I called ahead for an appointment. My stylist was due in at the same time, which was great because I had a meeting scheduled later. She arrived on time and I thought she'd call me next. What she did instead left me in shock. She took a walk-in before me and said I'll take you next. ‍ Needless to say, I got up from my seat and walked out. Terrible way to do business. read more

My hairdresser (Sefra )was wonderful, I desperately needed a haircut and she was able to squeeze me in between other appointments but did not rush mine. she listened to what I wanted and made my hair look great. She was very passionate that I have a haircut that looks great and was very friendly as well as professional. I will definitely be going back to her. *Side note: My hairdresser was cutting a young boys hair before my haircut and was great with him and very patient which I think is amazing. If I had kids of my own I would be bringing them to her. read more

There had been, many many moons since I step foot in one of these and quite frankly, it's dumbfounding to me, how they even exist given their service. I suppose, I should have learned my lesson the first time and stayed away. I was greeted by a brunette employee, at check in and simply asked for a bald side fade, a little bit off the top and a shampoo (after she asked me if I wanted one). So, in less than 15 mins I am on a chair. She begins. 1st mistake: apparently, a bald fade here isn't a bald fade at all. Because it didn't get done. A bald fade anywhere means SKIN, bare skin. 2nd, this girl, completely and utterly ignored my request to trim the top, because I mentioned my hair tends to grow kinda fast, she assumed I wanted to come back again soon the following week. Wrong. I ASKED you to trim my hair, and a bald fade, and I am paying you for it, don't assume I want to come back next week. I don't. I won't. Ever again to this place. 3rd, and this was the final straw for me. She barely asks me, how my hair is looking and at that point, to which point I was so disappointed that I was like fine, it's OK. She proceeds to remove the robe, doesn't clean, shave the sides/ of my neck, completely ignores my initial request for a shampoo, to which she got me to agree in the beginning etc. It is as though, she couldn't get me out of that chair fast enough. Got it! If I am that undesirable as a customer for an over priced $17.95 cut, I don't need to come back, and neither do you, if you're smart enough to heed this caution. read more

I had a girl in the front chair (long red hair with long eyelashes) say she could do a simple BOB in an 8yr old with pin straight hair. My daughters hair is messed up. The stylist did an undercut bob on both sides but the back is jacked!! I asked her if she could undercut a bob and she said absolutely!! She obviously doesn't know how to do a haircut that is an undercut bob......in plain terms......A BOB!!!! SMH!! I have been going to this salon for myself for over 5 years. This was the 1st time I have taken my daughter. I have always been happy with my hair.....but my daughters hair is more important than mine. Very disappointing read more

A good hair cut here is one you don't have to fix yourself when you get home. A few years back I went in there for a simple buzz cut. I walked out with that and an additional 3 good size holes shaved into the back of my head. The hair dresser had to have realized this but still charged me full price and let me walk out the door (fortunately she was so rude to me I refused to leave an additional tip). Upon arriving home my mother alerted me to the bald spots on the back of my head and I quickly returned to get a refund. They asked me if I wanted them to fix it after they gave me the refund but my thoughts were that it was an impossible fix and I was quite set with them ever touching my hair again. Its one thing to make a mistake, they happen. But this one noticed a few large mistakes and then let me walk out the door after paying the full price. Absolutely unbelievable. Decided to give them another try after a few year boycott (I figured/hoped that person would be long gone from there). Still pretty bad. I ended up trimming some "long spots" myself that I didn't notice while I was in there. I immediately noticed them when I got home and looked in the mirror so I have no idea how they person who was staring at my head, cutting my hair did. Note, there was no one in there and about 2 hours before close so couldn't even use the excuse that there was a rush or near closing time. read more

You get what you get at Supercuts. Sort of the McDonalds for haircuts. They serve a market that wants it done fast and cheap. A business model- let's face it- that is better marketed for men and small children. It's not for your pack of new-aged males who are doing extravagant/wild new styles with hair. Supercuts is for dudes that walk in with long hair and expect to leave with it shorter- plain and simple. This is your easy ten minute cut that keeps the pace of your day rolling. If I was female, I'd never go here. If I gave any more of a shit about my hair, I'd opt to find a consistent barber who would "learn my hair" and do a proper job. Till then, I sit down, shut up, get shaved and pay 20 bucks just to get on with more things to-do on my list. read more

I'm a long time customer. Never had a problem. At one time or another most of the staff have cut my hair and that's always been done well. I go in about once every five weeks for a haircut and I've always found the staff to be competent and personable. read more

I wish I could give this less than what I did. I never come here for the very reason why I'm leaving this review. I'm completely disgusted by the service in this place. You get what you pay for that's for sure. Rude. Unprofessional. Ruined my kids hair. Hair grows back and I'm not too worried about his hair but I want to warn people before they decide they don't have enough money for a real salon. Do yourself a favor and save for it. It's worth it in the end to go to a better place than a cheaper one. read more

While visiting the East Coast I decided to have my hair styled last minute. I stopped by your location and was surprised to be told it would be less than a 15 minute wait, although it looked busy. I had the pleasure of having my hair washed, conditioned, cut/styled and blown dry by Trisha. She was inviting and so friendly. Trisha listened to how I wear my hair and what I would like done. She did exactly what I asked and also offered her expertise which was so appreciated. I have lived in Los Angeles for the last 7 years and have had a few high profile stylists cut, color, and highlight my hair. I don' mind saying that each time, I have had disappointments each time. It goes to show me that a city's location and price (LA is more than ridiculously highly priced!) has absolutely nothing to do with the end result. Communication reception and talent is what Trisha offered me. Not only did she offer it to me, she delivered. How refreshing to have a stylist treat a client this way. I love a stylist who states exactly what result she's capable of ensuring when examining your hair type prior to service. So, a big thank you to Trisha for allowing me to have a great experience at your salon. The next time I am in town, I look forward to coming in for some pampering! (Also) Trisha :) read more

Been there a couple times. Expensive even compared to experienced, competent barbers. Cut was o.k. on those occasions. Most recent trip (today), the girl wouldn't take a breath. Talked non stop. Butchered me while she blabbed. Worst hair cut ever. Like the previous reviewer, she didn't listen to a word I said about length. Or how I wear my hair. Tried to get the comb away to show her. She wouldn't let me till she was done. Too late! First time in 30+ years I havn't tipped after a cut. Never, ever again Super Cuts! read more
