Most of my female friends look mortified when I tell them that I go to Supercuts to get my hair cut. I simply smile and tell them how hair stylists at Supercuts go through extensive training and use a system when cutting your hair. How do I know this? I ask questions when I am there in the chair. Go here! Mariala is my go-to girl! Hard to find someone who cuts women's short cuts so was lucky and THRILLED with my first, and now second (of many to come) , styling. Alexis is my savior! Her energy is so positive and she did such a great job. I got a simple cut and told her I wanted layers but to keep length. Have always had great experiences at this location. I sat down with my stylist today, she started looking over my scalp and appeared disgusted. She asked when was the last time I washed my hair. I said two days ago, and told her it might be hair gel she was seeing. With a sour face, she said no and called over another stylist to look at me scalp. The other stylist said "Oh, he just has a little dandruff, that's fine." Then she says no, no, no, I will need to try and wash that out. This is all while I am surrounded by other customers. Don't waste your time... people who work there obviously don't care about your time. I checked my son in for 5 pm on the app. Arrived at 455pm, checked us in, so we were early.. no prob. The app said there may be a 15 min wait , which I thought might be fine if they communicated that to me. At 510pm , I asked how many people were before my son. They said 3 people before him. The lady asked me if that was ok. I replied no and walked out. Why would I check in on the app for 5 pm if my son would not have been seen past 30 mins later? No one cares and they are slow like molasses. Shame on them. The vibe was off... the place was hot and the AC was not flowing. What a dump. Do better Supercuts. $34.50 for a cut for my kid!? I came to Supercuts because I previously had a haircut and color done in Ulta. I was very dissatisfied with Ulta hair stylist bc they didn't cut not color my hair the way I showed them from a picture so I decided not to go back there and today I made an apt at Supercuts and Rosi who works at Supercuts placed an apt for me. I showed her a picture of the hair style and color I wanted and I was so impressed how friendly, professional and patient Rosi was. She even got me hot tea from next door. She took special time and she made sure I was satisfied with my new hairstyle. It came out better than I expected and I was truly happy. I truly appreciate Rosie's hard work and professionalism. Checked in for 1:30pm and got there around 1:25pm. Two other guys come in after me with the same time. 1 of them goes to the lady first because he requested her so apparently he gets priority. Ok whatever. Then at 1:55pm they take the other guy because he had a reservation. They never asked for my name or even told me that I'd be taken last eventhough I got there first. This place is just getting worse and worse. Before the pandemic it was fine, since then the people who work here don't seem to even know how to operate their computer, let alone cut hair. I've used their online reservation system multiple times, and it never works. When you get there they still have no idea you are coming, and make you wait. So I stopped using the online system and call them instead to find out when might be a less busy time time, and put my name on the reservation list. Today I called them around 2pm, and they told me to come in at 4:40pm. I gave them my name and phone number, and said I'd see them at 4:40. When I got here, at exactly 4:40pm, they had no idea who I was, no idea I had made the reservation, and no memory of me ever calling. How is that possible? There were only two people working there, one of them obviously took my call and my info. When I asked them what happened, they said they didn't know and asked for all my info again. So I just left. The correct answer should have been, "we're sorry, we're having computer issues today." Or "we're sorry, we don't know how to work this system yet." Instead, it was bewildered stares, and suggesting it was my error. Or that I never called at all! I don't need to pay people (double the price of what it was pre-pandemic) to treat me disrespectfully and do a mediocre job cutting my hair. I'll go elsewhere. Seriously, the best haircut I have ever had. I have gone to different salons in the area and in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills. To be honest, I'm tired of being disappointed with hair services. I ask for something and it's not what I asked for. I'm not a big complainer, just simple, I ask for something, I show a picture and I get something different but I still pay. It's been my cycle with hair services for a long time. And I'm happy to say that I finally found my hairstylist. Not only did she give me the best haircut but gave me her opinion which I love. I have going here for 3 years and today was my last day because of the constant bad haircuts. When I asked for a trim, layered, business cut, what I got like always was a butchered military cut. I received a hell of a lot better haircuts in the military. These "stylist" need to go back and learn how to cut a basic mens cut. Showed up at 11:50 to an empty salon with two hair stylists. They asked whether I checked in. I had not as the Supercuts app said 0 min wait. I was informed they had two appointments at noon and more at 12:30 and the earliest I could return would be 2-2:30. The app said i could check in for a 12:30 although I was told their system doesn't show that and I would have to come back later. Really unclear why Supercuts markets these check-ins with a "short wait may be possible" but has stores treat the check in like a reservation that limits present customers ability to get a haircut if it rolls into a check-in time slot. read more

3 stars is about right. The lady with dyed blonde curly hair had the foulest FOULEST attitude. I mean really bad. She hated my kid, and let it be known. Her attitude was just terrible and I can't stress that enough, the reason for the 3 stars is simply and ONLY because she gave me a decent cut. I am howevEr the lowest maintenance when it comes to my hair. Either way I do feel like she did what I told her to do despite her trying to talk me I out of it. Lol. Still appreciate that. Yeah came back for a haircut with specific notes about the haircut I'd like (even had it saved on the system, had written notes in hand, and a picture readily available of a previous haircut i had) only to have this lady (I think her name was Esme, i don't know nor do I care at this point) completely ignore my notes and go crazy. Should I have said something? Yes. But i don't have my glasses on to see how short it is, and I have to trust a "professional" in regards to something I don't do professionally.
