Well, I got a referral, and my first session with my friend's hairdresser was great--however, six weeks later, the same stylist utterly destroyed my hair; I left her chair after 4.5 hours devastated, and completely lost confidence in the profession. Then I met Kalea. She pulled out all the stops to rescue & recover my hair. She fixed my cut, restored the color (it took two sessions), and set me up with a routine & some incredible products to bring back the texture of my hair. Her work was/is nothing short of miraculous! It went from a total nightmare, to looking and feeling good again. It'll be a long road of trimming & deep conditioning before it's back to 100%, but I absolutely trust Kalea (in her beautiful little studio!) to get me there. I live just outside of Wimberley, so I finally decided to give Josh Poole of The Color Bar a try. Aside from being extremely talented, Josh is always willing to work with me. If I decide I want to let my hair grow a little longer, he makes it happen. If I tell him I want to go crazy with color, he's right there with ideas. When it's time for a cut and trim, I always look forward to seeing Josh. He has become quite a good friend.
