I moved to NYC a few years ago and still drive the 3.5 hours to Shrewsbury at least once a year to get my hair cut and colored by Katie. Her balayage technique makes my hair look amazing and it grows out perfectly so I can usually make it the full year before coming back for my next visit. (even hairdressers in Brooklyn when I've needed a trim have commented on how nice the color is) The vibes are impeccable and after watching her team work with other clients in such thoughtful ways I'd also trust any one of them to do my hair if Katie was ever unavailable. Run don't walk to this salon for your next haircut. You won't regret it.

After talking about the style of cut I wanted with photos, she seemed to know what I wanted! Then, she took her time in giving me a one-length angled lob--something I don't usually do. After she was done, she thought we could improve the look by cutting some more off the back. She meticulously made sure all the lines and angles were right. I will be back, and can now say that I've found my hairstylist! Thank you, Andrea, for giving me back my style. Thank you for listening to my needs and delivering. Thank you so much for spending the time to get the cut to where both you and I were happy with it. I am looking forward to seeing you, again!

I have expanded the services from gel manicures to pedicures and eyebrows but they also do hair and my niece loves her haircuts. I highly recommend this salon! I also recommend that you call ahead to be sure of availability - but I have had great success calling same day for service. My gel manicures easily last the 2 weeks and typically last much longer than I have experienced in the past. My Mom (~80) recently started coming here after a poor experience at another salon in the area and has been so pleased with the service and friendliness of the employees/owners she continues to return for her manicures and is amazed how long they last her. Recent renovations to spiff up the statiions (and more work expected in coming months) are also very nice and tasteful. Very easy to park on street or in lot behind salon. Bikes likely find a place in the lot as well.

I wanted a hair wash and blow out the day before I am induced with my first baby. The sylist acted like I was inconveniently there, wash my hair so hard I was wincing, didn't adjust the bowl at all, and washed my hair with ice cold water. When she finally slowed down and realized she was hurting me, instead of apologizing and slowing down, she got pissed and someone else will do it. I said no, it's just a little hard. After that terrible experience, we went to blow dry. Same thing. Hard brushing, and rushing to get me out. I'm walking out 20 hours before the biggest day of my life in tears, and smelling like moth balls from their disgusting shampoo.
