I would NOT reccomend Hailey to anyone. She is rude,not professional, ands he was not listening to what I wanted, and didn't even let me finish explaining what I wanted. She started cutting my hair right away and I told her that if she needed to wet my hair to go ahead because I have a lot and it is thick. She didn't want to, even though I know it is impossible to do it with my type of hair. Then, she had me facing away from the mirror and herself, so I couldn't see what she was doing. I felt she started thinning out my hair in the front/sides of my head. I told her not to thin out my hair. Last, she proceeded to take the cape out and told me to leave, which I agreed with her and told her that she didn't know what she was doing. Omg, I can't believe what happened here. I needed a haircut before I got onto my flight with my sister in a week. I called to set up an appointment and a lady answered, I believe her name was Tamika. She answered the phone and sounded very rude, I didn't think anything of it, just thought she was busy. She rudely asked for my phone number of the last 4 digits, I don't know what you're gunna do with only the last four digits so I proceed to say (941) and she cut me off lightly yelled and asked for the last 4 digits... to which I gave her. I set up an appointment at 4 o clock I went in early and sat down with my sister. We got checked in and the lady who cut my hair I believe her name is Amanda, was cutting a young mans hair and it was SO BAD!! He had hair missing, he had some bald spots, it's clear he wanted a fade. AGAIN I didn't think anything of it, it is harder to cut mens hair than women, but it was the WORST I've ever seen! Now it's our turn and Amanda shampooed my hair, which was the only nice thing about this whole experience! I sat down in the chair and I provided a reference picture OF ME from a previous haircut. She explains she can do this, (it was a bob without an A line, meaning it's straight) she's cutting my hair and it's okay, until I saw the awful layers, she then took a razor to my hair pulled it up and cut random chinch's from my hair, I've had this done so I'm okay with it but I didn't see it until later on. The whole time she wa scuttling my hair she was telling me she had kids, she had a place to stay, but was homeless, but could live wherever she wanted. She yelled at some homeless guy outside the side to "get on!" SO GHETTO the place looked very nice though. This was HANDS DOWN the worst place to go! read more

I went to get my hair cut into a lob as I decided to grow out my fade and determined this would be the best camouflage to hide the short sides while they grew in. I don't know who the lady was who cut my hair, but all she did was say this isn't going to work with your hair. I told her I know I have fine hair but I've had this cut before and it looks good on me and will hide my fade growing in. she argued the entire cut and begrudgingly did what I asked and it turned out almost like I wanted. she left it too long in the back but at that point I was so tired of hearing her say this was not going to work. My husband and one of my kids stopped by this Supercuts while we were visiting family in Florida. The haircuts were good, and the stylist was friendly. The only negative part of the experience was the payment. Somehow my husband accidently punched $60 instead of $6 into the credit card machine as a tip. He ended up paying $99 for two haircuts and didn't realize it. I only noticed when I was looking over our credit card statement. The area manager was nice and offered to refund the tip, but we need to come in person with our credit card. Since we're not from the area, that's not possible. So, this will just have to be our most expensive "cheap" haircut ever. If you go to this Supercuts (or maybe any Supercuts), check your receipt carefully to make sure you're paying what you expect. read more

Beware: I took Micah to super cuts the 20th of Oct. They had a girl from another store. I guess Ibis plaza store Roosevelt Blvd working for hours in this store on Park Blvd and Belcher rd. Micah being Micah was talking her ear off and she looked none to pleased. We left after getting home we noticed about 20 cuts on the back of his neck. We asked Micah about it. He said the hair stylist did it. I said did you tell her she was hurting you. He said i said ow and she say sorry. You know what? The 2nd ow you stop. You do not keep cutting him if its an accident. I called and complained and then talked to the girl in the Ibis on Roosevelt Blvd Clearwater i believe and she said she liked my grandson. He did not bug her and was sorry. 2 nicks possibly around 20? Then she said i was in a bad mood which was a total lie as i was laughing it up with the girl cutting my hair. Besides what does that have to do with all those cuts you left on his neck. That's your excuse???? I called the girl who cuts my hair and told her the excuse Liz gave me and asked her at anytime was i mad or rude. As if that was a reason to cut him. She would not answer. Can we see where this is going I would never ever go to super cuts again. read more

Although I have long hair, mostly I just request a trim, so I don't feel like I expect too much when it comes to a haircut. At the same time, it's rare for me to find a stylist who truly "gets" my hair and gives me the style I really want. Today, I definitely found my new stylist. Ashley was kind and knowledgeable. She listened to what I wanted, and delivered beyond what I expected. I am thrilled with my haircut. It suits my hair type and perfectly frames my face. She clearly knew techniques that would ensure my hair has life & body. I lucked out, because apparently Ashley doesn't usually work Saturdays, but I will definitely make an appointment next time for a day she is in. I don't normally go to places like this, and now I remember why. I think her name was Tamika? Anyway, it seemed alright when I was there but I could tell she rushed through it. She didn't even do my hairline in the back, my partner had to tell me there's a patch of long hair on my neck. When I got home, showered and dried my hair, there were uneven spots everywhere and I ended up having to get out my own clipper set to try to salvage the mess she made of it. I will never be returning to this shop or any other chain like this. The worst part is that it isn't even cheaper to go here than it would be to go to a more reputable shop. Sucks. Asked for a blend to clean up the sides and top, she literally cut off all my hair. Extremely too short on top and now my hair looks dumb. Not to mention the girl kept making comments to her co-workers how she didn't care about much since it was her last day. I saw all the great reviews for Jason so I went for a haircut. His cutting area and combs where not sanitary and made me uncomfortable. He did charge me the price for a shampoo and cut but did not shampoo my hair He was chatty and nice enough. When I got home I washed and conditioned my hair when I combed it out I could see that he had missed areas and my hair was uneven in the front so much so that I had to have it corrected somewhere else. read more
