Friendly staff and easy check in with app, but not a good haircut at all! Simple request of #1 on the sides and spike top. The lady seemed to have an uneven eye or something because I asked to fix the flat spot and she made it worse! See picture. read more

Supercuts - Hair Salons Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

My friend told me about this guy who does an amazing job cutting hair at Supercuts kamakana Alii location (Justin) so I had to check it out for myself. Needless to say my friend was right, Justin's artistry as a hair dresser is amazing and he is extremely easy to talk to, which to me is important because if I'm sitting in a chair for longer than 3 mins without anything to do, I will lose my mind haha Buts it's not only him, there is another worker there (always looks stunning with her beautiful makeup, more mature woman) who is also very sweet and it just makes for a really comfortable and welcoming environment. Oh and they use a hot towel after the cut to clean up the hair and it is just absolute heaven! read more

Just left there. I was asking for a trim some bangs and possibly style my hair after. She said she had no time to style. Ok not so bad. We agreed on bangs being below my eyebrows. They are ABOVE my eyebrows. On top of that she let me leave with my hair WET. There was no other people there. She even was like you got a hairdryer at home yeah? When she first started my hair she was talking to the other guy that someone else was doing. She didn't even try to make small talk with me. Only asking what I wanted. I left unhappy and I should've complained but I was in no mood to make a scene. I've been to a different one last year before lockdown started. The supercuts in Pearl City near Petco. I had this korean aunty. She was amazing. I rather go to her! read more

Always always always NEVER on time with appointments. Told me 5pm-6pm is walk in only and sure enough a customer comes in and checks in for 5:30pm at 5:15pm. How?! How is it possible if it's walk in and clearly I'm here before you? So after a wait of 1 hour I'm running out of time and decide to make an appointment for the following day @ 11am. I show up and am told it was "mistakenly" booked for 11:30am with literally 4-5 people already waiting in the salon also. Seriously never coming back here again. Would not recommend if you're someone that expects to be serviced in a timely manner. read more

Never got serviced. Walked in was immediately asked if we had an appt. I said no and receptionist said that we won't be serviced until 2p. It is currently 1240. In the background another lady called out "can" and the other one basically let us walk out w/ out even asking us what we wanted. My daughter just needed a hair cut. There was only two others getting serviced, one was a little boy. Another family walked in, got serviced. Oh well. read more

Always great service. I love how Sharon cut my hair super love it. she's gonna be my stylist.

Extremely upset about our experience here. My wife went in for hair straightening and was told it will cost $25. After the lady was done they changed her $40 because they said it HAD to include "shampooing, washing and styling" of hair. Full discretion- SHE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY OF THOSE SERVICES. When discussed during time of pay, they told her "this is how their computer is setup". Highway robbery, disrespectful, disgraceful and deceitful are just some of the adjectives to describe how she was treated. She is an attorney and reads things in their fine print and was annoyed about how she was deceived and played into being charged for services she did not want OR receive. Extremely upset about her treatment at this location. read more

Been here 3yrs & JUST discovered a great girl who cute great hair at this location! No one else will cut my hair while I'm here on island...

Went to another place 3 doors down and had to make an appt (mind you the cutter said she was busy and proceeded on her phone call). So wanting a cut I went to Supercuts and guess what, no waiting. The cutter did exactly what I wanted and I was very happy with the cut. Will always go here first... read more

So I had the most traumatic experience at this super cuts not only once but twice. First was with color and it being over processed. The second time Genesis a stylist from Supercuts destroyed my hair. I told her a tiny bit off the ends and just trim a time from the end no face sculpting. She was recently a receptionist so I was kinda skeptical but I gave it a try cause she acted like she knew what she was doing. Needless to say she does not know what she's doing and I want to know where she got her license. She also had her children running around the salon and babysitting them while working. Very unprofessional. I went to get a refund and to show her what she done and she smirked and could care less. I finally got my refund and Sharon the "manager" on duty acted like she could care less and as if nothing was wrong with my hair. I've grown my hair out for 3 years because it takes forever and she ruined it. I was in tears. Please DO NOT GO THERE. My hair was to the middle of my back and I had to get it chopped to my shoulders. Before my hair was cut after it was cut and my fixed hair cut are the pictures posted below. I hope no one will ever have to have this experience. read more

Basic cut for men (with clippers) was pretty expensive. I mean, it came out good but with how often it'll have to get done, this place will cost a fortune. Barbershop from now on. read more

I called and was told I could come in right away. My son needed a haircut. The girl Joweylin was very nice and she did a great job in giving my son what he wanted. His hair was quite long and she cut his hair quickly but it was a nice haircut read more

Don't go to the one at ka makana alii, butchered my hair. They did try to fix it but still was not happy. Had to let it grow out and then recut somewhere else. read more

One of the more welcoming Supercuts upon walking in! Justin was my hairstylist and the reviews don't lie - he's terrific! I wanted a couple inches off but also help achieving more body and texture with my fine hair and he was so helpful, explaining how the cut could be minimalistic and he also instructed me on styling it at home with little effort. I left happy and definitely plan on going back! read more

GO TO JUSTIN! Cut & color, he never fails me. I'll always book an appointment with him. He has such a friendly personality and knows what he's doing when it comes to hair!!! Seriously, you won't be disappointed. read more

I do not recommend this place. I'm not even sure this lady was actually trained to cut hair. I showed her a cute short cut that was in the book they had available in their own store. It was supposed to travel along my jaw line and the bangs were supposed to be diagonal and swooped into the rest of hair. What actually happened; She chopped at my hair leaving it uneven and for my bangs she held them in front of my face and cut straight across. Then, once she realized it looked like crap she had the balls to say "well, maybe you should just play with it and style it at home". I did not just pay 20$ to have to go home AND CUT MY OWN HAIR. I didn't catch her name, but shes an elderly Asian lady with way too much make up and short hair. Don't let this woman anywhere near you with a pair of scissors. She also screwed up my husbands hair as well. Just, stay away from this place. read more

Big fan of Supercuts at the Ka Makana Alii location. Scheduled with Genesis, who is nice. But her cuts always look the same, no matter what picture you show her. Also, she never used scissors both times I went, only clippers, which is a big downside in my opinion. She needs to up her skill with scissors and actually listen to what her customers want. read more

I'm new to this shop but I must say of the few times I've been here I've always left satisfied with my cuts. Waiting was always in 5 min range and never more. Atmosphere is homely and Genesis always does a great drop. I'll be coming here regularly. Thumbs up guys! read more

Only 1 barber working. Checked in online to sit around and wait for 30 minutes. Disappointed.

Let me just start off with saying that this was my absolute first time going to supercuts to cut or dye my hair. Secondly, I was a little skeptical to come to this location because of the reviews but I'm so glad I did. Sharon (the lady who did my hair) exceeded my expectations. I came on at 3 pm on the dot (which was my appointment time) & luckily there was only 1 guy getting his hair done so I didn't have to wait at all. I told Sharon that I wanted a face frame layer & to do an ombre dye, showed her a couple pictures. She listened & did exactly that. My hair took a little longer than expected (5 hrs to be exact) but it was because she literally took her time going through each section making sure that the color goes on each strand. I would say 3 out of the 5 hours was putting the bleach on my hair & letting it sit so the color came out nice & bright. Then of course the other 2 hours was washing, cutting, then last...styling. Not only am I happgh about my new look, but the price that I paid for it was frikken AMAZING!!! Unlike other salons that charge you an arm & a leg for the same service. The only junk thing is that they only take same day appointments. But other than that their prices can't be beat & their customer service was great. Will be going here for all my future hair appointments. read more

Supercuts - The picture on the right needed a cut & some color. I did a face frame layer & ombre dye. Thanks to Sharon I absolutely love my new hair. - Hair Salons Near Me - Kapolei, Hawaii

Justin has a amazing view on hair, come and have a consultation and allow him to work him magic. You won't be disappointed.

Terrible just terrible. When my lady barber asked another barber what size clip to use on my head because the clip she's using isn't cutting? I knew I was doomed! read more

Genesis is always great she does a great job at cutting my hair and is very pleasant. The customer service is super awesome from the bottom to the top. I would recommend anyone to go over there and get their hair cut by Genesis he is up and coming Rising hairstyle. Lots of parking lots of good products to choose from to take care of your hair after you get it styled or cut. I normally go to another Supercuts location to color my hair and had called numerous times to get an appointment but I was told that they are "booked" each time, on different days and times. But this location took me right away. Sharon did an amazing job with my color! All the staff was so friendly as well! I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend them :-) read more

Went here to cut my hair and genesis knocked my fade out of the park. I have a few gitty gittys that make it hard to cut my hair but that didn't fade her she just faded me lol. She listen to how I wanted it cut and is very reliable. She even trimmed my beard a couple times and did an excellent job. Don't worry about your haircut going to genesis. She won't let you down read more

Great service and very knowledgeable staff (Justin and the lovely Asian lady *sorry forgot her name but she's so sweet and nice and she cut my hair good*). The location is clean and fully stocked with products. There's lots of parking since it's located in the mall. Definitely recommend. read more

I can't even give this Super Cuts a one star. Went in with my son on Saturday morning for a trim. The woman butchered his hair. It is currently uneven and two different lengths on either side. She kept having to go shorter with the clippers bc she had no clue how to grade (not that even asked her for it to be that short that it would need grading) Ugh, getting hot again thinking about the experience. She needs to go back to training, wish I'd gotten her name. The only saving grace was the service was free-but I will never step foot in another Supercuts and I've told all my friends about the visit. Do NOT go here unless you want to pay to get it fixed. read more

Highly recommend this place, hands down. First time here and they have a very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Got my cut from Genesis and she did an amazing job, never have I seen my hair look this great ever. Sorry Andy I think I found my new barber lol read more

Genesis went way above and beyond in giving great customer service to me on Tuesday night! I was teaching a communications class the next day and with all the things going on beforehand, ran out of time to get my haircut. She stayed after hours and gave me a great haircut!! I go to this particular salon not just for convenience as there is one closer to me. My primary reason is the consistency of service. When I check the app for next available it's always as accurate as would seem possible considering the variables. Other salons not so much. The stylists always ask if they are not sure about the details of what I want to ensure we are on the same page before proceeding. read more

My son and I went here to get cuts. He went first. I showed the older Asian lady (Elaine I think) a picture to go off of and asked if she could do it. Of course she said yes. I showed her this picture a few times throughout the hair cut because I was noticing that my sons hair was looking nothing like what she was shown. She told me she was blending in his fade which is not a fade at all. Basically skin up to the top of his head, and now I have to pay for this. Needless to say I didn't get my hair cut and we won't be back. read more

This is the place to go and cut or trim your hair. We followed Justin from Ewa Town Center to Ka Makana Alii location. Both my son and husband like the way Justin cuts their hair. Sharon did a Great Job on my hair. Highly recommend this location for a hair cut. Mahalo!

Had my hair cut tonight, normally I go to my cheap barber in Waianae, however she is on vacation. Went to Supercuts at Kamakana Alii, and saw Genesis for my appointment. There was a family with 4 very young kids there, and the youngest throwing a tantrum. Genesis was going to take me for my appointment and I just really wanted those children out of there, so I told her it was fine and just help the other stylist finish up the kids. It was a long week for me and finally got into the chair and Genesis talked me into a shampoo and Tea tree oil treatment. I said sure why not. She perfectly cut my hair, and the shampoo and tea tree treatment nearly put me to sleep. She did a wonderful job, and I forgot about the bad week I have been having. She is now my new barber, it costs me twice what I pay my barber, however I do not care, I am now going to be going to see her every other week and maybe stop in on off weeks for that tea oil treatment. Thank you Genesis, outstanding job!!! read more
