I was really really bored with my hair. You can see a version of it in my profile pic. Straight,…read moreblunt cut, originally chin level when I lopped off a ponytail for one of those donation sites, it had grown out to my shoulders and because my hair has a lot of natural body and some wave and curl to it, I was getting a very triangular shape. I had no idea what to do with it, other than grow it out again, but I was tired of that cycle, too, since I've done it several times in the past decade. It's also going pretty grey in spots and I'm not sure another 'tail would work for those wig organizations because of that. I needed someone to just make a decision about my hair and cut it. I didn't care what the results were, what the style was, anything at all. I just needed something different. My husband half-jokingly suggested I take his clippers, buy some gel and go for the Annie Lennox look and I was actually OK with that. Christina took on the challenge. She chose a layered look that is both blowdryer and product-optional (YAY!). It's fabulous, super easy to take care of and suits me well! I would have never thought of layers and I'm glad she chose this cut.

Do not go here for a perm:…read more I wanted a perm that would give me large curls, more of a "body wave." I called before arrival to ensure that they would be able to do this. They told me they have all different sizes of rollers and would definitely be able to do this. I restated that I wanted large curls, not tight spiral ringlets to the stylist. Long story short, I walked out looking like Felicity or a poodle. Very unhappy. I should've said more when I was there about my disappointment, but just wanted to get out of there.

I got a partial foil, wash and blow out and I found the pricing extremely fair. We chatted like we were old friends and the space was clean and inviting. I ended up rebooking because she is much closer than my long time stylist and I loved my blonde she did. She's a newer stylist I believe but for blonde highlights on thick/regular hair like mine I would DEFINITELY recommend her. I will update after my haircut next time. I was going to a wedding that night and she offered to throw curls in for free but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go straight or curly so I declined but her blow out was really good and it was nice she offered.

My hair was literally SMOKING because of whatever chemicals they decided to use. My scalp feels like it has multiple cigarette burns... And the worst part is that after I spent seven hours there my hair, which was supposed to be blonde, is nothing more than a rats nest of gray! GRAY! It took three people 15 minutes to comb through my hair that was saturated in conditioner. It normally takes me less than two minutes. My hair is now brittle and broken. To top things off the owner had the audacity to charge me more for this mess than what I paid before! She wanted me to pay $230 when I paid $200 and it included a haircut last time. The hairdresser had the audacity to tell me that my hair was Orange, which is why it turned gray. It was definitely not orange and I hadn't touched my hair since the last time I went to this same salon back in March. I used their products. The owner's response to my hair smoking was that it was normal! Never in my life have I ever had my hair nearly catch fire from coloring it. I walked out. I will definitely never be back! I now have to face my clients with gray hair and I go on vacation in two days!

All of this, after looking at their prices. I realized the price was not fair as it said "12 dollars up to 15 dollars for kids 0-12 of age, but it was posted as that so I went to check it out. Once done, I was charged 30 dollars for a 10minute cut. I asked about it, they said the price was 25 years old and it was incorrect. Last I checked, if the price is incorrect they should let costumers know, it was of no fault of my own. I explained to the owner the situation she said I was wrong and that was for another salon, should her the address, and even the picture of the outside of the place. She didn't know how to respond, and walked to the back of the Establishment. They charged my card for 30 dollars, and gave me back a 5 dollar discount in cash. Gave back the money and Let them keep the 5 dollars. Not sure I'd go back. Even thought the actual hair cut was good, but it felt like I was been robbed and the owner did not care at all. Just walked away and expected me to be ok with it. If you go there you might be pleased with the results, just make sure you ask the price before you have anything done. Don't believe prices you see written anywhere online or on the door. 2 stars because I was ok with the hair cut, but I could have gotten that somewhere else as well.
