Andrea discussed what I wanted; she fixed my bangs I had cut myself, layered my long hair so it lays better. I left feeling much better about myself. I went to HEB the next day and a lady approached me loving my hair and took pictures of it to show her hair dresser since I live far (dripping springs). All the stylists seemed to be trained well, and I've been trying to find one in Austin and where I live that "knows how" to layer, style! It seems so easy but it isn't! It's a talent, an art! I've been to this salon twice in the last 3 months, and to start with the positive, the overall…read moreexperience is very nice. Everyone is friendly and ready to help. My main issue is with the stylist i've seen both times. The first time was a great hair cut especially since i was desperate and it was to make sure i dont look overgrown/ unprofessional at my work. I've been getting my hair done from someone else for my whole life, and the stylist doing my cut here, was in my opinion working with a good base since i was only a couple weeks overdue for my normal hair cut time. So the first hair cut was my normal standard and enjoyed some of the different techniques and textures from this first experience, something to note was the stylist needed help with staying on time and had someone wash my hair for her, keep that in mind. This last time i went i was way more grown out from the last time i came in, i waited 8-9 weeks and my hair grows very fast, like 2 inches in 9 weeks fast. Like the first time, someone had to help her with getting me washed up for the hair cut, both ladys were nice but it felt weird that i was on time (early infact) where as she was still putting color in another lady's hair when the hand me in the chair and i was finished with the wash. That may be industry standard to some but i wasnt a fan of that. Then when she came to cut my hair, i told her what i wanted and somewhat delivered? The hair cut is uneven, some parts didnt get cut or shaved off (i have shaved sides) and i weirdly long part of my bangs that should've been addressed in the appointment but i didnt notice all the parts that needed to be done till i got home when i was able to get a really good look. I had to even shave off a chunck of hair by my left temple because it looked off with it there and was not shaved down properly. Overall i enjoyed the experience of going there and the way everyone is friendly but not the result i was hoping for honestly. I will be going back to my other stylist for my next hair cut so she can fix the uneven hair cut and I'm thankful she is available again. I recommend them overall but definitely make sure you like your haircut before you leave or you might end up uneven depending on the stylist.

Lauran listened to my frustration, found similarities in photos I had chosen, and then discussed with me her plan. Step by step, she walked me through what was happening. She went over pricing clearly before we got started, and then she went to work!! It was a long day, but as she said, it was totally worth it!! I came home, my husband was amazed! I went here every month for about 5 or so months. I started with the same stylist. Then one month…read morethe front desk called with a bunch of confusion and wanting me to move my appointment something about the stylist and I said no that's the only day I can come in. So I saw a different stylist. Consistently each month my hair color was correct and it was the same and I came from another salon with my formula so it was all written down. The second stylist did a good job and did the correct root color she also did highlights so it was an expensive visit so I become more blonde with the highlights. I schedule with the original stylist for the following color appointment and then two days ahead of time the front desk called with the same type of confusion about the appointments and I said You know what just change to the second stylist I've used I'll stick with her from now on because my life and my schedule is not congruent to these monthly confusions and changes being made to my appointments from this one stylist. So yesterday I went for my routine hair color with the second stylist who had done my root color the month before and it was the right color no problem because they have the formula in their computer. However the root color I ended up with was so dark so ashy, so gray looking so gross it looks like mud on my hair and of course it's ruined and the highlights I paid for last month as well are RUINED. I asked the second stylist if anyone can go into the computer and tweak someone's formula and she said yes and I said well since you did my color last month and it was perfect this month you did the same formula out of the computer( you say )and it's totally wrong not even in the ballpark then obviously someone has sabotaged it or you made a mistake. She assured me she didn't make a mistake. She assured me she followed what the computer said. Leaving me to assess that my hair was sabotaged yesterday. I SPOKE TO THE ORIGINAL STYLIST YESTERDAY WHO KEPT F****** UP MY SCHEDULE AND WHO I SWITCHED FROM AND SHE SAID SHE DIDN'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT BUT SHE KEPT STARING AT MY COLOR ON MY HAIR WITH A SMIRK ON HER FACE AND THAT'S WHEN I WENT INTO THE BATHROOM INTO THE LIGHT IN THE BATHROOM LOOKED IN THE MIRROR AND I KNEW THE COLOR WAS WRONG AND WAY TOO DARK. I BELIEVE SHE SABOTAGED IT IN THE COMPUTER I HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT It's so embarrassing and so gross I can't even go out in public without a hat on today. I've reached out multiple times through the front desk to leave a message for the owner to contact me before I started leaving reviews without any contact in return so I'm not sure that the message is getting relayed I'm turning now to social media and to reviews to try to have this result before I seek legal restitution. I'm out about $600 at this point and my hair is f***** up so bad I can't even go in public without a hat and William edge the owner will not contact me back. It's the most bizarre situation. I don't understand how these things are ALLOWED at professional hair salons without accountability.

At the spur of the moment, I called this Salon since it was in my area to see if they had availability and they invited me to go in. I was originally interested in getting highlights. I went in during the day since they were not busy. The girls seemed very nice and took time to discuss highlighting options, then we discussed suggestions for a haircut. I decided to let Kyra (not sure of the spelling) cut my hair. She took quite a while to cut my hair and when she showed me the back I had to hold my breath and bite my tongue. The layers she cut looked as if a 4 yearold had taken dull scissors to my hair. I mentioned that the layers didn't look even, but she assured me they were. I paid and left. I also hit the 30 percent tip by accident, but the Mgr said there was no way for her to void the transaction and re--ring it. SMH. I didn't even want to look at it again after I got home. A few days later I washed my hair and blew dried it and styled it, but I was still just as disappointed with the cut. Now, I can't get highlights because they will only exaggerate the butchered layers. The Mgr wanted me to go back in so she can fix the cut, but i don't want to because the layers have already been cut a lot shorter and the odds of being able to blend them correctly will most likely require cutting off a lot more of my hair. I'm stuck for at least another 6 months to let it grow, and then hopefully, I will find another Stylist that might be able to blend the layers and give me a quality haircut. I am VERY disappointed in my experience at Salon Envy.
