I've been coming here for years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and I've rarely had to wait more than a few minutes for a cut. Anne Marie and Eloise are my favorite stylists, but I've had great experiences with everyone there, and the cost is very reasonable. Big thumbs up read more

Hello everyone, I with brutal honesty decided to make a yelp account for this very reason! Yesterday night I decided to cut my hair at this location, my hair was below my waist line in a very well layered v shape. My hair was super damaged so I went ahead and decided to cut it. The woman who "helped" me was a woman with pink short hair. She had me stand up while she cut my hair and asked me if I would like to keep the v shape and I said yes. A few minutes later she had finished with my hair (didn't blow dry it) (common courtesy Supercuts!!) asked if my hair was okay and I noticed it was a bit uneven but considering it was full damp I wasn't able to see the horrible job she did (not to mention she over cut my very long hair) but whatever I went about my night My hair finally dried out as I got home, this woman had given me the worst haircut that can be given. It looked nothing like a v, it was horribly choppy and very uneven. It was so noticeable!!! I have been to different hair salons in sketchy neighborhoods, hair salons where women have no form of cosmetology licenses and yet my hair has never been this disgusting!!! I was trying to avoid this very situation, I was upset because I thought Supercuts was a reliable franchise company!! End of story, I called and spoke to a very kind woman named Elizabeth who took care of my hair. I had to cut it short because regardless of how well she fixed and blended my hair, their was no way she was going to be able to with out cutting most of it off. She was amazing and made the process easier. although it doesn't make up for the loss of my hair :( Not sure how that woman with the pink short hair can go from having a client with very long layered hair with a v shape to a choppy un even short hair length. My hair was already v'd??? It baffles me! If your employees cannot cut women's hair then it's perfectly fine but what's not fine is ruining someones hair!!! *NOTE* all pictures uploaded are pictures after the woman cut my hair!!! My hair was evenly layered with an actual V!!! read more

Big mistake.... I wrongfully assumed that someone had experience there to do a simple cut/blend on me. Pretty much a hack job and no real sense of balance for my haircut. Thankfully, it will grow back... read more

This was my First time at this locations and I found everything about the people and the place Five Star Excellent. The Manager Anasol did a great job with helping make my phone reservations, never made me feel rushed during the process and always kept a very friendly and caring tone during the process. The wait time was quick and easy. My Stylist Dazzling Danielle was OutStanding!!!!! She really listened to what I wanted in a hair cut. Never rushed, had a excellent sense of humor, and really made you feel like a VIP in her chair. Great Job by Great Talent. read more

I went for a simple hair cut, nothing fancy. I went to this place before I guess you need luck with who will do your hair. it's look like the lady doesn't know how to cut hair. the hair dresser asked me a lot of questions on how I want my hair cut like what number I want on the machine how many inches I want the hair to cut, I explain but she want me to tell her exactly what to do, like I was spouse to explain her how to do hair cut. The results are not good nothing even or straight. I went to another place and paid again to have it fixed. read more

I've been going to Supercuts since I was a child! So when I moves to the Valley Glenn area I was glad to see one close by. I've tried many of the stylist here and I've found Imelda is the best! Fades are her specialty and I've been coming to her for years! I've trusted my hair to her for everything from a casual cut to my wedding day hair cut and shes always done a great job! I even trusted my son's first hair cut with her and she did great! Even though I moved away from the area I still make it here everytime I need a cut. read more

I have been a longtime customer at this location. Decades. Today I left work early and raced across the valley for my 4:30 appointment. After the long drive I asked to use the restroom. The girl told me it was "not available for the public". And then she said it was out of order. (I do not believe her.) She advised me I could go across to use the gas station. I asked what she used and she said the gas station. When I told her it was illegal for employees to have no access to a restroom she claimed a plumber was coming but had no idea when. I went to the gas station where they refused to let me use the restroom. I told her the supercut girls told me to come over here and she said, "who?" and refused again. Sad, but time to move on. read more

Great customer service and great cut for my daughter. Will be coming back again with Evelyn !! Thank you guys!

Around $20 for a haircut is ok. They usually have $4-5 coupons through email so I use those. You can get a similar haircut for less at a non chain local haircut place. Here you can also checkin online to save time. Worked for me. read more

This place is just poorly managed this us the third time I've wasted my lunch break trying to get a haircut. Despite using the app at 12:15 to make a 1pm appointment and arriving at 12:40... I was kept waiting till 1:20. The final indignity was when they allowed someone who walked in five no idea ago to just jumo ahead of me to take my seat. if they knew that they were not going to be able to get to me until 2pm, they should have let me know upfront and I could have gone elsewhere. I'm done with this place. read more

Anne Marie is a doll if she still works here. I also have had wonderful haircuts by the other girls here too. I hope it stays the same for my future visits. read more

My son gets his hair cut here and he likes it. It can get pretty crowded sometimes, but hey, you aren't paying salon prices. They can improve on their online checkin, because if you reserve a spot at a certain time, there is still a chance that you have to wait up to 1/2 hour. read more

Came in at 8:26pm and was turned away bc two others ahead of me. With 2 employees going. Really? Turning away business so you can go home exactly at 9pm? Hope management messages me as this is not how you treat customers. If I came in at 840pm or later, I understand. But 34 minutes is a sufficient amount of time. Overall: FAIL read more

Being coming here for a couple of years, the wait is always aa bit long but worth it except for today worst haircut ever as soon as i walked out had to throw a hat on just horrible can only imagine it will get worse once i was the excess hair off. Hopefully my hair grows back quick read more

I have been coming here for years and just noticed the bad rating. Although I cannot speak for every single person working here, I can tell you with the highest of confidence that for Men's Haircuts, Michelle is worth every penny. She communicates very well and is able to cut any style you can provide a picture of or imagine. If you are the type of person that says 2 on the sides and some other number on the top, I'm sure she can do that to. If you are looking for a stylist that stays current with trends, is able to cut any style, and communicates very well then Michelle is your person. Oh, she is also super friendly and of course, worth the wait. Side notes: -Parking is easy and free -Calling ahead makes the wait shorter read more

These stylists are a joke. Went in for a haircut and I honestly was like wtf but I managed to keep my cool and walked away.

The worst business and services , not friendly and I only had $100 bill to Pay and since they did not have change they wanted me to run around and break the bill and leave my ID inside or could not leave the store. Pathetic ! I guess you get what at you pay for . I wish there was a 0 starts for this junk read more

Just the most unprofessional staff in the filthiest salon since pathogens were discovered. Rude, clueless and if it wasn't so tragic it would be funny. The stylist who began coughing uncontrollably admitted she was sick, yet with her smug demeanor claimed "I know how to keep from getting people sick by coughing into my sleeve and turning away"..... yeah? Tell Louis Pasteur all about it you half baked drop out. One must pose the question of HTF did you get through 1600 hours of theory and practical schooling let alone pass the state board? read more

Received a haircut earlier in the week, super nice lady, fun to talk to, but I left with my hair wet and realized when it dried, she paid no attention to my requests and did a half a** job. Called and they were willing to fix it. I went in today and lady was definitely better, but had the absolute worst attitude; I don't know if she was having a bad day, not a morning person, but she literally made me feel like I was a nuisance to her zero customers this morning. I left feeling super BAD! I have visited 6 times and will not be returning! I don't think it's too much to ask for attentive and courteous service. It's definitely not here! read more

So normally I end up spending 100 dollars for a haircut at my hair salon in Glendale. 2 weeks ago I decided to give myself a hair cut and ended up creating a disaster. I ended up running to Nicole at Supercuts for a 911 situation. For 20 bucks I ended up with a great haircut and now will be going back to her in a few months for a trim. Who knew Supercuts was so great ? read more

Supercuts - Straight and even unlike my skills - Hair Salons Near Me - Sherman Oaks, California

The lady (Flora) who cut my hair was very nice and did a great job, I have no complaints about her. My issue was with the woman who may or may have not been the manager. She thought it was a good idea to admonish one of the ladies cutting hair because the names of customers were not in the right order. The manager(?) herself was standing nearby when those people came in, but was busy, so when she went to get the next person and the names were out of order she turned around and yelled at the nearest hairdresser. Passing the buck does not help anyone, only made her look bad, and made all the customers uncomfortable. read more

Sadly, I was referred for the bang trim here and it failed all expectations. Mikah (sp?) was the person who trimmed my bangs and ruined a great cut that I got here previously. She didn't even bother to comb out my hair before she started, to make sure that everything was even. She just took the scissors and started clipping away. I had a thick cut bang that blended really well with the rest of my hair and when I arrived I told her that I wanted the same thing that I had. I just needed a trim. They don't know anything about trends or how to follow a style that a person already has. So I was sitting in my car looking at my hair and I did notice it was off. I turned around and went back in and Anna talked me out of cutting my hair any more. She recommended that I should grow it out. Oh yeah, I'll grow it out alright. She's a charmer that Anna, but there was nothing she could do to fix the tragedy that Mikah did to my bangs. You know it's bad when you go to Supercuts and come home wanting to cry. That's how horrible this place can be. read more

I had the best haircut with Margerit, she was fast , kind , friendly and by far the best stylist I've ever had, she really knows what she is doing, great costumer service, kind and easy going , I am definitely going back to her , no matter what kind of hair you have or you want , she knows how to do it,Supercut needs more employees like her read more

Usually attended to very quickly and done in 20 mins. Like other review, not always the best cut, depends on which stylist you get and how much of a rush they are in. Pays to be able to tell them how you want the cut, be attentive as they cut, and be there when they're not slammed or tired. Last night worked out well for me and the stylist. :) read more

Went in for a haircut. No one waiting and they asked if I can come back in two hours because they had call in appointments that were due to come in in 15 and 30 minutes from the time I was standing there. By the time I wasted with the lady at the desk and time before the other appointments she could of cut my hair, I have very short hair and just needed a quick cut. I have been coming to this location for 7 years and now I will be looking for a different place to cut my hair because of the very poor service. read more

I was on my way home from work when I drove pass this place. I figured, I needed a trim so why not. As soon as I got in I was seated and the chick that cut my hair (sorry i don't remember her name) was cool. She did a good job on my hair. My favorite part was the price. So I my wallet gives them 5 stars. read more

There's a great reason to get your hair cut at this location, and it is, hands down, Anne Marie. She's a great stylist and a pleasure to deal with. Definitely worth the sometimes wait. I can only hope that she stays at this location, but I'd travel anywhere to get my hair cut by her. (I did notice that often times the scheduling webpage doesn't list her name even though she is working (as it happened today). I hope Supercuts fixes that soon.) read more

The keys to having a good experience at Supercuts are pretty simple: 1. Make an appt. 2. Find the stylist that you like who can cut your hair. 3. Have very realistic expectations about a $20 haircut. Don't deviate from this and Supercuts will be good to you. At this location there are some rock stars and some rocks. Anna Sol is fantastic. She works during the week, so plan accordingly. The problem with Supercuts is that they only keep their bad stylists. Anyone who has been good ends up leaving to go somewhere else. Management there needs to do comment cards etc. and put bonus structures in place to keep the skilled stylists longer. read more

MICHELLE. MICHELLE. MICHELLE. I was very skeptical about this place because of the mixed reviews I read. But after I went through them, I noticed Michelle had glowing reviews. So I asked specifically for her when I called. They don't take appointments but they do put your name down when you call (kind of strange). But anyways, Michelle was able to see me in the evening and she was fantastic! Michelle is proficient in all cuts and she will make sure she knows exactly what you're asking for. And she's also so down to earth. She's very friendly and will make you feel very comfortable. Over all, I had a great experience with her. So if you want your hair done right, I highly recommend her. She works part-time so call ahead and make sure she's there. read more

I had the pleasure of having Princess do my hair for me today she was so sweet kind knowledgeable and very gentle caring and delicate with my hair as she gave me a deep conditioning treatment. She told me a lot of wonderful methods of care that I can practice to increase its health. There's also a 20% off discount right now on hair products so I got an "It's A 10" masque because I love that line and have used it in the past and am very excited to use it again and get my blonde hair back to health again! This is an update because the stylist left as of the date before this update... So some of these low star reviews are probably spot on, for the people who took the time to write them. I went to this location after reading the reviews here; for the 1st time about 8 weeks ago. Went back 3-4 weeks later and need to go back soon. My first experience was with Karbe (or Karmee?. . Gosh I suck and he is going to give me side I when I go I'm next) but he set the positive tone and great h/c experience. His pleasant attitude and awesome haircut with a hard line. It was great. His co-workers were nice and appreciated that I was there for a specific cut and set me with the right guy !! Thanks read more

I don't go as often as I should but I try to go in every couple of months to get my undercut buzzed. No matter whose chair I sit in, I get a great haircut. The crew makes me feel very comfortable from the second I walk in, to the moment I say goodbye. They always greet me with a smile, they remember my name, they're funny and friendly, and professional. Sometimes there's a wait but it's never for too long and they never forget that you're waiting. I know that if I need a quick, clean cut, I can just walk in and get one with this crew. read more

What a great place. Honestly, I'm a little surprised at the reviews people have left for this place. I get my hair cut here every other week and have always left here happy. I always make an appointment with Melanie as she is absolutely the best stylist here. She takes her time but is still fast enough that you don't feel like you're just sitting around. The place is always clean and has good mix of both men and women making it comfortable and inviting. Leaving happy. read more
