I've been going to the same local barber (who I love) for many years, and he is typically able to get me in at last minute. This weekend he wasn't, and it got me looking around town for other options -- and after a few calls, I chose Super Cuts based on a) the price, b) they take cards, and c) they take walk-ins. The location is nice, clean, and decorated well. Good choice of music playing, and has a comfortable waiting area. I only waited about 10 minutes (2 staff were there), and then I was welcomed into the chair by Peter. I showed him a couple of pics of how I normally wear it (basically a bald fade on the sides, with a little length up top), and he got right to work. He is quick, a great conversationalist, and good at what he does! I only had to ask him to go a little shorter on the sides, and he tackled that quickly. After the cut, everyone gets a hot, moist towel to wipe the hair off, and that's a nice touch! Admit-ably, I was a little skeptical going to a franchise place, but at least at this location, I'm wrong. The cost is VERY reasonable, Peter did a great job, and I like how quickly it was all done. Like I said, I have a regular barber, but should he ever be too busy again, I'll def be back in Peter's chair! read more

Downgraded due to lack of consistency in skill and quality. It takes time to know your stylist as well as he or she knows about you. But when your stylist left, the cycle repeats itself. When the frequency of turnover increases, it is time to move on. read more

This was a pleasant surprise. I came here because my other lady who cuts my hair wasn't available for me this week. I checked this place out since this was next to work. The prices were comparable to where I usually go. Let's just say that this lady with the tattoos on her arm and blonde hair can really cut hair. I mean she can REALLY CUT HAIR GOOD. My usual hairdresser said she was booked until the end of the month and honestly I just couldn't wait to cut my ends. I hate to just go to anyone to cut my hair but I was desperate. I did a lot of research on reviews to see which place was good. This Supercuts had the best reviews for David and Peter! Peter was working the day I was wanting to cut my hair. I arrived and only had to wait 15 minutes for my hair cut- pretty good. I got in the chair and Peter went straight to work! Peter did an absolute amazing job with my hair! He is so nice and very professional! I have gotten so many compliments, on my hair - more than I've gotten from my usual hairdresser! It pains me to write this review because I think Dana is a super sweet girl. However, she did such a horrible job cutting my hair that I won't be back. I did not ask for a difficult haircut. All I wanted was a hair trim with layers. I honestly don't know what she was thinking when she only layered the top half of my hair and not the bottom half. There were other mistakes she made cutting my hair. I had to go to another salon to have them fix my hair. There was a spot they couldn't fix because she cut it so short on the one side. I guess I should have known that my experience wasn't going to be a good one because when I went online to make an appointment, she was the only one who had appointments available all day. In fact, I thought she was the only person working that day. Turns out, there was another girl working that day too. However, she was all booked up. read more

Netty has the best chair side manner! She greeted us as we entered and listened to our frustration from where we had just came from. She needed to wrap up from her last client and said she'd be with us shortly the boys had fun playing with some toys while we waited. Within minutes she had us checked in and both boys in a chair! She even emailed me coupons for a discount that day because it was our first time visit! One boy had a style and Carmen nailed it and the other boy left it up to Netty who said she knew exactly what to do and recognized right away my son's cowlick. He loved what she did and we even bought the product she used to style it! I will definitely go back! Oh and they were also cool with me taking photos while they styled! I love this Salon. I've been going regularly for the past 6 months. Everyone here at the Oldsmar location is extremely friendly and helpful. My stylist, Jessica is a true artist and I feel fortunate to have found her. She always gives me an excellent cut and I leave feeling very satisfied. Her Manager is very friendly and attentive to the needs of the customers. I've been to many Supercuts & Fantastic Sam's and this location in Oldsmar is going to my "Go To" location going forward.
