I had arrived to get my hair diffused for a job party I was having that same evening. The lady who did my hair at first seemed very confident, but turned out her work wasn't as good as her confidence. As those with Curly hair know, you should not use a diffuser on high heat nor use a lot of hair mouse, spray, or gel. When I left my hair was very crispy and hardly curly. The lady burned my head about 4 times and it was not pleasant. I left in a rush because I was going to be late for work, but when I had some free time I spoke to the manager about my situation. She quickly and politely invited me to go back and get my hair redone by a different stylist. When I arrived after work, I was treated very politely and felt the Manager's gratitude for me allowing them to fix their mistake. Alaina is the stylist who redid my hair and I was very happy with the way my hair turned out with her. Definitely going back to Alaina only here!! Ok so I have used Supercuts for many years. Both of my daughters also use Supercuts. So 3 humans I get their haircut by many different stylists. We aren't super picky. So yesterday we go into the Oakwood location. ‍ big mistake. I have a super easy haircut and I juts wanted the undercut trimmed down. Literally 3 minutes with clippers and line the back. I didn't want the top trimmed as I am getting a style into place. Regular haircut 18.99 My daughter who has longer hair wanted 6 Inchs taken off and blow it dry as we were shopping and she didn't want to walk around with frizzy hair. So she gets her cut and I am done. I go up to pay and this is how it's rang up. My daughter wanted supercut 3 32.99 and mine was 18.99. We stopped the blow dry and I told my daughter it's hot outside and your hair will dry very quickly. It was a last minute decision to even go get a haircut and this lady really did try to charge me 30.99 plus 18.99 for my daughter haircut PLUS 18.99 for mine. I will never go back to this location. Drive the 4 miles north to 17th st and get a much better cut. The stylist can barely speak English I did stop the blow dry and paid 18.99 for each haircut and tipped each stylist $7 bucks. read more

She's been cutting my hair for over a year now. I recently went in while she was on vacation, and my backup stylist Deborah gave me a great cut and color! These ladies are very knowledgeable about hair care and always give me solutions to any questions about products and hair care. I love going to this Supercuts and getting my haircut here. The staff here are so professional and care about customer service. I am especially impressed with the hairstylist and manager named Kimberly B. She greets everyone with kindness immediately when they come in the door. She runs a professional shop with good communication and quick professional haircuts. The place runs like well-oiled machine when she is there. I have seen her patience and care with children and elderly people too. I love this Supercuts and I'm glad she (Kimberly B.) is there to serve everyone quickly and professionally. I had a haircut with Reyna on 11/6/2020 and I didn't like her attitude and she was not helpful at all. I paid $60.00 for a haircut, wash, and blow dry and I don't have that much hair! Look at my picture. I also didn't like that the entire staff there was Spanish and spoke Spanish in front of customers. They probably was talking about my fat-self and how little hair I have. This Supercuts has gone down and I would not recommend going to this Supercuts anymore and do stay away from Reyna. She will NOT give you any styling tips at all. To whomever the franchise owner of this location is, can I strongly suggest you both advertise your prices and your stylists know the prices. I go to Supercuts for a simple cut & the convenience of going when I have the time. A wash, cut & dry for "long hair" was $55. I even showed the stylist my hair length before I got a wash. I get in the chair, the stylist begins to dry my hair, so I stated, I want a cut too. Her response was "yes, I just want to get some of the water out." & then says, it's $55 only for the wash & dry. So I asked her what the total cost was for a wash, cut, dry. She says she has to look in the computer, and tells me $61. I decide to only get a wash & cut, with the confusion & the lack of knowledge, I felt she either doesn't know or is charging me more than what she should, and $61 is way more than I think she should be charging me. When I get to the register to pay, it's $24.99 for a wash & cut. So a blow dry costs $36? It states a wash, cut, dry starts at $32.99...yet the stylist kept saying everything's separate. Make it make sense and little more customer friendly. read more

I called and the person who answered said they don't take appointments but I remembered from one of their ads that they had the one hour call ahead I was lucky when I called back to get Alaina on the phone she was so nice so helpful that when I went in there I asked for her and I was very happy that she did my hair she was great she was patient it was starting to rain outside and she offered me a plastic bag for my hair because I was walking as I'm here on business and staying across the street in a hotel I highly recommend her. read more

She did a great job cutting my hair, and even asked if there were any modifications I wanted her to make before she was finished. I continue to be impressed with the great haircut I get for a very affordable price. People often ask me where I got my hair cut and are shocked when I tell them at Supercuts. Why pay triple the price when the cut is super as is?! The two stylists I have used - Clara and Elsa - are both terrific. I highly recommend them. I've been to this location twice. I've sat with two different ladies and both of them lack what it takes to be a successful hair stylist. First, I was there three weeks ago for a simple trim, I don't recall the ladies name. She didn't butcher me so the only opinion I have of her is a lack of personality. In this industry not having a personality is like not having scissors. What's the point? The second time I went was for color. I asked when I called if what I was looking for is possible and if she had done it before. I was told to call back and speak with the manager. I should have known this would be a mistake when I finally spoke with her... TALK ABOUT LACK OF PERSONALITY! No smile, no warm welcome, just complete B*TCH face. I show up for my appointment, show pictures of the look I am going for and ask again if this is something she has done or thinks she is capable of doing.... again I was reassured that she is very confident with her ability. I left three hours after my arrival, extremely deeply disappointed. When I arrived home my husband was so upset that I actually paid for this horrible job. This was supposed to be a gift to myself for my birthday. Instead I am horrified by the outcome and can only hope to find someone who can fix what was done. Joelle does not know what she is doing and should not be allowed to color hair or go back to school and learn this time. Apparently from all the feedback on here, she seems to be great with men and should stick with that. I paid the bill and left her a 30% tip not for her time or her skill but because I am in the service industry and believe what goes around comes around. I went to the Supercuts at Oakwood Blvd a couple of times... The first time I was a bit nervous because the woman who was doing my hair at the time didn't seem to speak English that well. I found it difficult trying to understand what she was asking or requesting. At the end she did give me the haircut that I wanted. I went there the second time, since I was satisfied with my haircut from the first visit, I went there and the same woman did my hair. Again the same issue, lack of English. If it wasn't for the language problem that I've experienced I would have rated this business practice 5 stars. read more

Great haircut at decent price! My stylist was Joelle and she gave me the exact haircut I asked for, a scissor cut fade. She did not balk at me asking for a scissor cut, as many other stylists have done. She also asked me where I wanted to have my sideburns trimmed to prior to cutting them and then took her time getting them even and level; astonishing, I know. To too it all off, there was a pleasant conversation during the haircut, which is more than I can say for some of the other stylists I've had at this location. This has probably been the most professional and enjoyable haircut I have received in recent memory. So I went in for a trim. Usually they spray my hair do they can cut it. well the lady totally wet my hair, I thought ok thats fine she will dry it after. Well after my trim she says ok done without even drying it. I said I can't go out there with wet hair I will get sick. She said I can't its not policy. I said what???? Can you dry a little? She said no its 60 dollars. Another lady said yeah its 60 dollars. I looked at the price list and it said 20 for short and 40 for xlong. Liars and I went out pregnant with soaking wet hair Nice.....
