I was able to sign up online for an appointment just a few hours in advance. I was called back within a few minutes. Raquel was the stylist and made sure to listen to my request for layers. They have a $3 off special on Tuesdays! I didn't award 5 stars simply due to the service being focused on quick cuts and I feel like more time could be spent to make sure everything was cut evenly. I think she was done in less than 15 minutes for my shoulder length hair. Normally it is at least 30 minutes at other places but they charge much higher prices! This is a new business to Bulverde/Spring Branch having opened within the last month. My daughter had already tried them and went on and on about how good they were. As I have had several injuries from the place across Hwy 46, I was definitely willing to give them a try. This is located in a new shopping that is still under construction. Due to the newness, I was able to get a front row parking space. When I walked in, they were working with folks from GVTC (seems they are having issues with internet), and did not acknowledge my presence. However, that was corrected quickly by the young lady that cut my hair. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name so that I could recognize her here (I'll make sure and get her name on my next trip). I can't say enough good about this young lady. She asked me what I was looking for in a haircut and proceeded to give me exactly that. She did this while carrying on a great conversation without talking too much. She also did this without any injuries to the client:-) Will I return? Definitely! They always ask me kind of hair cut and they listen to me most of the time, every now and then you get some one that just does what she wants. Especially when you tell them not a short cut Still wanting the length. But otherwise they do listen. read more

They need leadership in the, the store has no sense of urgency in cutting hair and getting that customer out and on with the next. I get being friendly and building a relationship with the customer, but to stop cutting to have a conversation is not what is needed. Zero stars if I could. Hair grows back, but the whole point of getting a haircut is to freshen up and look better than you did when you went in. Not come out looking worse. It wouldn't be an issue if they actually listened to what you want, but for some of the ladies here, that's just not possible. 'Slight trim of 3/4in off' doesn't mean that here. It means they cut off as much as they want and still expect you to pay. This is a hair salon, not an art studio. They should actually listen to the customers rather than show creative expression. My hair looks stupid now, and I can't do anything about it besides be pissed and never come back. You've been warned. read more

My 16 year old daughter got an excellent hair cut from Jazmin. She was really nice, related well with her, and took her time making sure it was perfect! It came out so good you couldn't tell at all that she was fixing a terrible hair cut we got the day before from a lady named Kaitlyn. When I say perfect... I truly mean PERFECT! She completely made up for our bad experience the day before. As I observed the rest of the stylists while my daughter's hair was getting cut, I could tell everyone working was doing a great job as well. I am very impressed. As for Kaitlyn... maybe she was just having a very bad day? Maybe just avoid seeing her if you are worried about it. Other than that I wouldn't be weary of getting your hair cut here. I originally stopped in for a hair cut at Super Cuts because it was convenient. NOW I go to Supercuts because they give a GREAT hair cut for a very reasonable price. The shop is bright and clean. The hair stylist are exceptional! I stop in on "bad hair days" and I rarely have to wait. read more

Jazmin did an angled bob and it is lovely. I really appreciated her technical skills, friendliness and that she got me in quickly.

Well I knew they had new hours so I made a point to get there by 6pm their temporary hours. I go the doors at 5:45 and door was locked with people inside. I go to my car and call and ask if they are open they said they close at 6pm well it was 545pm. And door was locked. The woman who answered said are door is not locked as I saw her walk to door and unlock it. Crappy customer service. They had 15 minutes before they closed but locked the door. And Lying to top it off didn't help either. NEVER GOING BACK! Lazy people. If your Hours say you close at 6pm you don't lock your doors at 545pm you lock them at 6pm. read more

I went to get my haircut with told she was no longer working there.. she was the best stylist I came across gave me what I wanted my husband and boys adored her. Well today I found her so if anyone looking for candy she is at greatclips on tpc parkway. Hope this helps for those who loved her work. read more

I went in for a trim and told the Stylist I wanted 1 inch taken off. She told me she thought my hair needed an Inch and a half off and I said that would be ok. While she was cutting the back she informed that she took 4 inches off! I did NOT agree to that and she did not ask me if that was ok. My hair was pretty long and she cut it to just above my shoulders, getting your hair cut that short is something you need to be prepared for and I was not. I left feeling disappointed and sad since it took me so long to grow it out. She told me to come back in 12 weeks for a trim but I don't trust her since she seems to do what ever she wants to do with your hair. read more

At around 1:30 PM on 6/23/2020, I called Great Clips at 115 Old Boerne Rd, Ste 115 C and asked if I needed to make an appointment. The young lady said no come on in but you need to wear a mask. That's fine with me. I went there around 3:15 pm that day. I walked in and was asked if I had an appointment, I said no. As I sat and waited I notice a young girl, Maybe 19, sitting one of barber chairs playing on her phone, she had a mask on, but only covering her chin and lips, no her nose. Her hair was a hug black Afro. When a beautician would finish she would get up and sweep. She answered the phone when necessary, and sounded like the person I had talked to. Then about 3:30 a man came and she checked him in. 5 minutes later he was called back to get taken care of. About a minute before that a lady came in and Ms Afro checked her in. 5 minutes after the gentleman got called back they took the lady back. Now I have used this place 3 times in the last 2 years, never been treated like this! I normally go to 1659 Highway 46 W by HEB. There I always get good service without an appointment! I am NEVER Going Back To The Bulverde Location, again!!!!!!!!!! I hope the readers of this boycott that location!!!!!!! read more
