I liked Kathy a lot personality wise i asked just for a trim that I was still growing out my hair. she got wayyy to scissor happy and butchered my hair. my hair was down to my waist and now it's under my boob what the hell. that was more than a trim my hair is curly and is going to take me 2 years to get my waist. read more

I wrote this same review on Google where I first read the reviews and which lead me to make an appointment. Here is what I wrote based on my services received today by Robin (short hair lady with super long nails) I was going to come and leave a review right after but I felt like I needed to sit on it for the a bit to see how I felt at the end of the day. I felt compelled to write this because I felt like I was swayed to come here and to select Robin based on the reviews only to be completely let down. I booked with Robin based on the amount of reviews that she received that was super positive, I had came back to review them again and checked out the negative comments to see that someone else's hair was also butchered by her, and I really feel like I can save someone the trouble by putting my experience here. I'm not super fussy about my hair. I came in with the intentions of chopping most of because my hair was damaged by bleach. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and told her I didn't want my bangs that short, and showed her with my hand that I wanted my bangs to start here below my nose. As she was cutting my bangs I closed my eyes as her has were in front of my face, as soon as she cut it and I felt the hair fall onto the front of my face I made a noise because I felt how short it was. There was nothing to be done at this point as it was already cut, so I let her continue. At the end of it my hair looked nothing, and I mean nothing like the photo. She told me that it did and that my hair was thicker so it looked different, at which point I told her I had asked her to lighten it and I am assuming she didn't do it because she didn't know how. She kept telling me how cute it was and I told her that it's not what I had expected or wanted and I asked her for gel or something so that I can see what I can do with my bangs. Her response was that if I gave it a week it would grow out a bit and that I was just in shock. I am sure if you saw the video in the store I just kinda laughed because at that point what else can I have done? I came in with hair two inches below my shoulders with no bangs to walking out the store looking like Lord Farquaad from Shrek. And I am saying this with a sense of humor because seriously, there is nothing that can be done now except curl my hair so it has some you of volume and texture and to use bobby pins and wax or gel to pin down my crazy ass bangs. I would say that it wasn't an expensive cut, and that I probably got what I paid for but that would be minimizing the other people that work at similar places that has the skill to cut hair. I know that this isn't the kindest review and I'm sure Robin and a person is really great but this solely based on how I felt when I left there and how I am feeling now after letting myself adjust to my hair. It goes without saying that I would not return to this location and that going forward I would be willing to pay more money elsewhere. I regret going in today but it's only hair and it will grow back, thankfully. Please save yourself from have a whack job done to you. This was the worst experience. read more

I recently had eye surgery and wasn't able to get my eyes wet for two weeks. I needed my hair washed so I went to Supercuts. What I noticed first, was how the stylist was treating her elderly clients with care and concern. Robin was her name. She washed and dried my hair with great products and it looked great. I would not recommend this location. This is partial of the haircut my grandmother received. The stylist poorly over-shaved the area surrounding her mastoid process. (The area in which your hairline & back of ear connect.). Despite being refunded, anticipating customers, If this is a possibility at the establishment you are seeking a haircut, re-evaluate extended nearby options. I hope this review helps, thank you! Arrived at around 4:00 pm on a Monday. Hours posted on door clearly state closing time as 6:00 PM. Entered shop, and great nobody waiting, my lucky day! That is until the gal at the counter said "sorry, we are closed for the day, but we'll be open first thing tomorrow." She was quite polite but that did nothing for me as I was flying out the next morning. I mentioned the posed hours on the door and basically got a 'tough luck' shrug. I left and went to the nearby Great Clips (newly opened). Walked in, and was immediately taken care of. I hate leaving a negative review. It makes me feel sick to do it. I just want to warn others in hopes to save them from feeling like I do. I asked for 2" to be cut off of the ends to make my hair look healthy, and even. I wanted to keep my length, & still look stylish. I was definitely overdue for a trim. That's what I wanted, "a trim". Guess how much she cut off.... & do you think it's even? You decide. Would not go back to this stylist. Her name started with an "S". She was very sweet, polite, & sociable, but having a good haircut is more important than good manners. I have to live with this, and it just makes me feel sad. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this location on Lake Mead in Henderson. Took my son in to get a haircut and he was left with crooked bangs and sides. We called and tried asking for a refund since my child did not feel comfortable going back to get his hair fixed & we needed to take him elsewhere to see a barber that charges $40. The lady I spoke with was kind but the manager would not allow the refund even after her employee butched my child's hair. Who lets someone leave their salon with notably crooked bangs and sides. Prejudice! Worst location I've been. No wonder they have terrible reviews. I'm usually impressed w/ Supercuts, my family's been going to the brand for decades! Anyway, I was a walk in today. Felt treated different as a disabled person. Sharika was the only stylist available today. First told me she was too busy for a simple cut. Then she told me she could fit me in about 30 min. Went to Supercuts today and got a haircut, which turned out fine. Left the cutter and $10 tip and didn't hear a word of thanks. You can probably guess that I won't be going back to this location. Normally I love this place, but not today. Melissa was working and I told her how I wanted my hair cut, same cut for the last 10 years. I request a number 5 on my back and blended. She starts out with a number 2. I told her , no I said 5 and she insisted I said 2. Finally she stated she heard 2. Ok, honest mistakes I can understand. She CONTINUES with the 2, saying she heard 2. And here today 3/7/2019, I needed a trim badly and when I lived in Arkansas Supercuts was my go to place. I mean where else can you go and get a cut and wash for $19.95? I'm a simple person who just needs my ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Unfortunately this time it had been longer so I needed more cut off. We've had two awesome experiences! Yesterday, we had an appointment at Ulta for my daughter, when we got there, they said they were behind and could not take her. We called Supercuts and let Jill know we were in the parking lot and asked if they had appointments for today. She said to come right in!! Today, Brandi cut my sons hair. This is a HUGE deal for us because my son has autism and his dad always has cut his hair. Brandi was patient and so kind, answering all of his questions. I was a bit wary to go to this location, however it's on my way home from work . I had to try just for convenience. I give them a 4. They are good at what they do and we're super helpful and quick to help. The one problem is being understaffed. It's always hard to judge how many customers you have, but I think at least 3 stylists should be standard. read more

It is ridiculous that you check in online & it says 10mins. You rush down to the salon only to sit there for 20+ mins. Mind you as we're sitting here one hairstylist walks into, I'm guessing to start her shift, another finishes a haircut about the same time but half cleans her station then disappears into the break room. All meanwhile we've been sitting here for over 25mins. The only hairstylist who is actually trying to hurry finally finishes the haircut she's been half down with since we walked in. I went there yesterday to get a haircut for my son I was so disappointed, I told the lady twice what I want to do for his haircut she didn't care. I ask for low fade cut next thing you know she went so high with the machine and honestly she needs to take clases again on how to do fades because even after I told her after she was done you can see lines on his hair she went back again with the machine but results were the same. I noticed I was getting different prices from different stylists. I go in very often having a short cut. Occasionally they only trim my sides, nothing done with the top of my head. For the side trim, two stylists charged full price while another stylist actually charges for a trim which is half the cost. Supercuts also doesn't offer military discounts. I now go to Great Clips... They offer the same services and a military discount. Supercuts needs to step up their game if the want to keep customers. read more

I went in today and had my hair cut, colored and highlighted etc Madison took care of me and I must say...I am very very happy with what she did... my hair was dried, had been box died chopped by someone at a whole different salon etc and I left with what felt like a whole new head of hair! By far the worst customer service. The manager was friendly however her stylist was a rude and horrible person. She was rude from the very beginning about 5 mins into the service I decided I no longer wanted her to cut my sons hair she didn't start to cut because she was to busy asking a million questions when I just said I'm not picky just really short on the sides and a little longer at the top, she said but what do you mean over and over again. I wasn't sure what she meant by that so I said I'm not sure what you are saying do you mean measurements? I don't understand and she said no I mean you want it buzzed or scissors. I said buzzed however the whole time she had an attitude I remained calm and figured she was just having a bad day. It was her attitude. I can't even describe how bad it really was! I explained to her he was trying to grow out his hair for dreadlocks and it's been a hard time to get him into a place to cut his hair and she began to look through his hair and called it disgusting, there was a knot towards the back from his hair bunching up sitting in the car rubbing against the chair. Also, his hair was clean I would never get a hair cut with dirty hair. She had a rude demeanor and literally hates her job I'm sure the girl in the back on her cell phone heard the whole conversation. I had few haircuts at this location. Quality of work has been good and staff was fun to chat. However, stopped by on Friday for a quick cut at 7:40pm and got turned away. Posted closing time on the door is 8:00pm. I guess the posted schedule is only a suggestion. Hope I am not sounding snotty, but that's poor business practice. Complete waste of time as the employees kept stalling making us wait for his customer who was running late then when they got their they jumped right in front of us since they seemed to be regular customers , so my appointment meant nothing.
