Ella does such a great job! I've come to her more than once, and she's just excellent. Did excellent color, too! This location is great, because there's a lighter customer load, so it's easier to find someone available on short notice. Highly recommend. read more

Unfortunately my mom went in today and got butchered. She specifically told the lady not to use the clippers on her and she went ahead and did it any way resulting in a rash and a small cut. She used to go to a guy that worked there that no longer does that she loved. Supercuts, listen to your clients! Do better. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Worst customer service and hair stylist EVER! The hair stylist does not know how to cut period. Took my kids here for hair cut. I walked out with my son and my daughter with crooked hair. It's the worst hair cut ever. Oh also we walked out with soaked wet hair for my daughter. I asked if they can dry her hair and the "stylist" said no dry bc they will charge extra $20... Worst customer service what kind of a hair salon lets customer walk out with wet hair that her shirt was all wet. I contacted and asked for a refund and they said "no refund / I don't care" I feel so so bad for kids for taking them to the worse hair stylist ever. Avoid going to the worst hair stylist and service ever! read more

My son Had an appt for 3 pm on a Sunday. Wasn't seen till 4pm. Told the stylist what he wanted, ok everything fine. Took forever for the stylist to come back just to be told, is it ok with you if you come back tomorrow at 1. Explained to the stylist that are appoint was 3, is not our fault that he wasn't seen till 4. We were then told, oh well that just means that you are signed IN at the time, it doesn't mean that you will be seen at that time. WTF. So then what's the point of calling in make an appointment? Very bad service. read more

Best hair experience Ever!!!! Ask for Scott, he was the complete package. He made me feel super comfortable, that I knew my hair was in good hands. I feel bad that my appointment took so long but there were some needed steps to get where we got my hair to be. I came in today as a walk-in for a regular cut (trim). I only paid 37 dollars for exactly what I needed which is a great price imo. Martha was very professional and nice. She offered to rinse my hair before the cut to assure she could section my hair properly since I have so much hair. She also offered to take the time to blow dry my hair a bit after. She cut off the desired length perfectly and didn't overdo it at all. If you want an efficient cut for long hair ask for Martha! The music was a vibe too -felt relaxed. read more

The man in the gray hair's customer service here comes off as extremely rude. He was not willing to cut my sons hair which I understand but it's the way he looked at my 2 year old son in disgust and turned us away. He said "I'm not willing to cut his hair". Sheesh!! Bye then. read more

I called the same day for an appt. (was able to get one half an hour later) which was perfect for my drive to the Burbank Supercuts. Martha cut my hair. She was patient, consulted me, dried out my bangs so I could see if it was short enough. Did a lovely job. Everyone was pleasant and this is the third time I've come to this store (since the Glendale Supercuts closed). Nice job, Martha! read more

ENOUGH WITH THE THINNING SHEARS!!! I've been coming here for years and I'm sorry to say I'll have to find a new place. 4 out 5 haircuts are great but then, out of nowhere, I'll get an overzealous stylist who sneaks in thinning shears before I can realize it. I have expressed on many occasions how bad this makes my hair look and have even gotten them to note in my profile for any future stylists to NOT use them when cutting my hair. I have no idea why so many stylists are foaming at the mouth to use these things. I have visibly VERY fine hair and there is no reason to ever think to use them on me. I am not picky at all about my haircuts but this is the one thing I ask they do not do. My hair is going to look like a dandy lion with mange for the next 3 months. It happened again today. When I realized what she was doing I asked her to stop and was met with strong resistance. She insisted it needed to be done to blend and texturize my hair and then attempted to continue cutting. I stopped her again and told her it does not work on my hair. She then said that's just because I need to wash my hair and use product... Yeah, sorry but I'm done. read more

The vibe was so off here from the moment we walked in!! Tall white guy, Hispanic girl with pastel pink hair and older Hispanic lady with blonde hair...tall dude checked us in...then older lady approached us asking if we had appts or were checked in, at that moment tall dude tells her "if they're sitting down they got checked already blah blah" lady got embarrassed so bad I felt awful he was so condensing towards her...then pink hair girl gets my second child for haircut and cuts me off as I'm explaining the haircut we want, I stopped myself from telling her off bc we really needed the haircuts but damn if any of you read this please check your attitudes!! And to that poor older lady so sorry you work with aholes! 2nd client that walked in also got a bit of the condescending treatment form tall dude...terrible miserable people...life's too short for your terrible attitudes. read more

Thank you Olga for your great service! My kid had so many knots and you were so kind and patient while you washed, detangled and cut her hair. There is a tall white guy with glasses working here on a Saturday morning who must really feel bad about the way his life turned out. He is the most RUDE and obnoxious person I have ever encountered in a salon. I was a NEW customer no less. Whoever manages this place needs to rethink this hire. I've been to many Supercuts. Never encountered a person like this working in one. Awful. Female and Asian guy - great. read more

Walked in yesterday to get my 10 y/o son's haircut. Angelica was the stylist. I explained to her that he has Autism/sensory issues and she did an amazing job making him feel comfortable, conversing with him and working with him the few times the vibrations from the trimmer were too intense for him. She gave him a fresh, clean traditional boys haircut and when we were finished he told her "I'd give this haircut a 5 out of 5 stars rating!" So, here we are. DON'T EVER GO HERE!!! I don't know what is going on in Burbank but I'm truly shocked! Back in the day this would have never happened nor would have it been tolerated. Talk about shifty, shady, dishonest, careless and unprofessional people. Let's make this one star minus 100! How does the SUPERCUTS company not have a clue of the bad customer service going on at this place. To let you know upfront, I'm looking into getting someones license revoked. They should shut this place down AGAIN and PERMENANTLY! I went in for a very simple and straight forward haircut. Short on the sides starting with a #1, blended to finger length at the top. A very common haircut. So I walk into this place and there were no customers there. The girl at the counter "Nina" had me sit down almost immediately, obviously because THERE WAS NO ONE THERE. She asked what I wanted and I explained it just as I always have several times before at various other places. As she was cutting my hair she seemed to be having trouble. I had to try to explain in better detail how I wanted the haircut and even still it didn't come out right. What should have been evenly blended around the sides from the bottom to the top was this lumpy uneven mess. At one point, she left the top looking like a mushroom and I had to again reexplain what was wrong with the haircut. Finally, I thought I had something close to at least a below average haircut, or so I thought. I paid the standard price plus I left a tip as I always do. As I was driving home I ran my hand down the back side of my head and felt a dip in my haircut. Can you guess what that dip was? That's right, it was a big fat gash in the back of my head that ran about 3-inches long by 1-inch wide where this incompetent ingoramus shaved my head bare down to the scalp. I thought this only happened on TV or in movies and there I was with this gaping spot in the back of my head. Thinking back as I was driving home I realized that she didn't show me the back of my head which is usually a common practice when you get your haircut and at that moment I realized why. She knew what she had done and still took my payment for the haircut plus the tip and let me walk out of that place looking the way I did. WHAT A THIEF! Talk about dishonest and cowardly. She obviously lacks class and integrity to the utmost degree. If I had butchered someones hair as she did to mine, I would have owned up to it, apologized to the customer, not charged them for the haircut and possibly offered a free haircut in the hopes the customer would be understanding. Did this happen? It sure didn't. We called later to give Supercuts a few words on what they had done. Nina answered and as we confronted her on her inappropriate, dishonest and unprofessional act she laughed as she handed the phone to her coworker. We finally managed to get the Manager on the other line talking to the person we were handed to and the Manager's response was "I don't have time, it's my day off". What a classy place this is not. So I say... CAUTION!!!! DON'T EVER GO HERE!!! EVER!!! Here's an interesting additional bit of information... I was looking over some of the other reviews and thought it was coincidental that there is one review "with 5 stars" by someone named Natalie. The manager at this Supercuts that said she doesn't have time to listen to my complaint is also named Natalie. Wondering if that great review by Natalie is the same person. Hmmm. read more

I've been a customer of supercuts for a while. I've been in a different branches, but this one is the only one that gives me a super horrible experience. The hairstylist by the name of Hyen ruined my day by making my hair looks terrible. She did not follow the instructions that I told her, instead, she did it the way she wanted it. The hairstylist from unknown parlor who charge way less than supercuts is way better than this lady. Supercuts should screen their applicants skills and capabilities prior to hiring. read more

Made a reservation for 8:45 am got there on time waited 15 minutes the person so because a person wanted to get there hair color pushed back all the appointments by 45 minutes or forced to go someone who I don't know were instead they should make an appointment for no I got to waste my time my services which is bad business products so easy they lost my business if they can't honor an reservation make someone set there 15 minutes were they could have easily squeezed me in I was getting my hair washed then my money is no good to them. Found another salon that washed hair 5 dollars which is ten dollars less and they take reservations and honor them now I understand why they've been so empty and they treat people the way they treated me. read more

UPDATED-- I spoke with the manager, Lisa, after my horrendous experience with Ninva, and she confirmed that Ninva did NOT use the correct technique to trim my hair, said she was new and did not follow correct protocol for long hair. I mentioned she should not be on the floor if she's not prepared and could possibly ruin someone's hair. I went in today and Lisa was wonderful, saw the mess Ninva made to my hair and fixed it without having to cut too much more off and she apologized profusely, as one does... I'll definitely be seeing Lisa (or Iris) again. And what do you know... There was Ninva. No apology, nothing, NOTHING. If I did that to someone, I'd be mortified and wouldn't be able to say I'm sorry enough. That's all it would have taken and would have gone a long way - big lesson she needs to learn, if you F'up OWN IT and apologize. Running to hide in the back room is not how to be professional adult! read more

My daughter had a great haircut by a gentleman there today. I didn't get his name, but he was really sweet and attentive. I took a star off because the website stated their was a 5 minute wait and I checked in with an expected reservation time which they were unable to meet since other clients were waiting. They did see us relatively quickly, I just wish their website information was accurate. read more

*Long-time (30 years) customer review* Iris has been cutting my hair for 30 years now, and she's the one that I trust the most to get things done right. Lisa is a great hairstylist! She is very personable, knowledgeable and listens carefully to your needs. Highly recommend her.

One of the most bizarre and terrible experiences of my entire life. I didn't catch the stylist's name because my haircut lasted all of 10 minutes. This stylist did not listen to what I wanted done and made decisions all on her own. She cut my hair the way she thought was appropriate for a "feminine" haircut and made strange comments about women who ask for more traditionally "masculine" cuts. I was almost glad I wasn't able to get a word in edgewise about what I wanted because she probably would have said something offensive. Somehow that wasn't the worst part - it was how touchy and in-my-face she was. She patted my back like we were lifelong friends about 30 seconds after I walked in. And during the haircut, she kept leaning down close to my face and whispering things in my ear. The whole thing felt like a fever dream. Needless to say, I was super uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. The other stylists here might be fantastic, but I will never know, because I will not be coming back! read more

Last week I went to super cuts and I normally don't expect much from this salons but Selina did An amazing job with my hair. I am so beyond happy with the result. She didn't rush, she took her time which I feel is what gave me this amazing result, also recommended hydro products which I purchased. She was such a sweet girl, I enjoyed not only the haircut but the great conversation. I will definitely be back ! read more

Possibly the worst experience I've ever had getting my haircut. The person that did it was extremely rude, cut me off trying to explain how I wanted my hair done, got in my face, talking very loudly, and the haircut was over in about 9 minutes, like she didn't really try. Actually embarrassing me in front of other people in the store. And I can't believe I paid 30$ for what she did. There is a Supercuts in Glendale I had a much better experience at, so I know it has more to do with whomever is running this specific store. Do not go here, take extra time to go someplace better. This was the closest one to me, but I realize now it was a mistake. read more
