I might've gotten my worst haircut in a while . I walked and had requested someone, but instead I get a different lady and then I'm like alright its fine I can manage. but then once she starts she is doing it a different way than normal because I've gone before. Then I found out she's new and had never cut my haircut before and was cutting it like I had a side part. then when I look at my hair it is all messed up and couldn't just cut my hair the way I asked. Then another lady tried to fix it but she couldn't because the new lady had cut it way way too short even though I told her that I didn't want it short and rather it be longer than shorter. The workers were nice and kind, but I find this unacceptable that I'm her test dummy to try her things that she hasn't done before. Terrible customer service for 4 years running. They unfortunately can not get staffed even during the best of times and it makes the staff very on edge just waiting for a confrontation. You need to online check in for an "appointment" but they have problems with the app not accepting your check in request .. So you get there and you have to wait like a walk in. Then about 3 minutes after you have sat down, they find you on the system! But you still have to wait. Haircuts are GREAT though! read more

Pressure too light with shampoo, and conditioner wasn't rinsed out all the way so my scalp itched until I could wash my hair again.. the things I specifically asked the hairdresser to do when blow drying my hair she didn't do, and I paid over $45 for a lot of nothing. I went back recently to give it 1 more shot. Once again it was rushed, and she hurt me for the second time. No one has ever done that but they have done it twice. Other Supercuts offer more services, and don't forget to ask you about the hot towel etc. read more

Let's face it, we all know that the quick haircut establishments are known for getting a haircut quickly, inexpensively, and without an appointment. They are not known for their expert hairdressers. Most of the people cutting hair are fresh out of hairdressing school and have to start somewhere. If you're going in for a "number 2 on the sides and a number 3 on the top" then yes, it's probably safe to give that a go. If you want a complex, precise haircut then it's hit or miss. I have gone there and gotten a great cut, and I have gone there and left very disappointed (like the time the young girl convinced me that having a totally different cut on each side of my head was "in fashion". Um, no.) If you do find someone who does a good job, be sure to ask for them in the future (which defeats the "quick cut" idea if you have to wait for a certain hairdresser, but worth your time if the cut is decent.) read more

Avoid at all costs, they survive on their location. Terrible customer service. I only go there to get my neck and side of hair cleaned up (when I am in a pinch), and they always treat me like there are 1000 other guests in front of me. When I call them, they tell me that there is no way they can communicate a wait time, and when I walk in they always tell me over an hour- they also tell me this with an attitude, like there's no way they would ever cut my hair that day. The few times I have been able to get in, they always leave me with a cookie-cutter haircut, similar to something someone off the street could do with a buzzer. read more

The only reason the place is still making money is the location and age group of customers (elder). I've given this place chance and chance again, that maybe it's me just asking for the wrong cut or they are having a bad day. You could put a picture in front of any of them of the cut you want, step by step instructions. They'll still botch you cut. Ok, I'm just going to be honest and hope for the best here.... Supercuts is a chain. I'm skeptical of chains. They tend to use regurgitated formulas for success and never really outshine their competitors. They feel complacent. But when I went to see Amanda M. (She has a chest tattoo and great personality) and got my haircut I had to rethink my perception of supercuts and its employees. She made me look and feel like $100! She's my girl from now. No wait time when I went in but there were only 2 hairdressers and it was definitely rushed!. It's $18 for a simple hair cut but if you want your hair dry before you leave you have to pay $26 plus tip. Definitely ridiculous. I'd probably only go again if i wanted a hair trim only and was in a rush. When I was leaving there was a huge line (around noon). They should get more staff! read more

Seriously for a hairdressers who advertises walk ins welcome we have never come here and been told yes sit down. Was actually in there one day, four hairdressers sitting around gabbing, zero customers and we still got turned away and told to make an appt. Wonder if the manager/owner is ever even there. I was very hesitant to come to SuperCuts for a haircut. But, since I'm on a college budget, I decided to try it out. The girl who cut my hair was so talkative and friendly, and asked me multiple times if I was happy with the cut. She made sure to listen to exactly what I wanted. We called in the morning for an appointment to get highlights and they told us to come at two. At 2:30 I had waited long enough, so I asked about the delay. Surprisingly the answer was that they don't take appointments for color! Then why did they tell us to come at two and didn't let us know when we arrived that we would have to wait? So stupid! I only go here once in a blue moon. I usually go to another place I have gone to for year. But, I will say this location is not far from home, and I missed out on seeing my regular hair dresser. I needed a cut and couldn't wait. So I went in. The woman that did my hair was fantastic and she was fun, nice, and knew what I wanted. She seemed to be able to pick up on my personality and we had a wonderful conversation. Her name is Brenda and she was great. My only disappointment was not getting my hair washed. It wasn't offered. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost of my hair cut which was only $6. I tipped her well because a tip on $6 was not enough to get a cup of Dunks coffee. She will be a great alternative to my regular place because she was fantastic and very efficient and I loved our conversation. read more

I've been taking my kids to Supercuts Acton for many years. Recently, I took them for a haircut and the manager, Amanda, misdiagnosed them with lice. I took them to their doctor, who confirmed one child has dandruff, but no one has lice. I informed Robin, the regional manager, that this happened, but never heard back. Worst haircut I've ever received. I had grown out my hair pretty long and I specifically told the hairdresser to only cut off my split ends or some of my dead hair. So she held my long hair up, and then said. I have to cut off this much...(& she showed a huge chunk of hair.) Me being stupid, I actually trusted her thinking that she was smart but she wasn't. I clearly only had 1.5 inches of damn hair to chop off and instead she chopped off 4-5 inches. I was very unpleased, it's like I had grown out all my hair for nothing.
