I also got an eyebrow wax. Co workers knocked on the door incessantly and she continued to be incredibly distracted. About four days after the appointment the scabs healed on my eyelids (thanks to treatment by my dermatologist). However the holes in my hair are still there... Don't waste your time. Don't sacrifice your hair. And don't waste your money, they will nickel and dime you and hit you with a bill at the end that doesn't seem to compute. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

They washed and conditioned my hair but they skipped detangling because they said they didn't know what type of hair I had. I came into the shop with an Afro and I made sure that my hair was combed through and detangled the night before my appointment. When it was time for my blow dry my hair was knotted and tangled for days. There were two assistants at once combing through my hair. I could feel my hair ripping out and could see clumps of hair everywhere. I ended up with a headache and had to tell them I only need one person combing through the tangles. At that moment I wanted to leave the salon and cry. My scalp was sore and my head was throbbing. I continued the service because I really wanted my hair cut for my birthday and I also did not want to leave the salon in anger or making a scene. When they finally took me over to Soiban's chair I was so uncomfortable. I had an audience of student assistants watching her cut my hair. I was not expecting this at all. Soiban was explaining what she was doing to my hair to the students while they talked about video games. She wasn't trying to get to know me as a client or talk to me. Why would we need to purchase product if the hair is done correctly in the first place we shouldn't need this! 4 the owner refused to refund any money and or nor did anything to make it right! She was charged over $300 for terrible results. BTW the website pricing states highlights start at $145. She was charged $50 for a teeny tiny trim that took less than 5 minutes and was trimmed with dry hair and was also charged extra for toner... somehow her services ended up over $300. If your staff makes a mistake you should do what it takes to fix it even if that means doing it yourself! I understand that hair prices are what they are but the customer walking out spending over $400 and hating the results is not righ! This experience has brought my daughter to tears! A few weeks ago I tried to go from a blonde-ish balayage to back to my darker hair. Turns out the first stylist only put toner in my hair so it lightened back up and turned a muddy green color after only 10 days!!!! Not only that but the layers I had asked for previously, weren't blended and done beautifully. I felt horrible having to complain about service I had received but Steph assured me that she would fix it and I would leave happy. And boy did she deliver!!! I've never been so happy with my hair!!! The color is beautiful and PERMANENT this time (not just toner) and I'm BLOWN away by the cut and layers she gave me. Steph is MAGIC!
