If I could give zero stars, I would. I walked in hopeful and walked out looking like I lost a bet. I asked for soft layers and a trim--what I got was a choppy disaster that looks like it was done with garden shears. Karina barely listened, rushed through everything, and acted like she was doing me a favor by even being there. I asked for warm caramel and got something between brassy orange and regret. Oh, and let's not forget the attitude--eye rolls, side glances, and not a single smile the entire time. I paid salon prices for results that belong in a DIY horror story. Haven't cut/trimmed my hair in almost five years. Walked in on a Monday from out of town. Explained what I wanted, and that I was nervous because it's been so long since I've touched my hair. I red so many good reviews about this place and that's why I came With my wife So the hairstylist Sergio Liverpool he charged 300$ futon her and it was nice After she showered her hair was messed up and next morning she got skin rashes she called this hairstylist he said don't worry please come back After few days he gave another day to come back when she go over there he just changed her hair color Come on sergio if she need to change the hair color it maybe lesser than 100$ you charged us 300$ and distroyed her hair using too much bleach So she lost her hair and the money What a hairstylist you are man ?? Finding the perfect hairstylist/salon can require a few trial and errors and a whole lot of frustration -- believe me, I've been there. There are two hairstylists here that I've gone to and both know what's up when it comes to achieving ashy blondes and gloomy greys: BRENDA and AIMEE. What's cool is that they both dye each other's hair, too. Twinsies with trust! On my first visit, I went to Brenda to get rid of my brassy blonde I'd acquired from another stylist at a different salon. Brenda was friendly, listened to exactly what I wanted done, and took her time in executing it. I remember I was there about 5 hours. She would work on another client in between my processing time, so that lent to some of the delay, but overall I was happy with the ashiness and blondness. The second time around, I decided to go with Aimee for a smokey grey look. I still had shoulder-length hair, but the rate she gave me was significantly less than Brenda's rate. I was thrilled that it was more within my budget! She too was friendly, offering me water or soda... or wine. Yes wine! She took her time, alternating her work on me and another client, and I was out in under 4 hours. She did a trim and styled it as well in time for my birthday events. Aimee also gave me the heads-up about going in for a cheaper alternative next time (toning), which none of my previous stylists ever mentioned. Thanks Aimee! I'll be back soon! read more

I went in wanting a jet black to silver/white ombre but i came out with a completely different hair color. She talked me out of doing the black saying it was easier to maintain (i think she was on a time crunch) by the end of it She knew it wasn't what i wanted and suggested a purple shampoo. The under of my hair was already bleached but used the same volume for my whole head which lead other parts not to bleach. I want to cry so bad because this is nothing what i wanted beside the light white parts at the bottom of my hair but she said this a she could do and that my hair was a challenge. read more

This is the way a salon should be run. I had the man's VIP service and that's what I got. I was greeted with cold water, then my haircut by Tammy who was awesome, then led over to the washing area for a hair wash, face massage, hot towel and 2 other ladies came out and massaged my hands and arms. perfectly orchestrated and professional. The salon was professional, clean and quiet and relaxing. Later I got an emergency call from my wife as she was at a different salon and they ruined her hair, i quickly called Divas and asked the owner if she would take my wife as it was an emergency. She told us to come over and it was 9pm on a Friday night. Well my wife walked in in tears and left 3 hours later all smiles. Yes Divas stayed open till midnight for me!!! Just found Vegas' best kept secret for hair! Found them on Groupon and they had a great deal on a blowout. I do have a regular salon and stylist that do this, but needed it done on a Monday when most salons are closed. Bonus point +1. Headed over, not that far from my house, and even if it was, the deal was too awesome to pass up. Walked into a cutesy salon with nice washing and styling stations (separate). I was greeted by a really cute girl, Aimee, and with no waiting got down to doing my fab blowout! My hair had been keratined to death so it was super straight, but Aimee had zero problem getting volume out of it. At the end of it I wanted a little more curl on the end and she took a curling iron to it and made it all better. I walked out feeling super fabulous! I will be using her again, this salon is HALF the price of my regular salon! I can now get my hair blown out more because it's so much more affordable! I'm leaving 2 stars only because I hate leaving 1 for anything. This has to be my worst hair experience in all of my 37 years on the Earth! Back story...visiting Vegas for a couple weeks, my pixie cut has grown out to an ugly, shaggy shape, need a refresh. I called Divas at 1:25 on a Saturday afternoon to inquire about walk-ins, girl says they are really busy. Ok, cool, I ask about soonest appt, she says let me see if someone can take you. She comes back and tells me a girl can take me at 2. Sweet, right? I go in, a young woman greets me at the counter with "are you here for the 2 o'clock appt?". I smile and say "yes" because at this point I am still hopeful. She directs me to a chair and I sit. She runs her hands through my hair a few times and asks what I want. I tell her I had a pixie and it has grown out and I need it redone. Blank stare. Brenda, "do you have a picture of what it looked like before?". I do not, but quickly pull up a photo from the Internet of a perfectly simple standard pixie. She said she had to go talk to someone and disappears for a few minutes. Upon her return she starts chopping at the back of my head, kind of aggressively, actually. Then, she becomes completely engrossed in a conversation with a woman that had come in as she is cutting my hair. After at least a 5+ minute intense conversation her friend leaves. She then explains it is her birthday and her friends are setting up her house for her. Um, Ok, is this why I feel like I've interrupted your day? Is this why you seem annoyed that YOU took my appt? I didn't insist on an appt, mind you, I merely casually inquired. Anyway, insert more chopping, texturizing shears come out, electric razor comes out. I'm thinking it may be good. She doesn't even talk to me or ask me a single thing about how it's normally done. (Based on her technique, she has never done a pixie) I look in the mirror at the end as she asks how I style it. I tell her how I style, she styles it into some sort of bangs and I scrape it back out of the bangs into a traditional side swept pixie style. Whatever. I'll fix it at home. I pay and I leave. I get to the car. The sides seem a bit odd and poufy. As I stop at lights, I look at it. The sides by my ears were barely even trimmed. I have no idea if this was her first ever short cut, but holy hell is it bad! I came straight home to fix it with my own texturizing razor. My husband had to fix the back of my neck because she left it all fuzzy. Seriously, if you want anything more than a trim, perhaps, look elsewhere. Awful. read more

I live in Los Angeles and am super addicted to Drybar, the salon that only does blow outs. So when I came to Vegas I wanted to find the nearest salon to wash and blow dry my hair. I found a groupon for a blowout for $12. Totally had to try it. I was approached by Tammy and she took me back to wash my hair and give me the BEST scalp massage ever. She then blew my hair dry just as I asked. She was so super sweet and the easiest person to talk to. I loved her. I would go back to Tammy anytime. She was confident and very professional. On another note... My friend had her hair dried by Sergio and her experience was awful. Thinking maybe he is just starting an has no experience. He was very rough and she even tried to explain that it was painful, and he just continued to pull and pull and pull. It was awful. We explained that there was a problem and that it hurt and he just got more and more mad and rough. **Always ask for Tammy she is awesome! Only 4 stars because of my friends experience and the fact that Drybar has me spoiled with mimosa's and the atmosphere is unreal. read more

My boyfriend wanted to give his mom something different this year for Mother's Day so we went with a hair make-over! So I went on yelp and came across this page I called and their receptionist was super helpful and was able to book us for an appointment that same day. We rushed over my mother in law and Karina explained everything from the products they use and the reason for the price which was $250, many will think pricey but honestly you have to pay for quality and my gut instinct was telling me YESSS she should def go for it! Of course my mother in law was nervous since she had virgin hair, BUT OMGEEE SHE LOVED IT!!!! & WE LOVED IT!!! We dropped her off around 2 ish and picked her up by 5pm. The results were AMZINGGGG Korina & Karina know what the hell they're doing!!! You can certainly tell that they have many years of experience/ dedication in their career and they looove what they do!! My Mother in law felt in love with the results and felt very comfortable with them they spoke English and Spanish so that was a major PLUS!!! My mother in law will be coming more often to this salon from now on and I don't even live in Nevada shoot.. definitely will be bringing myself and mom when we come and visit from California.
