Genuinely so sad, should have trusted the bad reviews on here. Carmen sat me down at a dirty station that had obviously not been cleaned up from the last client. Hair and equipment all over the place. She barely sprayed some water in my hair and proceeded to rip through knots in my ends. Didn't ask me what side I parted my hair on usually, didn't put any product of any kind in my hair, and when she did the face framing, she left me with blunt edges that made me want to cry. Edited: she didn't show me my layers in the back but when I got home and looked it's worse than the front. I never should have gone here or paid for her to ruin my hair! I walked out googling a salon near by to fix her work and everything was closed. I would have asked her to fix it but I didn't trust her skills or abilities. I added photos and I can't believe she finished the framing and said "perfect." That really nailed it in that she didn't know what she was doing. read more

Certified building. Really chill staff. Unfortunately, my hair doesn't grow and stays the same length no matter what, so I've never had to get a haircut here, but I enjoy the ambiance and hanging out here. My partner is growing his hair out - for now! It is getting a bit out of control, but that is a conversation for a different day. Lol! read more

This is the worst place I have ever been to in my entire life. I asked for the picture on the left... I got the picture on the right. The manager was so rude from the start. She gave me a price at the beginning in hopes it would be too expensive for me. When I said yes, she got meaner and gave me attitude the entire time. I knew I should have left right away, but I wanted to give the other woman the benefit of the doubt, but clearly she had no idea how to do a balayage. Once they were done, I was in shock and just wanted to get out of there. The next day I went to a different salon and chopped it off to be a little higher than my shoulders. We've been going to Supercuts in Chatham for over a year now. The stylists are beyond fabulous with our three boys. They're patient and kind and give awesome cuts! Now during covid I feel very safe bringing them there. They do temperature checks and screening on phone and upon arrival. I highly recommend taking your family here!! read more

Rude staff. No greetings or exchange of words when we got in. After she was done with the customer she asked if we had an appointment and only at that point (about 10 minutes) she says she has two more appointments and 'she was done for the night'. When we suggested that she should greet and inform availability whenever a customer enters, as opposed to keep them waiting for her royal announcement 10 minutes later, she kept on saying 'thank you' in a tone full of sarcasm! Tired of paying $60-$100 for a simple trim, I decided to check this place out. I was apprehensive since most of the reviews are from men but decided to check it out myself. Best $20 hair cut a girl would ask for! I paid he extra $5 for the wash and got a simple trim. I have been to this Supercuts many times, as have many of my friends and have had great service. Regrettably this was not one of those times. As background, I recently had surgery on my shoulder and cannot move well enough to wash my hair. I also admittedly have thick curly hair, nothing I can do about that. Went in today to this location for a wash and blowout (as an aside did the same at the Rockaway location a couple days ago and had a great experience). It was one of my worst salon services ever. I let the stylist know about my shoulder and to be gentle. Obviously she got frustrated with my hair during my appointment and that's when things fell apart. I got scratched in the face, poked in the eye three times, and lost track of the times she brushed my shoulder a little too hard. I didn't have this issue with my previous appointment. I understand that my hair is difficult I am willing to tip for the difference and the added effort. But not when this stylist seemed to have no regard to my personal space. And I could tell she was upset about my hair texture, which is not my problem. On top of that this service was $42 in Morristown versus the $22 I paid in Rockaway (rent costs I'm sure). But this was truly the worst experience I have ever hard and I don't think I'll be going back to this location anytime soon. Please tell your stylists to be a little more careful. Those with thick hair deserve just as good service, even if our hair is more difficult to manage. I left tired and upset. read more

I just has a really bad experience at the Morristown Supercuts that I'd like to warn people about. I made an appointment online and went to Supercuts at the designated time. The minute I walked in, the stylist flatly said, "it's gonna be at least 30 minutes". She had just seated a walk in at my appointment time....a woman with long hair which takes a long time. No apology, no explanation. The Web site says, "there may be a small wait when you arrive." I told her I didn't think 30+ minutes was a small wait. She didn't like that and started at me. The woman in the chair saw what had happened and got up and left because she was made so uncomfortable by the stylist. When I was seated, the stylist berated me the whole time she was cutting my hair in front of the whole salon. She finished by saying, "if you don't like the way Supercuts is run, you should go somewhere else." I'm an elderly gentleman and have never been treated in such a rude and unprofessional manner. She listens and makes sure to adapt to clients and is super attentive and wonderful. I recently came back to NJ after waiting a whole year to get a haircut during the pandemic and she just changed my whole look to this super chic cut. She knows how to modify a cut to a face structure and I am so confident when I get a haircut by her. I absolutely recommend Melanie to everyone, plus she is very nice and friendly. You know, the first time I went into Supercuts of Morristown about 4 years ago, I wasn't sure what to think. I'm a black man and I wasn't sure if they knew how to do black coarse hair to cut. Long story short, I became fond of Supercuts treating my hair and their friendly service, I went there like every 6-9 months. One day this past April, I was getting my hair cut by, I believe her name was, Melinda (I accidentally lost the receipt with her name on it). The woman never touched a clipper, she cut my entire mini afro-sized hair all with a pair of scissors. End result, my hair was totally uneven. She did tell me that I had split ends. Does that mean you can't use a clipper to evenly cut my hair? I done with Supercuts now. Tired of shopping around for the perfect Supercuts (I've already dissed the one in Boonton, NJ). It was has been ten years since I let other people cut my hair. This is a super fast cut. There was no long line waiting and folks in and out super quickly. After three minutes of sitting, I was called. The lady (aka the stylist) was OK but I don't think she wanted further communication with guys like me. Unfortunately you mostly have to go twice... once to get a "haircut" and a second time to get it fixed... Especially in this place it really matters who cuts your hair, stay away from the younger employes, they definitely need a lot more practice. Great location, but that's where the great ended. Brought my long haired 11 year old in for a trim. Even after asking the young lady to take more off the sides, he looks the same as when I brought him in.
