Hands down, my favorite salon in WNY!!…read more Located in the heart of the East Aurora village, Atelier is one of the most beautiful salons I've visited. The ultra modern, sleek, and clean decor not only is inviting to newcomers but keeps long time customers looking forward to going back. The lobby is well equipped with a comfy couch, chairs, water, and coffee, and always beautifully decorated for the current season/holiday. I've been going to Jennifer, the owner, for over two years now. She is always professional and up to date with the latest hair trends. Because of her experience, I always let her guide my hair appointment with suggestions - color, cuts, extensions, etc. I've never left dissatisfied. She always knows what's best for her clients! If you are looking for a new salon or stylist, don't hesitate checking out Atelier (see Jennifer!!)

It was a relaxing atmosphere and made for some great photos. The stylists allowed the makeup artist and photographer to come right in and even let us eat our breakfast/lunch there. What is also cool about the salon is the garage door, which they open up on a nice sunny day. I've had Jessica as a stylist and I couldn't be happier. She styled my hair for the wedding to exactly what I had envisioned (Pinterest perfect). Ever since, I have been going here for my cuts. Not only to I leave feeling like I need to show off my new haircut, I also always leave with a piece of haircare knowledge. She's easy to talk to and so informative as to what is best for your type of hair! Her partner, Savannah, is likely just as great! I don't think you could go wrong with checking out this salon. Plus, it's in the heart of East Aurora (right behind Main St). You could make a whole day of it - lunch at Elm St, shopping at Vidlers, book hunting at the Bookworm...

I was finally able to get in to see her today. (I had to reschedule and then she had to reschedule.) i wanted blonde highlights and she did such a great job with my hair. The price was right too! Whatever was on my head first, bothered my ode a bit. Hannah mixed honey and butter coloring. The highlights look great and she made my hair look wavy and cute with her pink flatiron. She said my hair was still healthy so I decided not to get a cut today. Next time I'll get highlights and a cut. The bathrooms are nice here. The salon is well lit. They have a downstairs for their non-hair services. The receptionists were super nice and the salon is very clean. I'm happy with the work Hannah did today and I can't wait to return.

Two months after expiration date and after some debate salon agreed to honor 1/2 of certificate. Needless to say after finding out I was not a happy camper. I paid for a cash certificate and given my daughter's pregnancy the year of the certificate, I thought they would put customer first. Not the type of salon I would recommend. Needless to say I will no longer be purchasing gift certificates from this business. i suppose they smiled all the way to the bank.

First time shopper, this is the most impressive business I have seen in years. It seems like more…read moreof a movement than a small business. Its founder gave this business a genuine mission: healthy products made with scientific basis from ingredients known for ages to work, that work beautifully, but with none of the modern chemical additives that make us sick. I can say that what they recommended for me after a careful consultation (with my wife who spares no details) worked better than any of the dozens of other products I have tried for the same problem over the years, and I feel better about how I look. Maybe that is why this place has such a fanatic following. I have met people who visit their East Aurora store from far away just to shop there. Word is spreading fast.

I don't even know where to begin with this one. From the very beginning I suppose?…read more Ever since I came of age, I've had acne. It always seemed to come and go in waves, sometimes my face would clear up and then a few days later it'd just explode with acne and puffiness. It was always chalked up to, y'know, puberty, chocolate, whatever. But where some people seemed to just "grow out of it" I only continued to struggle. I've tried god knows how many different products and brands to try and find a solution. Nothing really seemed to do me any good, so I'd go through phases of just not trying, getting hopeful again, getting disappointed. It was awful. My friend actually recommended me this place - she told me about how they'll actually swab your cheek to investigate the bacteria that grows on your face, give you a whole rundown of things you can do to get your skin back on track - and naturally I trusted her opinion, so I decided to give this place a try. When I visited the shop with her last week, they did just that - swabbed my cheek, and started asking me about my eating habits, blood type - literally all sorts of things that I had no idea could potentially be affecting my body in a way that causes my breakouts. I was tasked with doing a celery juice cleanse, and given a list of things I should try to avoid eating for a week in order to help my body to recover from some of the not so great things I've been putting in it. They actually gave me a good week's worth of different product samples (for free!), things they make in-house that I could try during my cleanse to see if they have a positive effect on my skin. Well, happy to say that one week later my skin has started to clear up a bit - I still have some breakouts, but my face isn't as puffy as it typically is, and my skin is sooooo much healthier after using these products. Like I said - Beauty Organix products are all made in-house. They also have a handful of other beauty product brands that are carefully selected and are only the best for your body. They have different face washes, deodorants, even makeup that's all picked with your overall body health in mind. Not only has coming here made a positive impact on my overall skin care routine and health, but it's impacted my eating habits and way of thinking as well! I've really started feeling so much better here overall since I've visited! I am so happy to give this great local spot my business and am looking forward to being a returning customer.
