Amazing service with Lisa! I had booked an appointment with her after reading several good reviews about her service, and I was not disappointed at all. I have very thick, curly hair so I get nervous with haircuts sometimes, but Lisa was so knowledgeable and really took her time. I had told her that I wanted to keep my length and just needed reshaping, and she did exactly that! She really prioritized cutting as little as possible but giving me the best results. DO NOT GO HERE if you have long hair. No idea what they are doing. I had a nice cut and went in for a trim. Hacked 2 inches of the back and 3 off the front. Did not know how to angel or blend or layer. Left with a littoral hack job. These girls are not hairdressers! Not only would I not call you I WOULD NEVER STEP FOOT in that CHOPSHOP AGAIN! it's unreal that toy are in business. I should see if the hair choppers are even licensed. read more

This place is awful. The lady that cut my hair whacked the crap out of it. Big clump sticking up in the back & the bangs were no where close to being even. I didn't notice until I got home. I went in for a trim, she grabbed the clippers & went crazy not using scissors hardly at all. Plus she was done in under 5 minutes. When I only left her a dollar tip she became rude & abrasive. My normal hair salon was closed which I completely forgot about, so I was looking online and saw that Supercuts was open. I decided to go and try it out even though the reviews were mixed. When I walked in, my name was taken and about 5-10 mins later was called. The woman that called me asked me to take my hair out while I was standing next to the counter. Two stylists debated who should take me because I was asking for a wash and blow dry only. My hair is slightly below shoulder length, wavy and on the thicker side. The women decided that the stylist closest to the windows would take me. Upon sitting down in the salon chair the stylist said that it would be $30-$50 depended on how much time it took. The woman added "if it takes me over a half hour to finish your hair it'll automatically go up to $50 sorry." Just washing my hair take about 15 minutes. When the process was over and my hair was dry it took about 45-50 mins (including the wash) My normal salon is also in Westborough, which is phenomenal. They charge me $40 with eyebrow shaping included (Rivkah's Hair Studio) Checking out was fast - I was asked for $50 and gave the woman my card. She asked how much I wanted to put on the car and I replied with $50. She gave me a dirty look because I didn't tip with the card. I gave her a 20% tip after the card was swiped in cash. When I left, the ends of my hair we're in all different directions, I had to go home and fix it myself. I never write reviews but I felt walking in that the stylists didn't care about their clients waiting or myself. It also upset me that there was a two people who seemed to have some sort of special needs and the younger female stylist was just staring at them like they were less that her. Needles to say I won't ever be returning. Paying $60 with tip for a wash and blow dry is crazy. This Supercuts is over priced, and they have unfriendly staff. read more

I am beyond enraged with a situation. I brought my 10 year old son in for a haircut tonight. After the haircut, they proceed to take out a hot towel to wipe his neck. He moved his head away and said "oh that's hot" so the hairdresser turned it over and continued wiping his neck. We get home when he tells me his neck hurts and his neck has all red marks. 4 hours after the haircut!! She burned him! Obviously they have no idea that a 10 year olds skin is more fragile then an adult male. I WILL NOT LET THIS GO! This is inexcusable. You don't put anything on a child without asking a parent. EVER!! I am writing in regards to the service I received at the Westborough, MA Supercuts located at 18 Lyman St, Westborough, MA 01581. On December 15, 2013 at approximately 10:45 AM I walked into the salon and had asked for my hair to be blow-dried. I told the two ladies working there that I just washed it, and didn't need a cut or anything, just a simple blow-dry. I had mentioned to them that I had come to this salon several times and that the manager had made a notation in my account for this service to be $20. Because just a blow-dry isn't in your system, she marked it as $26.95 with a $6.95 coupon to bring the price to $20. In fact, I had just had my hair blow-dried the previous Thursday at the exact same salon, and they simply looked up my name, and saw the notation and gave me zero problems. The stylist did such a great job, I returned on Sunday. Sahiba was at the register and Maria (shift manager) were the only two stylists there. Sahiba said she can absolutely not do a blow-dry for only $20 on hair that is my length. Maria also said she cannot, I tried explaining to them how the manager had put in a special notation, but they didn't even try to look it up, they just kept rudely saying to me that they cannot do it. Maria ultimately said she would charge me $44 for a simple blow-dry (no wash, no cut, just blow-dry)! I told them that I am a very loyal customer who has come into that salon several times and have never had a problem nor ever been talked to like that. Their tone was beyond rude borderline obnoxious. Needless to say, I went down the street to Great Clips, and they gladly blow-dried my hair for $20. My hair is down to my midback, but thin and takes 20 minutes to blow-dry, if that. Great store - I have been trying different barbers over the last 3 months and I think I just found a winner! The location nis awesome, excellent parking, very clean, and the customer service is great! My stylist (Maria) listened to what I wanted and gave me an excellent cut. I usually bring my son here to get his hair cut. They do a pretty good job with that. My biggest issue with this salon is how they manage walk-ins vs. online reservations. When I make an online reservation and show up at the appointed time, there is often someone who comes in after me but is still taken before me. I asked the lady at the register about this and she gave me some kind of song and dance that I really didn't understand. Seems to me that if a customer shows up for an appointment on time, they should get the next available person. If the hairdressers are running late, they should call the customer to advise a new time. And if someone is late to their appointment, then customers who are on time should not be made to wait longer. My time is valuable and they don't seem to appreciate that. I love coming here!. I've been coming here for years, all of the staff does a great job and has great suggestions for me. I particularly love getting my hair done by Denise when she's available. The salon is clean, welcoming, convenient location, affordable I know sometimes people think that these franchises have only brand-new stylists (which there is nothing wrong with that either in my experience), but all of the stylists I've had have had years of experience and turn out a great style. I was a bit nervous about going to Supercuts after reading all the previous reviews on Yelp. But I'm glad I went to them for my haircut. It was a peaceful and pleasant experience. The lady who cut my hair sat down to talk to me about what I wanted to do with my hair. Then she took me to wash my hair and ensured that I was ok with the water temperature. She even let me choose the shampoo (I liked the Tea tree one, very refreshing). And after washing my hair, she asked me more questions about how I want to cut my hair and started off. She didn't take too long but she was very thorough with her work. I was pleased while I sat quietly, a bit lost in my thoughts. I was relieved that she wasn't trying to yak my ears off like the hairdressers do in other saloons. So I'd say it's introvert friendly. After cutting my hair, she gave me a mirror so I could check if I was satisfied with the haircut or if I needed any changes. I was pleasantly surprised. And after that, she blow dried my hair and told me to let her know if the clips were too tight or the heat was too much. Frankly, it was the best haircut I've had because other saloon never bothered with these tiny details that used to irk me a lot. She ensured that I was satisfied and oh yeah, I really was! Awful customer service. I don't even want to give this place 1 star but lowest I can go. Called store at 9:30am and asked if I needed to make reservation. Was told to just come in and there was only 1 person in store. I arrived at 10am with my 2 kids and waited until they finished with customers to check me in. Customers came in after me and after waiting another 15mins they called the customer who came in after me to get their service. I asked why we weren't next and was told bc the people who came in afterwards had called in. I told them I called in as well at 9:30 and the lady said that they were still first. I asked how they would know who called first if they didn't make reservations for us. No answer was given. I walked out after wasting 40mins. They lost 3 customers today. Never coming back and will never recommend this place to anyone else. Awful awful customer service. read more

Went in and was seated very quickly which is about the only plus that this place had. The hairdresser had never heard of a size 9 or 10 buzzer before even though I have had it used multiple times at different places. I say ok, scissor it then please, because a 5 (the highest they had) was too short. She immediately starts cutting wayyyy to much hair off my head. By the time she stopped to ask me how it was basically a buzz cut. You cut a little at a time and ask before you cut off 3/4 of my hair.... It was also extremely rushed. She cut all my hair in less then 10 minutes because there were people waiting. The hair itself was completely different lengths and she tried to fix it. The manager came out and the hairdresser asked her if shes ever heard of a size 10 and of course the manager says YES but not here at Super Cuts.....why would the other employee who is a professional hair dresser not know what a size 10 was? Or the approximate length that it would be? They didn't make me pay for the haircut but it is the shortest my hair has ever been and some parts of my hair are still different lengths. read more

Busy salon off road towards the back of the shopping plaza. Friendly and fun hair stylists. Upbeat environment. I rotate between carly and ally because they are knowledgeable and give really good cuts. Both are fun to talk to. Have see other stylists and have not had any bad experiences. They should get a sign though to increase traffic. You might miss them if you don't know they are there. The one up by wegmans is pretty good and both are are my way home. read more
