Now here is a gem! I have lived in Katy 16 years and never noticed this Supercuts. As a qualifier, I'm not a big hair person. I grew up in the 60s in a hippie town. The idea was to either get a buzz cut to not be one of them or just let your hair grow, and grow, with no cares for where it goes. As kids, we all begged our moms to let our hair grow but with limited success. Now that I'm older, a buzz is best because it offers the freedom of doing nothing with your hair in the morning. Still, I need to get that No. 2 somehow and don't like waiting. Now I know that there is a Supercuts in the Target plaza! The ladies working here were a lot of fun. We chatted and seemed to cover a lot of ground in the short time I was here. So now I have my new place for that buzzzzz! read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Just moved to Katy and am a person of color. There are very few hair salons in the area that cater to our hair type but my daughter desperately needed her hair cut. So I went through the painstaking process of straightening her hair so that we could go to one of the local salons and get her hair cut. The Latina woman was exceptionally rude. I tried to explain to her that I wanted my daughters dead ends trimmed and the first thing that came out of her mouth is that they don't "deal with" your texture of hair. I asked her if she could just give her a cut which is why her hair was straightened to make it easier. She had a huge attitude with me, was incredible impatient and unwelcoming. It was clear that we were not welcomed patrons and I am really truly disheartened by this awful experience. The obnoxious way we were spoken to was so out of line! read more

I came here for the first time and I will never come back. I specifically said to not cut my hair to my shoulders and that's exactly what she did. I absolutely hate my hair and how short it is. All I asked for was a simple trim with a few inches off and she did not follow directions. I'm not sure what her name is but I will not be coming back. read more

Went in with my 3 year old and my 4 month old. Told the lady when I got in after making my appointment online that I was getting both their hair cut. She cut my oldest sons hair no problem. All the while I'm sitting thief with my younger son who became hungry so I was feeding him and told the lady to go ahead with someone else we would cut my youngest son after that. 45 minutes later she then tells me She could not cut his hair. The other lady pipes up "we are not supposed to cut hair when they are that small". WHY DID YOU WAIT 45 minutes to tell me that. You saw how old he was when I walked in and the entire time I was sitting there. Complete waste of my time waiting when they could have told me up front they could not do it. read more

I went to CJ at Supercuts for the first time with my curly hair. He layered it and did a great job. He's very laid back and doesn't push dyes, highlights or straightening like other hairdressers. He actually encouraged me to grow out the grey. Highly recommend CJ. read more

Getting your haircut hear is typical of any Supercuts haircut, but they have one process (and tool) in place that's fairly broken and makes customers feel bad before they even sit down. That's the signing in process. They use a computer tablet for you to sign in. You tap the onscreen keyboard to enter in your details. The onscreen keyboard is not sensitive enough to pick up your entries. All entries are checked against their database, so a typo means you try again until you get it right. You can't reasonably opt out -- the require your name, email address, and phone number. After trying several times, I asked about just getting a haircut without completing the assigned task, and the employee explained that they needed my email and phone number so they could know what products to suggest and how long it had been since my last haircut. She did reluctantly let me through without entering everything, but I could tell this wasn't what they preferred (and she didn't do so for other customers who were having the same problem). From a customer viewpoint, the tablet isn't an improvement over, say, a piece of paper on a clipboard or even just getting a ticket with a number to show where you are in line. It causes problems for: - People who don't want to share their email or phone number. - People who cannot physically stand to get to the tablet, which is on a high table. - People with arthritis, tremor, other other problems with their hands. - People who cannot see well enough to make out the text on the poorly backlit tablet. - People who transpose their letters and numbers frequently. - People without the patience of Job, who really can't see trying and failing again and again to make the touchpad work correctly. On the plus side, I guesss, I learned that if you can talk the haircutter into passing you through without logging in, the system thinks you're a new customer and after you pay your receipt gives you a few bucks off your next haircut. You probably have to log in to get it, though. I believe Fantastic Sam's and TGF Hair Salon don't have this issue. read more

I would never go back to that place. The ladies that works there are not nice. The lady call Esmeralda I went with my little brother and she was not the nicest person so I went back with my autistic son and made an appointment with someone else hoping that the other lady call Flor was going to be nicer but that didn't happen. My son was crying and just like that without even trying she was rude and said that she can't do his hair cut if he's crying and I get it if my son was crying it's hard to do his hair cut but is more the attitude what it got me, she was not nice at all just like other places that work with kids they try to make it works she was not even trying and I know it can be hard to do a haircut to an autistic kid but again is the attitude the poor costumer service and their face expression making you feel uncomfortable there. The only reason I went there is because I recently moved to Katy and I've been trying to find a place to do my son and brother haircut but definitely I'M NOT COMING BACK THERE If I could give 0 star to this place I WOULD !!! read more

I went in for a cut soon after the Texas reopening after coronavirus lockdown. Seeing as this was one of the only places open near me where I could finally cut my hair I decided to go. When I tell you that the person who cut my hair was inexperienced, I mean that she was being watched the entire time by another worker and had to constantly get help. I told them exactly how my hair behaved and told them how it should be cut and the women cutting my hair must have not understood a word because she did almost the opposite of what I told her to do and just buzzed most of my hair off. After the other person came to help and explained in what she should do, the one cutting my hair started on the top and I figured, well it isn't exactly what I wanted but it doesn't look that bad (from the front). Until I left and checked the back and boy was it bad. I guess she realized it was bad too and avoided showing me the back. I forgot as well which is partly my issue as well. Overall, I left with a bad haircut by someone who obviously didn't know what they were doing. Eventually I just said it's enough and left before they could do anymore damage. read more

I used to go to this store have my hair cut with stylist Flor she was actually very good and I became a regular only because of her then one time she was not there and I needed a hair cut so I to work with stylist Esmeralda who was OK but I was still more comfortable with Flor as she knew who to work with my hair better. Apparently Esmeralda is the manager at this store and she obviously bullies the rest of stylists there. Next time I went there for haircut after I checked that Flor is there and available at the store and when i arrived there she saw me and refused to give me a haircut telling me that if she did that Esmeralda will put her into trouble, I explained to her that O only worked with Esmeralda once because you were not here, she called her in the phone and came back telling me Esmeralda told her if she gave me a haircut she will put her into trouble. This made me so furious and I wanted to reach out to anyone in this Supercuts company if there is anybody cares because what's happening at this store is unacceptable and somebody has to stop it. I went to Sport Clip store at La Centara and they appeared to be extremely professional not like those thugs at Supercuts. I used to be a very happy customer once at Supercuts but after I dealt with Esmeralda and what she does to her crew at the store, I never want to go back to this place again. You can confirm my story, it happened October 24th or 25 of 2019 and that was my worst experience I have ever had at any retail store. I'm the type, like many others, that wants to find a great place for my cut and color and stick with it. I found just that here! Victoria is amazing. I not only love how she cuts my hair but her personality just shines. I have very thick hair and wear it very short and she knows just the perfect way to cut it and take the weight off. The new owner runs a great shop. The ones before, not so much. I had gone there under the old management and waited over an hour and a half because they kept taking their friends that had called in! I left vowing never to return. But when I heard it was under new management, I thought I would try it and I'm so glad I did! Thank you Victoria for my sassy haircut. read more

Mexican lady barely speaks English, I am sure she is not even licensed to cut hair ; chopped my hair up, didn't take the time to see the length or make it looked good, Kept telling me don't worry it will look good, didn't even listen to what I wanted, probably was high or something, moved real slow, this place is terrible , poor customer service and everybody is speaking Spanish left and right, it's like we are in Mexico not in the us, poor customer service, complaining doesn't even get the job done read more
