The owner of this business on Flamingo next to Smiths had better smarten up. 3 rd price increase in effect today Father's Day when I showed up for my appointment AND I DIDNT KNOW UNTIL WE WERE DONE. My longtime stylist, years actually, told me AFTER we were done. She and another worker told me about other customers that were pissed with increase. It is ridiculous in today's day and age that people who work in a guest service jobs don't understand the power of good guest services. Let's take this place for example. It's Saturday at 5pm. I walk into the store and he two ladies working are too busy to do much as look up and say hello. They don't say, please sign in on the iPad and we'll be right with you. Nope. They simply continue taking care of the people they are working on and completely ignoring walk ins. I sign in anyway. As I'm sitting there waiting to be called, I was third in line btw, another woman walks in Who is less tech savvy and stands there for several minutes, all while being ignored by the two employees. After several minutes she says out loud, "Hello?!? Welcome to Supercuts!" Absolutely zero response from the two employees. She again says out loud, "excuse me, I need to give you my name." Now instead of either of the two people working saying, please sign in on the pad and they will call you in turn... nope, the elder lady mumbles something along the line, I'll get your name in a few minutes when I'm done. The customer leaves, I don't know if she returned or not. After a couple of minutes, the same older woman comes to the front since her customer was done and verified who we all are asking me my name. She says it'll be a few minutes because I'm third in line. I ask if I can run next door and do my grocery shopping then. She then says, sure, just be back by 6 because that's when we close. It is now 5:15 and I head next door to Smith's. It takes me about 20 minutes to pick up what I needed, pay for it and put it into my motorcycle. So at about 5:35 I walk back over to get my hair cut. I walk in, the lady is gone, my name is gone and the one person left doing hair is taking absolutely zero responsibility for what happened. I even asked her, I told her I was going be next door to shop, what more do I need you do your job? No apology, no attempt to say we'll get you next... nothing. Just a lame excuse of I don't know what happened. So, I started to put my name in again and about half way said, nope, no way! I erased my name and walked out. Honestly, these ladies are in essence independent contractors. They shouldn't be mindless robots doing a mindless job, but, building a client base and building their own company. Most people I know are loyal to their hair stylist and not the store they work at. If these two ladies don't know that and the owner isn't emphasizing it, then this is NOT a place you want to get your hair cut. It all starts with pride in self and pride in a job well done. Ignoring customers and deflecting blame achieve neither! Do yourself the favor and stay away from this place. Obviously they don't care about anything related to doing their job. read more

I love this Supercuts! I have Megan who comes from a high end salon. She is truly an artist when it comes to hair, and is a knowledgeable artist creating beautiful hair colors. I love mine many colors. Purple, blonde, pink, and Megan gets it exactly how I want my hair. While I am having my hair foiled, so many come in for quick haircuts. The person has 2 months experience, could not wash correctly, nor cut hair, nor style. This fiasco took the better part of 2 hours. Additionally, while the others were just standing around one of them was smoking in there. On the floor, not 8 feet from customers. Out in the open. read more

I don't recommend coming to this salon. My daugther asked for balayage and a particular hair color picture. My daughter showed them the photo as reference and they agreed to it. After the session, my daughter's hair were falling apart, and the color outcome was far from what was in the photo. The stylist then said that we can come back after 2 weeks for another session for an additional cost to achieve the color my daughter wants. I just don't understand why they would even touch my daughter's hair if they can't achieve what was agreed upon to begin with. And not only that, they let my daughter step out of the salon with SOAKING WET HAIR!! I am not asking them to STYLE the hair but atleast DRY the messy-colored hair! She kept calling my daughter a bad girl when she would move and when she asked for help to brush my daughters hair no one wanted to help. Brenna is now my personal hair stylist. I have been looking for someone who can do my hair right for a very long time and this is now my go to spot. This location is a little out of my way but worth the trip. I went here on a whim while in the neighborhood and I had some extra time on my hands. I was quickly and graciously seated by Brenna. She is an absolute angel. She took her time with my haircut and it never felt rushed. She cut my hair exactly to my specifications and even walked me through the haircut to make some suggestions based on my hair to make sure I was happy. I can finally say I have a hairstylist who is both knowledgeable and talented. I don't know about some of these negative reviews, This location seems both professional and friendly based on the times I've been here. I will definitely be back. This Supercuts is located next door to a Smiths. On the back of the Smiths receipts are generally coupons to get haircuts for $10.99, which is what usually brings me into this location. When I went for my haircut today, I forgot my coupon at home. When the stylist called me up, I let her know I had forgotten the coupon and asked if I needed to go get it first. She told me, "we don't do those anymore." I said, "Oh, maybe it was an old one that expired." She said "yeah" and I walked out the door. I was a little bothered by this, because she made me feel like either I was dumb or making it up to try to get a discounted price. I also don't understand businesses that let customers walk away when they're ready to spend money. I get a quick five minute clipper cut and always tip $5 for it. So that's $16 for a few minutes of work. It's hardly worth that, but definitely not worth the full $15 price plus $5 tip. So they already let $16 go for this visit, and ensured I won't be getting my monthly haircut there anymore. Once I got home, I retrieved my coupon which doesn't expire for two more weeks, and went back to politely show her. No apology, just "okay we'll take that one." I told her no thank you, that's okay, that I just wanted to show her. If she'd have just said from the beginning, "yes, we need a valid coupon to honor that price," I'd have gone home and got it, and there would have been no issue. I will not be back. read more

This is one of those reviews where I wish I could give it 0 stars because I'm never going to return nor am I going to refer people to this local Supercuts. I called at 11 to make an appointment for a cut and color today. I asked if there was something in the afternoon the girl said no and then she said 4 o'clock which I thought isn't that in the afternoon? I said that will be fine she asked me my name but didn't ask for my phone number I had to offer it so I thought that was odd. I arrived 10 mins early for my 4 o'clock appointment at which time the girl said" I tried to call you and I left a message saying I needed you to come in earlier" which by the way I could not have done. Silence. I said I need to do some grocery shopping what time should I come back and she replied she had to leave at 4:30 and her partner has an appointment at 5. Silence. I asked how late you take customers and she replied 2 hours before they close. Silence. What time do you close I asked --but I really wanted to scream it in her face- she replied seven. So basically I had to do all the thinking for her because she couldn't cut hair and talk or think at the same time! She finally offered that I should come back tomorrow and I said I can't come back tomorrow. I'm here today & you said you had time. this is a new location and they hired people with poor time management and who knows what's lack of skill they have with hair cutting! The best cut I have EVER had for $30 since it is ala carte $15 haircut, $5 shampoo and $10 blowdry. Had my haircut here yesterday. The place appears clean and the wait is less than 30 minutes. I'm unsatisfied with the haircut. The length is obviously uneven. Left side is obviously WAY longer than the right. She cuts my hair without looking going in front of me not go to my left side: I'm kinda amazes me that she cuts my hair maintaining her stance on my right and back side the whole time while I maintain still on my sit position. It explains why left is much longer than the right since she disregard the symmetrical aspect. Haircut $14 + $5 ( undeserved ) tip= wasted time and unhappy/feeling ugly customer. read more
