I came here with my sister, who has been a loyal customer for over two years, and unfortunately, our most recent visit left a bad impression due to the unprofessional behavior of one of your stylists. As small business owners ourselves, we know how important it is to treat customers with respect--especially loyal ones. This experience did not reflect that standard. To the owners and management: it is important to ensure your staff are properly trained in both communication and customer service. Clear language skills and professionalism are essential in this industry. Also, not every customer is looking for discounts or free services--we are simply looking for quality work and respectful treatment. During this visit, my sister's beautiful hair was shaved in the back with a razor to correct a cut that had been done too short. Using a razor in that way on a woman's hair is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. We understand that mistakes happen. We are all human, and sometimes language barriers or misunderstandings occur. However, what matters most is how those situations are handled--with kindness, accountability, and respect. This is a business that charges premium prices, and with that comes the responsibility to train and guide staff on how to properly interact with customers. We are not asking for refunds or free services. What we expect is acknowledgment, empathy, and clear communication about next steps--instead of being immediately asked to remove a negative review in exchange for a free fix. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and uses it to improve the customer experience moving forward.

She was swift, accurate and very confident in what I needed even tho what I thought I was going in for was just a 2-inch trim, lol. I had old grown out bleach-dyed hair and ends and really just wanted to clean up my ends but I ended up walking out with a layered haircut I didn't know I needed. She was friendly, fast and accurate, and loved it. I have since received a handful of compliments on my cut, and that's music to my ears! PSA: Longs hair studio does NOT take appointments for haircuts on the weekends - walk-ins only. They open at 9:30am on Saturdays, and I got there at 10am a they were SLAMMED!!! Every seat had a client or patron, and while I did have to wait about 15-20 minutes, I'm still glad I waited and got Stella! I didn't really like that I had to wait and that there was minimal to no seating because an entire family had taken up the seats they had, so it got crammed and crowded real quick. Other than that, I had a great experience! Great price too! Paid $50 for a haircut before tip! Pretty competitive and not overpriced for a haircut these days!

Wow, wow, wow! I was treated like royalty from the moment I walked in to when I left. Grace and her…read morelovely assistant were so nice to me. I not only came to get my hair done, it was a whole relaxing experience. I'm just sorry I didn't get the assistant's name because she was so sweet and hospitable. I was greeted promptly and had my coat taken from me, which was nice. I was sat right away in the stylist chair. A few minutes later, Grace, my stylist came to greet me. I came to get balayage and she asked me for a picture. I showed her and she promptly when to work. The only criticism I have is that I wish the consultation was more in depth, like ask questions about my hair and things like that. My hair was curly when I came in so she did a quick straightening so she can start the coloring service. Grace works super quickly, her hands were flying all over my head. She works super confidently. During this time, I accepted an offer for coffee and kept myself busy reading some work I had for class. Not much small talk was made but I honestly didn't mind. I was doing my reading and a talkative stylist doesn't make or break it for me. Grace did offer me a conditioning treatment as an add-on service which I accepted. And boy, am I glad I did! It came with the most incredible scalp message I have ever received by her assistant. I almost fell asleep at the sink lol. I also got my ends trimmed because I needed to and again Grace did everything so quickly. While she was drying and styling my hair, parts of my hair had looked super brassy. I pointed this out and Grace offered a free retouch without hesitation. It looked like half of my head was orangey in tone and I was shocked at how nonchalant she was being but it turns out that the chair was awkwardly placed between two different sets of lighting. Once I looked myself in a different mirror, all was good! But , I was grateful for the offer of the free retouch, which wasn't necessary after all. I was also offered a complimentary shoulder massage after she was finished with my hair. The balayage, haircut and deep condition with olaplex came out to about $250 before the tip which was reasonable to me. I actually enjoyed getting my hair done. The salon itself is clean with minimalist decor. Bathroom was clean as well. And there were little details throughout the salon that makes it clear that a lot of effort was put into the place and guest experience. I would love to continue to support this business.

Booking on their platform did not work for me so I called to book my appointment instead. I did a 10am on a Saturday, thinking ok I'll be done within an hour... *TWO. HOURS. LATER.* (haha) Honestly probably one of the longest blowouts I've ever had but it was definitely worth it and I wasn't in a rush. The chairs they have you lie down on for your wash are sooooo comfortable. My stylist Chasity gave me THREE deep shampoos and the last one I think I fell asleep as she massaged my scalp for the longest time. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a total sucker for a hair and scalp massage. For my conditioner she massaged my scalp AGAIN and then wrapped my head in a hot towel so it was a steam mask for 5-10 minutes. Like wow. The blowout itself was done with such precision. Using the Dyson hair dryer, my hair was gathered into small sections and every flyaway was tamed. I have a lot of hair and it's pretty long so I really appreciate her commitment to the process. My hair afterwards was sooooo soft, shiny, and silky. Chasity did an amazing job! Also, they're very reasonably priced. My blowout was $50... my salon in NYC could NEVER. Such a luxurious service for such a great price! If I ever need a blowout again while visiting my hometown, I will be definitely booking an appointment here.
