Most of my female friends look mortified when I tell them that I go to Supercuts to get my hair cut. I simply smile and tell them how hair stylists at Supercuts go through extensive training and use a system when cutting your hair. How do I know this? I ask questions when I am there in the chair. My latest experience today was with CeCe, she not only was in the most joyous mood as she cut my hair, but she took her time to make sure I felt satisfied. I LOVE SUPERCUTS! read more

When did u have to start making an appt at SC to get a basic trim/haircut? Location barely has a staff no products on the shelf...am I missing something here? I was quoted a 90 min wait in tbe middle of the day...yeah buh bye...gonna check out Fabkurz right across the street read more

Marisela rocks! She does an amazing job cutting my hair, is super friendly, and has a nice smile. The place is clean and busy. I know this Supercuts has some poor reviews, but give Marisela a shot and see if it doesn't make a difference. read more

I hate salons and this is exactly why I avoid them. Ask for long layers and you'll get short. Ask for a trim and get half of your hair chopped off. If you have long hair DON'T come to this place. I am so upset. Just because you feel like more needs to be cut it doesn't mean you should take the decision upon yourself to do so without asking. If I had let her keep going she would've left me with even shorter hair. I'm pissed. Never again. read more

Very rude enployees, specially Vanessa (Estrada?). They made it appointment for me on the phone and when I got there they told me I had to wait at least another hour. Then Vanessa came out from the back and told me take it or leave it have a good day and she turned around and walked away. Extremely rude and unprofessional! read more

Good vibe and friendly. Walk into a business and they don't even greet you, red flag. The chairs were filled and I sat outside and the salonist even came outside to let me know that it's time for me to come in, which was cool. read more

Don't waste your time because who ever works here don't care about your time. Had an appointment at 6:30pm got here a little early, now it's 7:10pm and I'm still sitting and waiting cause I'm already time invested. If the people that work here don't know how to manage their time maybe you should have someone to manage the appointments for them. read more

My hair is so jacked up. Never again! Who uses thinning shears on thin hair?? My hair is so uneven. It's horrible. It took me so long to grow it out now I have to wait months to get it fixed...why did I pay for this read more

Great service, very professional staff and Amy, as always, does an awesome job. I have followed her through a couple of salons and I will continue to request her. read more

Go here! Mariala is my go-to girl! Hard to find someone who cuts women's short cuts so was lucky and THRILLED with my first, and now second (of many to come) , styling. She is a wiz with the cutting, trimming, clippers, and my fave, thinning shears. I look FAB. The cuts by others seemed wonderful as well. The store is clean and runs efficiently with appointments. Street parking, but disabled spot at gas station. read more

Alexis is my savior! Her energy is so positive and she did such a great job. I got a simple cut and told her I wanted layers but to keep length. She took her time and by the end of the session, I felt better than when I first walked in! I was so satisfied with my experience that I plan to see her again! Note: when I walked in, there were other stylists tending to different customers and as I waited for Alexis to finish up with the client before me, I observed everyone in good moods just vibing and leaving with a smile. read more

Brittany was pleasant, good conversationalist and above all, expert...made my hair look good again! The shop was clean, neat and QUIET! I will return and ask for Brittany again. read more

Have always had great experiences at this location. I sat down with my stylist today, she started looking over my scalp and appeared disgusted. She asked when was the last time I washed my hair. I said two days ago, and told her it might be hair gel she was seeing. With a sour face, she said no and called over another stylist to look at me scalp. The other stylist said "Oh, he just has a little dandruff, that's fine." Then she says no, no, no, I will need to try and wash that out. This is all while I am surrounded by other customers. Was she trying to shame me for having dandruff? Not the way to treat customers, I've been going to this location for the last 20 plus years. I will not be back. read more

Had a walk in appointment with Diane P. Very nice and very knowledgeable! Will definitely come back to get a haircut with her again.

I went in for a haircut and color and I sure feel great. I was told I looked slightly younger. How old am I? Lol... Rosie S. Your the best. Thank you. read more

I really love this place. The people are friendly and really listen to what I want done...and then they do it. The place is unpretentious and the price has got to be half of what the "trendy" salon's charge. Five stars. read more

Don't waste your time... people who work there obviously don't care about your time. I checked my son in for 5 pm on the app. Arrived at 455pm, checked us in, so we were early.. no prob. The app said there may be a 15 min wait , which I thought might be fine if they communicated that to me. At 510pm , I asked how many people were before my son. They said 3 people before him. The lady asked me if that was ok. I replied no and walked out. Why would I check in on the app for 5 pm if my son would not have been seen past 30 mins later? No one cares and they are slow like molasses. Shame on them. The vibe was off... the place was hot and the AC was not flowing. What a dump. Do better Supercuts. $34.50 for a cut for my kid!? What a joke this place is. I'm calling corporate. read more

Great Service and very professional. Short wait times and convenient location. Price is not cheap as it used to be but better than $60.

Great cut by Ci Ci. She took her time to do the job right. Not Rushed. Very polite and explanitive about the length of my cut. Highly recommend this location and Ci Ci. read more

Red. That's the manager's name. She is amazing. So amazing that I offered to her, "hey can I call your manager?" "Do a Yelp review, instead," she asked. So here I am. Recommending the store she runs. I came to Supercuts because I previously had a haircut and color done in Ulta. I was very dissatisfied with Ulta hair stylist bc they didn't cut not color my hair the way I showed them from a picture so I decided not to go back there and today I made an apt at Supercuts and Rosi who works at Supercuts placed an apt for me. I showed her a picture of the hair style and color I wanted and I was so impressed how friendly, professional and patient Rosi was. She even got me hot tea from next door. She took special time and she made sure I was satisfied with my new hairstyle. It came out better than I expected and I was truly happy. I truly appreciate Rosie's hard work and professionalism. I absolutely recommend Supercuts and definitely make an apt with Rosi. This location is over Burbank Blvd. Supercuts 14844 Burbank Blvd Sherman Oaks, CA 91411 read more

Checked in for 1:30pm and got there around 1:25pm. Two other guys come in after me with the same time. 1 of them goes to the lady first because he requested her so apparently he gets priority. Ok whatever. Then at 1:55pm they take the other guy because he had a reservation. They never asked for my name or even told me that I'd be taken last eventhough I got there first. They let me sit there for 30 mins telling me that'd I'd be taken after 2pm. Don't come here if you value your time. Online check-in is pointless read more

Rosie helped me today. She cut, colored, and put low lights. She was sweet and very helpful in finding the right color for me. She also cut both my 4 year old and 7 year olds hair. She was very patient and kind with each of them. I've been to this location a few times and each time have been pleased with the service. read more

This place is just getting worse and worse. Before the pandemic it was fine, since then the people who work here don't seem to even know how to operate their computer, let alone cut hair. I've used their online reservation system multiple times, and it never works. When you get there they still have no idea you are coming, and make you wait. So I stopped using the online system and call them instead to find out when might be a less busy time time, and put my name on the reservation list. Today I called them around 2pm, and they told me to come in at 4:40pm. I gave them my name and phone number, and said I'd see them at 4:40. When I got here, at exactly 4:40pm, they had no idea who I was, no idea I had made the reservation, and no memory of me ever calling. How is that possible? There were only two people working there, one of them obviously took my call and my info. When I asked them what happened, they said they didn't know and asked for all my info again. So I just left. The correct answer should have been, "we're sorry, we're having computer issues today." Or "we're sorry, we don't know how to work this system yet." Instead, it was bewildered stares, and suggesting it was my error. Or that I never called at all! I don't need to pay people (double the price of what it was pre-pandemic) to treat me disrespectfully and do a mediocre job cutting my hair. I'll go elsewhere. I'm sure I can be disrespected and getting a crappy haircut for half the price somewhere else! read more

I made an appointment online . When I arrived there was one lady Ceci cutting a man's hair. She smiled and greeted me. I checked in. No one came for 30 minutes to assist me. When Eloisa came she snubbed me and took the Hispanic client after me. I told her I had an appointment at this time and she told me to wait for the next person. Rude. I left . I hope they do not treat all their new clients like this. Poor service to the max read more

Writing this review because of how attentive and helpful Rosie was. I came in about 30 mins till closing and although she had to finish up with someone else she still took me in and gave me a great haircut! She was sweet, talkative, and overall just a pleasant person to be around. She is definitely the reason I will return to this location. Thank you Rosie for all your help. Your kindness does not go unnoticed. read more

I have going here for 3 years and today was my last day because of the constant bad haircuts. When I asked for a trim, layered, business cut, what I got like always was a butchered military cut. I received a hell of a lot better haircuts in the military. These "stylist" need to go back and learn how to cut a basic mens cut. I am moving DTLA this week and will seek out a real barber and get better service. I own a business and would not treat a client like what I have been getting from Supercuts. read more

Rosie was very helpful and did an amazing job. It's nice to see that customer service still exists.

3 stars is about right. The lady with dyed blonde curly hair had the foulest FOULEST attitude. I mean really bad. She hated my kid, and let it be known. Her attitude was just terrible and I can't stress that enough, the reason for the 3 stars is simply and ONLY because she gave me a decent cut. I am howevEr the lowest maintenance when it comes to my hair. Either way I do feel like she did what I told her to do despite her trying to talk me I out of it. Lol. Still appreciate that. So if you are like me and all you care about is someone just doing what you ask them to and cut your damn hair then it's for sure worth coming in. But here are a few tips: 1. Don't get your hair shampooed or anything of the sort, get in, get cut and gEt out, or I'm sure you'll be disappointed. 2. Please please please Do NOT bring kids here. I only brought my daughter with me because i intended to get her hair cut after mine but after this lady's foul demeanor I did not trust her anywhere near my chiilds head. They do not have the capacity to deal with children. 3. Only come on slow times, if there is ANY wait it will be over 30 for sure. And this place is certainLy not worth 30 minutes of your idle time. 4. Do not come here if you are at all picky about your hair. Don't. Do. It. read more

Showed up at 11:50 to an empty salon with two hair stylists. They asked whether I checked in. I had not as the Supercuts app said 0 min wait. I was informed they had two appointments at noon and more at 12:30 and the earliest I could return would be 2-2:30. The app said i could check in for a 12:30 although I was told their system doesn't show that and I would have to come back later. Really unclear why Supercuts markets these check-ins with a "short wait may be possible" but has stores treat the check in like a reservation that limits present customers ability to get a haircut if it rolls into a check-in time slot. read more

Seriously, the best haircut I have ever had. I have gone to different salons in the area and in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills. To be honest, I'm tired of being disappointed with hair services. I ask for something and it's not what I asked for. I'm not a big complainer, just simple, I ask for something, I show a picture and I get something different but I still pay. It's been my cycle with hair services for a long time. And I'm happy to say that I finally found my hairstylist. Not only did she give me the best haircut but gave me her opinion which I love. I ask hairstylists all the time, what do you think goes with my face structure, etc etc etc. I always get a "it's up to you" and again, it's disappointing and pretty annoying . She gave me her vision, I liked it, she did it and it's incredible. Her name is Cece. You will not leave disappointed. And she will be my hairstylist as long as she is the business. Thank you again Cece!! read more

Worst haircut of my life!!! My hair was completely ruined and after seeing the results of her work i instantly started to cry and instead of helping me fix my hair she said she didn't feel safe. I highly DO NOT recommend there services. I almost had to go bald to fix the mess she started. I've had had to spend hundreds of dollars to fix her mistake. read more

Yeah came back for a haircut with specific notes about the haircut I'd like (even had it saved on the system, had written notes in hand, and a picture readily available of a previous haircut i had) only to have this lady (I think her name was Esme, i don't know nor do I care at this point) completely ignore my notes and go crazy. Should I have said something? Yes. But i don't have my glasses on to see how short it is, and I have to trust a "professional" in regards to something I don't do professionally. This location will never get my business again. Great job! read more
