Another lady, who I assumed was the owner/manager came and took over, taking care of the flakes and giving me the result I wanted. When done, she offered to not charge me, and wouldn't accept a tip. While the flakes were unfortunate, I appreciate the customer service and that they fixed the issue.

All of the little styling add ons come a la carte and there is a menu above the cash register with the services available and the cost per service. This salon is located in a strip mall plaza that is next to Lowe's, Starbucks, Burger King and a number of other no name spots. The area is relatively clean and easily accessible from the main road. The staff promptly helped me and were very courteous. The haircut didn't take very long at all. I just wish that the stylist had told me ahead of time that her equipment was inadequate to give me a close to the skin shave with the ability to fade it up. I arrived 3:55 pm and was told she'd be right with me. 25 minutes later she was still with her current customer. She never acknowledged me, apologized for the delay, nothing. When she finally made eye contact, she looked at me like I was bothering the living h--- out of her being there and proceeded to continue with her current customer and discuss shampoos. They walked over to the display, she was 6ft away from me and still no acknowledgement. I got up and walked out. probably made her day. As a woman, let me just say that he left with one of the sharpest cuts/looks I've ever seen him have. This was better than any hair cut he's ever got at Great Clips or the like. 3 on top, 2 on the sides is his standard cut. The barber took his time making sure every edge and corner was perfectly straight. He was meticulous about perfecting the look and not just getting him out of the chair to take the next client. My boyfriend also got a straight razor shave. His first ever! The barber started with an electric razor before perfecting the shave with the razor. Hot towels and a neck massage ended this barber shop experience. 30 minutes in the chair and $25 plus tip was worth every minute and penny for such a top notch cut and shave. My boyfriend said he might finally have some understanding why I enjoy pedicures. Ahh, the pampered life! Gentlemen, if you are in Palm Bay or Melbourne, then you should go check them out.
