My daughter and I went for hair trims and my daughter had a few tangles and needed extra time, maybe 15-20 minutes to brush her hair out. The stylist told me she would need to charge "a little extra" which I thought would be like an extra $10 or so. When I checked out the total was $76!! I was like, what???... She told me my haircut was $26 and my daughters haircut was $50!! I was NOT happy! I also still showed respect by tipping her $5 which really didn't want to. I couldn't believe I had to pay over $80 for 2 hair trims, I purposely go to Supercuts because I can't afford a fancy salon but now I'm thinking I need to start going somewhere else,,extremely disappointing. read more

Completely rude service. I called and they changed the policy to write your name down and take an appointment. So after refusing to take my name on the phone, she told me it was 20 minutes or so. When I arrived 10 minutes later for my son's cut, with my son, she indicated it may be 50 minutes or 35 minutes or she didn't know at that point. The only other stylist noticed my agitation and barked at me and asked if I had a problem. They both were rude to me and my son. They just lost a customer of 12 years. I went here on a Friday and it wasn't too busy I was able to make an appointment for about a half an hour before I was going to show up. All of the girls working were very friendly they were nice and I was able to jump in for a haircut and leave within about 15 minutes. Because I just got a haircut they only sprayed my hair down with a little bit of water which I already knew about and the total was $18. Definitely worth going if you just need a simple trim as a girl and if you need a nice clean shave if you're a guy. read more

The only complaint is that the hair cutter ladies all have big Buzoombas and have a tendency to get real close to my face..... So if you are weak in your purity, I suggest you close your eyes. I went to super cuts for the first time today. I brought a picture of the haircut I wanted. The hair stylist didn't rush at all - though two customers walked in after me and were waiting. She paid attention to detail with copying the picture. She asked my opinion throughout the entire process, reassuring she was doing what I wanted. my hair is very short - so it only took her about 15 minutes to cut. I would definitely go back. Probably one of the worst haircuts I've consistently gotten. Its nice that you can call ahead and reserve a slot but the stylists here pay little to no attention to detail. TL;DR: A chunk of the back of my head was shaved right to the skin, putting a visible notch in my hairline. I was told to feel my head when the service was complete but not shown with a mirror and did not discover the mistake until returning home. I was charged full price when they originally said it would be considered a touch-up. It started alright. They were only going to charge me for a touch up since I didn't want a full cut, only the back of my growing-out pixie cut shaved into a fade since the back of my hair grows much faster than the top. I explained in several different ways what I wanted, which, in my experience, is a clippers-over-comb technique, which does not require a guard since the comb acts as a guard. Several times I was asked what number guard I wanted. I told her I wanted the fade to start at skin level and blend into the hair at my crown. She continued to insist that I needed to pick a guard number. The woman performing the service got increasingly more agitated with me. She never rephrased her question or tried to better explain what she was asking, just repeated herself again and again with more and more poor attitude until she simply stopped talking and went silent. After some time spent cutting my hair, she brushed away the cut hair and told me to run my hand over it to see how it felt. She never reached for the mirror to show me and after I got home I found out *why*. A notch the length of my thumb had been shorn right out of my hairline, right down to the skin. Walked in at 2:45 w/ my 2 kiddos. Only 2 customers were getting cuts and no one else was waiting. They took our names and told us to sit. 5 minutes later, 2 customers came in and were seated. Understandably they had appointments but that was never communicated to me. I asked how long it would be and was told abt 15 mins. After 20 mins, one customers hair was cut and he and the hairdresser were chatting away despite the waiting area now being full. We walked out and won't be back. read more

Love this Supercuts. Key is (like anywhere else) find the stylist that does your service the way that you like and then you can request them every time. You'll leave with a nice cut or wax that doesn't cost a fortune every time. Ps. Quick background, I have crazy, curly hair which I am borderline obsessed with. I am extremely picky about my cuts and after 4 years of living in the area had not yet found a stylist I am comfortable with. I sent my boyfriend to Alycia after seeing what a great job she did on her brothers hair (he has the same hair as my boyfriend). She always does a fabulous job and he now will not go anywhere else. He suggested I go to her because she has true skill and is passionate about what she does. After I received a terrible haircut from an "elite" stylist who did her own thing without hearing what I was saying, I spent the next few months trying to fix it myself. I was mostly drunk in my attempts, and finally managed to screw it up royally. I decided to try Alycia. I have to admit, I was concerned about going to a Supercuts where I concidered most of the stylist were beginners and would not be able to handle my kind of hair. I was wrong. Alycia was amazing. She listened to everything I wanted and the result was exactly what I was looking for. She has a wonderful personality and is skilled with the scizzors! I waited a while to see if I still would like my cut and I absolutely love it. Ladies, if you are prejudging the chain hair salon, just give it a try. Horrible service horrible. I was told 30 min wait and when I arrived at store 3 people were ahead of me. 3 more people walked in after me and were all taken before me. They just totally forgot I was siting there. The cutter just told a customer a few people were ahead of them(which one of those people were me and then she took that customer before me. read more

I was very pleased with the service I received. I called and was seen the same day. I didn't have to wait even though I showed up a little early. Alycia cut my hair and she did a great job. She looked at the pics I brought in and match them. She was very quick and pleasant. This was the easiest hair cut I have had in awhile. I will definitely come back. read more

I have gotten a handful of cuts here in the past year, and its been a good experience until now, but had an unpleasant experience today. I went to see about getting a haircut at 5 PM and asked if there was time available, as they close at 6PM Saturdays. They took my name down and said it was busy but they would get me in if I put my name down. I came back in 20 and got the green light and said it would just be a moment. I waited for half an hour, only to be told I was the last person there who would be getting their haircut - which means I would wait at least another 20-30 minutes just to get started! I appreciate that they were staying longer, but the communication was terrible and misleading. Please communicate about timing when it is going to be so off! We have lives outside of getting our haircut and people and family waiting on us! read more
