What a joke, don't go. read more

Normally I have no problem with this location with getting eyebrows or a quick trim for my kids. However, yesterday my Mother took my soon to be sophomore for a cut and she asked to take about 3 inches off. My daughter had naturally curly hair well past the middle of her back. The woman who cut her hair ended up cutting it almost to her chin with horrendous layers that made no sense. The hair cut was not blended and she ended up looking like she had dog ears with a rat tail in the back! Worst hair cut I had ever seen come out of that place! I was going to go back and demand the cut to be fixed however I did not want to risk her getting a worse cut much shorter then they had already done. We brought her somewhere else to get the cut evened out and look half way decent. Starting off the new school year missing over 9 inches of hair was not in her mind. She is mortified! Again, we've never had this bad luck prior as the usual stylists do a good job but whomever the new girl was really screwed up her hair! read more

Enjoyed my service despite having the hair dryer catch on fire near my head because of an electrical issue, until my hair stylist told me she would have to up charge me a little bit if I wanted her to straighten my whole head. I thought this was odd because every time I get my hair blown out it is included in the cost. I figured it would be a few dollars more so I said sure, once I got to the register she charged me for a blow out TWICE and said, "that's how we charge if we straighten your whole head." A "little" is not double to cost. I was so upset and had to redo my hair when I got home. Disappointed, never going back and because I had to do it again, a waste of money! read more

Good if you get anyone but Morgan. She will cut your hair so short you can't do anything with it for months!

Our family has had a relationship with this salon for at least five years. As a mother of 3 young children, ages 2, 4 and 6 it's tough to get "mom time" - I had a 6:00 appointment tonight and showed up at 6:03. Morgan refused to keep my appointment for much needed color. I sat in her chair in tears getting a basic haircut (no color as she pledged the company offered zero minutes of leeway). I then went to Sally's next door to purchase color and did it myself at home. My family will be going elsewhere in the future... we are looking for a salon that understands that 3 minutes is not too much time to offer a guest or as supercuts semantics would call me - a customer -who is easily replaceable. WORST hair cutters ever. So bad I can not even call them hairdressers never mind stylist. My family has tried them a few times as they a new business, no wait, and close by. But after the worse disaster I have ever experience today Never again. The one who cut my hair today cut off 4-5 inches from my hair when specifically told to keep it long in the front. And if she can't do an long angled cut to not try just do my bangs and basic trim. Uneven all around ( and she needed to cut over 4 inches off just to still have it be uneven) and tried to say it was a problem with my hair. Note my hair is naturally pin straight. NEVER go there. These girls need a new profession this is not the career for any of them. And yes we tried a few just to be fair. read more

I took my 14 year old daughter there for a trim yesterday, the stylist used a spray bottle to dampen then trimmed her hair. The stylist asked if she could blowdry it a bit and my daughter said yes, so she did for about 5 minutes, then we had to leave to pick up my other daughter. They charged me 14.95 for the trim, then charged me $20.00 for using the blowdryer!!!!!! I understand that if they had washed her hair, or spent a bunch of time on it but come on!!!!! We paid because i was going to be late and I did not have time to argue, but I would not suggest going there to anyone. read more
