I need to share a great experience I had today at Supercuts in Corona. I went in to get my hair colored, something I do every month or 2. 90% of the time I leave the salon I usually go to unhappy. For some reason, almost all of the hairstylists that color my hair end up staining my forehead and ears with hair color and it usually takes 2 to 3 days to fade. Today was different. I saw Kara in Corona and she was so attentive. She is a master of her craft and had a great vibe. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted it. It makes me wonder why no one else can get it right. I recommend this location and Kara without hesitation. Too bad I live in Arizona now. I will definitely be back here whenever I'm in town. read more

My husband made the mistake of walking into this Supercuts on Saturday afternoon and had the misfortune of a lifetime. He ended up in the chair of someone who apparently thought haircuts were an abstract art form. Sadly, he was too angry to get her name, but here's what we know: she's young, has dirty blonde/light brown hair, and sports facial piercings (the only one there with piercings). If you value your hair or your sanity, and she so much as looks at you, RUN. He asked for a simple fade. Simple! What did he get? A haircut so unbalanced it could double as a Picasso painting. One side was a fluffy low cut, and the other was buzzed down like she forgot to check her notes halfway through. When he pointed out that it was crooked (you know, like any reasonable person would), her response was, "Oh, this is just the rough draft." Rough draft? What are we doing here--writing essays or cutting hair? Things only got worse when she had to call in backup to salvage her "masterpiece." At that point, his hair was so far gone they had no choice but to give him a military cut, which is not what he walked in for. Long story short, he left looking like he enlisted in the Marines against his will. If you value symmetry, competence, or your dignity, avoid this place like the plague. Or at the very least, make sure you're not in her chair. This was not a haircut; it was a disaster! read more

I went in to get a haircut with my mom. The lady that helped my mom did a good job. Vicky who did my hair was nice. She washed my hair and went in to cut it. She mentioned how I had so much hair and it was long. I didn't realize she was done with the service because she left hair drenching wet. Didn't even towel it. Charged me $35 or $36. For that price I could've paid more and gone somewhere else where they would've dried it. The worst part is that when I came home and dried it I realized it was so uneven. I would've gone back but I'm afraid she will mess it up even more. I've put a picture below to show the terrible haircut. I do not recommend. read more

Horrible cut! I asked for a 1 on the sides with a line for comb over style. You can say I pretty much got a 1 on my sideburns only lol I laugh now but I was upset on the drive home. No line was done for combover style ... a hot towel was put on my head ( why I have no idea since not much hair was cut ) towel was removed and I had curls lmao .. they didn't even brush my hair, no gel , nothing. I could not believe it ... I was not going to argue... paid the $30 + $10 tip and ran. Paid another $30 next city over to correct the mess. Not sure this is a place for fades and combover styles. read more

I came with mother in law and sister in law to get a haircut, we just moved to this area so we were a lil hesitant to come to a new salon , we were greeted by a stylist named Clarissa and let me tell you , she's amazing by explaining the process listening to what the customer wants so nice and very welcoming! Because she made us feel so welcomed I decided to get a haircut as well she knew it has been a few yrs of me not getting anything done , she did an amazing job on my haircut, I left the salon with nice and healthy hair ! I hate to write a negative review (ever), but I was so unhappy with my experience here, I feel compelled to do so. My hope is that it could help someone who is considering getting their haircut here, change their mind. This was the absolute worst haircut I have ever received in my life. I went in looking for a trim. My hair was to my shoulders, but I just wanted to clean up the ends. The woman who usually cuts my hair wasn't there anymore (turns out, she had quit the week before), so I figured I would give someone else a chance. The new woman who cut my hair was friendly and sweet but did not listen to a word I said. I told her to START LONG and to show me how much she is going to chop before doing it. She must have gotten distracted because she did NOT check in with me and the next thing I know, she chopped 3 inches off and my hair was chin length. The worst part about it is that it was not even straight -- one side is noticeably 1/2 - 3/4 inches longer than the other side. There were long pieces sticking out randomly and she just cut it blunt in the back. It looks like a bowl cut and even a month later, I am still devastated. Because it is so short, there is no way to "fix" it unless I am willing to have someone take more off the length. Luckily I work from home so can hide inside until it grows out, but seriously DO NOT go to this salon. Especially if you have long hair, DO NOT RISK IT. Go to a nice salon like Aveda or someone you trust who will listen to what you say and not just get scissors happy. I would pay any amount of money to have my hair back and wish I had not gone here just to save a few dollars. Never again! read more

My eyes are swollen shut from crying. Their stylist ruined my hair. I have long hair halfway down my back but it is very thin, so I don't have very much of it. Now half of what I had is gone. I've been trying to grow my hair long for 22 years. I get regular trims, spend thousands of dollars on different treatments, supplements, oils and expensive products. After my second child was born my hair fell out in the front its been 8 years and it barely grows but it's not noticeable when my hair is down so I wear it down. This stylist said he was going to frame my face a little bit and it would look great. Well it looks like a mullet. Considering how thin my hair is, he literally took half of it in the front and I look awful. It's blunt and not blended so it looks like my hair broke off in the front. Day 2 and I still can't stop crying. I'm going to have to cut it all off .. 22 years of growth. Don't get your hair cut here. You'll regret it. Biggest mistake of my life. I don't even want a refund. NOTHING CAN MAKE THIS RIGHT NOTHING. Also, the right side is way shorter than the left if I wanted it to be even I'd have to cut all of it to my jaw bone. Halfway down my back to my Jaw bone.. all I wanted was a half inch trim. This literally feels like my life is ruined. I can't see past it. My hair was everything to my self esteem and they're both gone. read more

I had a 10am appointment this morning with Kara to do my cut and color. When I arrived exactly at 10am, the other girl in the salon told me that Kara doesn't start until 10:30. When Kara finally came out from the back, she told me that she was going to help with the 8 walk-ins first before she could work on my hair. So much for my appointment at 10am. It was more important to serve the walk-ins, some of whom arrived AFTER me. If this girl owned this salon, she would know that running it this way she would go out of business really fast. When she told me that she didn't know what time she would be able to take me, I decided to give my $200 to another salon. read more

I expressed my desire to not take too much off the length because I want to grow it out and so she recommended a deep conditioner keratin treatment which left my hair feeling AMAZINGLY soft. I'm very disappointed and upset because after my 6 year old son got a haircut here, he had an infection on his scalp. The haircut was very nice and I forgot who cut his hair but the place was empty at the time and we were the only ones there. When my husband said it mist be Supercuts, I denied it saying that maybe he got hurt from school. My son had painful pimples along the top of his scalp and they hurt when he showered and oozed through the weekend and are now scabbing up and flaky. I took him to the doctor and it is a bacterial infection through contact and the doctor confirmed that these happen from haircuts from places that aren't sanitary. I'm just upset that the haircut here cost double of what we usually pay at Great Clips and they don't even keep things sanitary and clean. I will never go back here again because of this unfortunate experiences for my boy. Poor boy had to deal with all this stuff. It was his first clip cut on the top of his head. Sanitary, clean health is so important in any beauty/health business. You would think that a simple haircut clip business would train their employees to keep things extra clean. It could have been any man with any infection or bacteria that transferred onto my 6 year old child. read more
