I was completely satisfied with all of the girls' hair. Everyone looked gorgeous. And, as the bride, I have to say that I was also completely satisfied with my hair. I told Charlie what I wanted, and he delivered. I absolutely loved my hair. The prices were completely reasonable as well. $65 for all of the up-dos, including mine. The salon was also a great place to have the large number of girls I had in my wedding party. In total, there were 12 of us there. The place fit us quite easily as it is very large. They had no problem with the entourage of girls hanging out in the place, either. They were very welcoming. I would highly recommend this salon for any big event.

I'm a bit of a hippie - I get a haircut when I have a reason to...not every six weeks or whatever. This hasn't fazed Jackie either time I've been there, even though it's probably more work for her. In fact when I was looking for inspo looks last night, I realized the best was the photo of the last haircut she gave me a year ago! In which she asked what I wanted, considered how I could best achieve that given my style-at-home habits (nonexistent, btw) and made me feel comfortable and confident deferring to her expert opinion. I also appreciate how she doesn't try to sell me on products. She suggests, but I genuinely believe it comes from a good place - example, I told her I was into all-natural stuff, like my botched coconut oil experiment, and she didn't poo-poo it. I asked her for some guidance on products and she showed me some of the natural lines the salon carries but it was no pressure, she genuinely wanted to help. I swear if I ever get recommended a Japanese hair gloss again for my already fine hair I'm swearing off hair salons forever...luckily I won't have to because Jackie would never do that! Restoring my faith in salons lol Allure is so affordable too...$44 for a wash, cut, and style (*tip your stylist). I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure you can't beat that! I walked in feeling and looking like a washed up dollar bill...and left feeling like a million bucks! Not just from the cut, but from Jackie's energy. Very pure and uplifting. The inside is definitely a lot nicer and something you wouldn't expect from seeing the outside for sure. I'm pretty picky when it comes to hair, but what girl isn't. Carmen was awesome. She thoroughly explained every step she made and did suggestions on hair products that i could get to maintain my hair. She definitely lightened my hair as much as possible without destroying it. My hair is literally black by the way, so to go blonde as she did without completely destroying it in one sitting is impressive. Goal is eventually a grey color but had to go blonde first, the balayage she did looks amazing. Honestly if I wasn't planning on going grey for the winter I would be so happy keeping my balayage as is. Honestly I don't think pricing was that bad, I personally think that it's reasonable for what she did. Balayage prices start at 65 but honestly I've paid more and it doesn't come out as great. So I'd have to say pricing is reasonable. Can't wait to return for the final look in two weeks.
