I'm upset and I'm distressed. this is possibly worse than a buzz cut. I would rather him be bald than anything else. this haircut makes him look 30 and 12 at the same time. how? how can you manage to do that. terrible. terrible terrible terrible. all his hair is quite literally gone and there is NO saving this actual trash. I'm trying to be nice here and this is the nicest I could possibly be because dude. no way he came home looking like this after the pictures he gave contained men with decent hair length. he looks like a 6th grader and I am honestly ashamed. don't come here if you care about what you look because they will mess you up. I never recommend super cuts and quite frankly I am irritated by my boyfriend for going here and not somewhere actually good. however, this haircut doesn't even look too complicated and honestly I should've done it myself because whatever unlicensed mess I couldve possibly made would look way better than whatever absolute garbage he came home with. this is definitely not what he asked for and I feel so bad because honestly I cant even look at him and I might need to go to exposure therapy. So for starters, they only take appointments the day of so you have to call them right when they open "at 10 am" I made an appointment for 11:30, we arrived 10 minutes early and only had to wait about 5 minutes. They were definitely busy, I saw no less then 4 people getting their hair cut. Pops was in and out in about 10 minutes. The haircut was average. Over not a bad job. read more

A couple months ago I went to this Supercuts to get my pixie cut trimmed. The lady that helped me asked if I'd like to get the tea tree scalp massage. I said, sure. I needed to get my hair washed anyway. The Tea tree scalp massage is amazing! It just wakes up my scalp & feels so good. I've been coming here for a little while now & take my daughter to get her hair trimmed when she needs it. Everyone always does a great job & Maria did an excellent job w/me today in giving me a great Tea Tree scalp massage & giving me a shorter pixie cut (my hair grows fast). The vibe is always great here & I'm so glad we have a place like Supercuts to go to. They are reasonably priced & I don't feel like I'm breaking the bank like other salons make me feel here in Gilroy. I really do recommend Supercuts here in Gilroy. Nicole did great on my husbndsl. No complaints and was very keen on detailed and Kept asking my husband questions about what he wants which is great. $27 for a great cut with tip included. This was with a shampoo before to since he came from the gym. He usually goes to a fancy barber that cost like $15 more and honestly from my perspective I can't tell a difference. I loved the service here. I've been to other Supercuts, and I've honestly tolerated their customer service compared to this location. I was in town shopping at the Outlets, and my fiance and I decided we both needed a trim. Back home, the stylists criticize my hair color, scold me for dyeing my hair at home, and tell me that I'm using all the wrong products to try try push me into whatever they're selling. This location is nothing like that. My stylist was very personable and friendly as she cut my hair. I wish I had caught her name. The atmosphere, as a whole, was light and welcoming. Had the worse experience today! I've been here before to have color and cut done and been happy. Unfortunately tonight the gal who did my hair last time was not available and so I decided to give Jenny a chance. The worse mistake ever! My hair looks so yellow, gold, brassy ugly color and the highlights aren't even, I have about half an inch to an inch of space between my root and the beginning of the highlight! She did not know how to foil my hair, and after 3.5 hours for partial highlights, when I expressed my concern she said I should have came in earlier during the day! Anyway I didn't have an appointment and walked in and only saw one person and she was already cutting hair but then Mayte walked out and took me to her chair ,sat me right down and asked me what I was looking for. Well I used to go to the same Barber for the last umpteen years but he had retired. I explain to her what I usually got and how I kind a like my hair but having Facial hair I need a new haircut and she said she knew what I was talking about and went to work , had nice lite conversation and 15 minutes later she finished the cut.....friggin nailed it hands-down great job I will definitely be back to see Mayte! read more

This place is the worst... I dropped in for a cut and color nothing special since they are always NOT busy and empty. I walk in at 4:15pm and the gal had to ask another gal if she had time for cut n color. Mind you there were 3 gals at the time. So the lady looks at me and at her like... she obviously didn't want to make money. They do close at 8pm, I was like you know what forget it I'll go somewhere else for that. Like come on if you don't like your job then don't work there! Very poor customer service and if a manager was there I would have escalated this. My husband just got home from this place and had a horrible experience!! He told me he had his favorite Maui Jim sunglasses stolen by a "regular". He set them on the front desk to sign in and forgot them, then later, a man was paying and the woman at the front desk asked him if they were his. He said yes and left. They took my husband's name & number and said that client is a regular so if he brings them back they'll call him. Sub-par haircut to boot. Drive the 25 minutes and go to Anthony For Hair in South San Jose. They do a great job!! My husband is deeply regretting his decision to stray from the tried & true where he doesn't have to watch his stuff like a hawk and his hair doesn't look like a 9 year old cut it. When I get a haircut it is usually at Supercuts. Always happy with service. Would love to see them offer hair wash before and after cut for the same price as one wash. It only makes since to leave without all those loose hairs. Also they advertise hot towel wipe after cut but I've only had that offered to me once. I forget to ask, but do I need too? Today my son got his haircut with Jenny. We have always been extremely pleased with Jenny's work. She is very talented, professional, super patient and nice. She has been the only stylist that has cut his hair ever and my older son's hair since he was 1 yrs. old. It's been 13 years now and we just learned she is leaving. It's gonna be hard to trust someone else. It's a bitter/sweet feeling. Although we are so sad to know she's leaving the area, we are so very happy for her. Went in for a haircut and Julie was the one that took my name in the front desk. She said it would take an hour wait. I kindly told her that wouldn't be a problem. Then another gentleman arrived after me that didn't have a reservation and was told the same thing. Next thing you know, Julie asks for my name and I was expecting to be next since I got there first but she just clarified who I was then told the guy who came in after me that he was next! Good cuts, but you won't get in, in a timely manner unless you're a regular. I went in and was told there were two people in front of me. Came to be the time where I was up next, and someone came in that they knew by name. This person did not check in prior. Instead of letting me know they were going to take care of HIM first even though I already spent 25 minutes waiting, they just said "hey --- are you ready?" And took them to a chair.
