I got my hair cut last week. Really enjoyed Jesse. I decided over the weekend that I needed more cut on the top. I went in today. I was told no problem we will fix you up. The young lady who I got today was very friendly. I told her I wanted about an inch off the top area. She proceeded to give me an all over cut that is the shortest I have ever had my hair cut. I am embarrassed at how short my hair is. I am not overly feminine but I now look like a man. read more

I showed up as a walk in a full hour before their closing time and was turned away because they had five people waiting and anticipating being busy until their closing time. Any place that I've worked in a retail environment, we didn't turn away customers as long as they were inside the doors before closing time. It's called work. It's called providing for your customers when you advertise to them that you'll be there to help them by a certain time. Service providers are getting lazier and lazier. And you want tips? So I am very particular about how my hair and goatee look. Very particular. Kenedy Smith gets it!!! She always takes the time to make sure that I'm happy. I have numerous times watched her finishing up with other clients and her attention to detail is worth so much more than supercuts charges. Highly recommend going to see Kenedy if you'd like a big money salon experience without the price tag. Salon is always clean and the bottled water is free and cold (as are the mints). When calling ahead all of the girls are always super nice when I ask about my stylists schedule. Can't say enough positive things about all these girls and the business they run. read more

Jessie was awesome! She did a FANTASTIC job on my beard. She took her time, was extremely careful and I love how she free-handed it. Most stylist I've been to just wack it off with a numbered guide and send me on my way. She shaped it and molded it so it looked it's best. Not only that, she was very friendly and easy to talk to. I will definitely be back again to see her! The store itself was clean and well kept. Jessie's station was professional, clean and organized. Oh, and I loved her skull and crossbone scissors. Super cool. The other staff was friendly and attentive. I *highly* recommend this location, at least if you're a man needing a beard trim! I don't usually write reviews, but after my experience with Jesse, I had to make an account just to write one! I was there a few days ago and she checked off every box I had when it comes to a stylist! I've had terrible haircuts in the past here, but I got a new stylist every time and I just chalked it up to them being new or it was the first time they've ever cutting my hair, but I will be back to see Jesse from here on out! She was the only one to really welcome me into the salon (which I appreciated immensely). When I sat down and explained exactly what I wanted, she listened to every word and let me finish explaining my haircut before saying anything. She asked questions, that I've never been asked before, making sure that I got exactly what I wanted and even asked what I didn't want. She showed me MULTIPLE pictures to visually show me what she had in mind. She explained exactly why certain things I wanted wouldn't work for me. She took her time to make sure it turned out perfect. When I've been to others there or even other chain salons, I feel like I get a 10-minute haircut and then it's over. She was very easy to talk to and made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed and gave me the perfect cut. I know she's been there for a while because she's the only one I really recognize anymore, but for almost 6 years! Wow! Please don't let her slip away! Every time I find a stylist, they almost always end up leaving. Maybe that says more about me than them. Haha. But it was the best experience I've had in a very long time and I'm just so thankful I got to meet such a beautiful soul with an amazing talent! My husband had a stylist there for years who did a great job cutting his hair. Unfortunately she moved and referred him to the manager for cuts. The first cut left him looking like Moe from the three stooges. Today she left him looking like the cartoon character Hey Arnold. He had to go to our neighbor who is a retired stylist to fix the mistakes. The neighbor said it was the worst cut she had ever seen. He won't be back. read more

Disclaimer: I have not received services from this place. I went to get my split ends trimmed, and I saw online that the place closed at 5. I got to this place at 4:36 pm and saw that there were 2 people already sitting (one man and one woman). There was no one at the desk, so I sat and waited on them to greet me. Shortly thereafter, one of the stylists asked if I wanted a service today, I responded yes, and she said they cannot help me since they close at 5, and the wait would be longer than 30 minutes. It has been my experience that if you walked into a business well before it closed, you could still get serviced. How long can it take to trim ends? I don't know what the quality of their work is, but based off their poor service, I guess I will never find out. I will not be returning back to this place. read more

Relocating to Central Illinois 2 yrs ago, I was doubtful of finding a really great hair stylist, like the one I had in the Chicago area. I was used to going to a high end 'Salon & Spa' and paying $$$$ for a shampoo and cut/style. With trepidation I called this Supercuts on the recommendation of my niece--because it is a haircut and if it is horrible it will grow back (believe me I have had some horrible haircuts over the years) WHAT A SURPRISE!! This salon is clean, up to date, lovely place to relax. My stylist--Yes she is now -MY STYLIST-Stephanie is FANTASTIC. Gives me a great cut every time, listens to what I want, is professional and an expert stylist. Quick and efficient. I never know how I want my hair to be done seeing as how I'm bad at visuals. I mean, I would love my hair to be like those cool dudes in anime, but I know those don't exist in the real world (Life's hard). Whenever I go to a barber, I tell them to be creative with my hair and to cut it short. And that's what my barber did; she cut it a bit shorter than I would have wanted it, but I definitely appreciate the fast service. It cost me $17.50 including tip. read more

I went in today for a quick trim only to to be sexually harassed by the hairdresser. He seemed incredibly friendly initially only for me to realize he was using the usual small talk to determine whether or not I was interested in him. I informed him that I have a girlfriend and that I'm faithful but he preceded to make advances towards me. He made disparaging jokes about his own appearance, fishing for compliments and even informing me that he (a perfectly healthy looking 22 year old man) was using botox. He also made remarks about how lonely he is and his desperate attempts to find companionship at the bar. After these disturbing insights into his personal life, no doubt a cry for help, he not only called me "hot" but "just his type". The entire situation was incredibly unprofessional and frankly depressing to see someone so insecure that they're willing to risk their job just to get a superfluous comment from a stranger. At the time, I thought it was funny that he was hitting on me. But the more I think about it, the more unacceptable his behavior becomes. read more

I went to supercut for first time it was such a bad experience. One specific lady was so rude to me who was my hairstylist. I did not know who to ask since it was my first. The problem she did not do good job and when I asked her to modify she said" but you told me earlier to do this" the modification was not big and moreover she was not listening to me,It was very crowded that day and I think she was very cranked up.I felt so bad that feel like leaving without having haircut. I did not wanted to create scene may be I should have to talk manage right there. I think even her colleague were stating at her since she was saying " what do you mean". My husband and I have been going here for years. Not only is the staff incredibly friendly, but the service is spot on and it's very clean. I can honestly say that I have only had one subpar haircut from there, but now I just call ahead to see if Stephanie is working. She's the best stylist there in my opinion, but my husband has had a few others that he says also do a great job. I love the fact that the stylists here seem to remain the same, which I know in this industry, there tends to be a lot of turnover, so the owners and management are doing something right to make the employees happy.
