Vanilla and chocolate soft serve with a chocolate chip cookie
    Caitlin D.

This place deserves all of the hype... waited in a pretty long line for this double soft serve and cookie combo and it was worth it. One of the best soft serves I've ever had. The place was also very cute and within a pizza restaurant. Make sure to get here 30 minutes before opening so you can get a decent spot in line.

Wowowowow holy wow from the same guy that makes this amazing small batch pints, now he's slinging the best soft serve in the city! I usually don't like soft serve but WOW I'm blown away. I've had it 3 times now and every time it's so good. Especially when you order that AMAZING homemade chocolate chip cookie to go with it. Don't be intimidated by the line out the door. It moves fast. Congrats Briggs! You deserve it!

Tested out the new super witch soft serve spot! It is connected to Il Supremo Pizza, a small pizza spot. I didn't like how the entrance is through the pizza spot; it created an awkward vibe. They only serve soft serve or soft serve with a cookie. I must say, the cookie definitely carried the dessert. The soft serve is good but tasted like any old soft serve. The cookie was warm and gooey with great flavor. It was a bit pricey for what you get, but the portion is shareable. Parking is hard to come by as well on this street. The cookie à la mode was pretty good, but not worth the hype!

One of the best tasting cookie à la mode I've ever had. I'm glad that there's something like this in New Orleans. A very cute convenient and friendly spot. The saltines from the cookie was balanced by the sweetness from the ice cream. A great portion size and it's definitely shareable. The space is quite small especially they're being such a huge line that does go by pretty fast. Street parking only. I highly recommend and would come back.

Love love love this place. The cookie is soft in the middle. I've been getting super witch for a long time and I love that he has soft serve now! The vanilla mixed with the cookie flavors is amazing. the line can get pretty lengthy but it always goes by so quickly.

A lot of people know about Creole Creamery nearby, but it's usually so crowded, so this place would be a great alternative with a few seats and tables outside! I got a double scoop of the Lemon Berry Ice Box Pie flavor ice cream on a cone complimentary as a Yelp Elite Event perk, and we purchased a double scoop Cortado Crunch flavored ice cream also on a cone. Both flavors were delicious! I'm not sure who makes their ice cream, but they were both flavorful and rich in cream content. (Not watered down with little cream like the Blue Bunny brand!) Perfect for a hot summer evening!!

The customer service is fantastic. They give great recommendations. Gail's top priority though is their ingredients. The freshness of the product is key. I had a Satsuma sorbet and a Blackberry with crumbled cornbread scoop. They use local harvest in their product. That is a nice touch. Gail's has a nice variety of flavors. They have nostalgic flavors from our childhood too like Little Monsters and milk and cookies. The offer signature drinks too. The Lavender Chai Iced Coffee was delicious. The design of the stand is comfy and inviting. The days down here are hot, so if you are looking for a local treat that can cool you down. Get to Lakeview near City Park and have yourself a Gail's.

It was just one scoop of disappointment after another. First of all, the "black and gold" flavor that one of us was so excited to have again had freezer burn on it and the chicory flavor was way less pronounced; their king cake flavor was essentially just birthday cake with Mardi Gras-themed sprinkles in it. The other one of us ordered "sweater weather" and it basically tasted like you were mainlining nutmeg. Too intense! And the creole cream cheese just tasted like plain cream cheese--and not in a good way! Our daughter was happy with her cotton candy (blegh) cone. We would not exactly describe portions as generous. Also, it should be mentioned that it was around 50 degrees outside and they had the A/C on full blast in there. Yes, we understand you don't want to pump the heat up and melt the ice cream, but we were shivering. Very unpleasant! What a bummer because we had the fondest memories of Creole Creamery and now it's quite soured. Maybe we need to go back to the Garden District location on another trip, but three stars for now.

I love their fried chicken sandwich and their pancakes are on steroids - super girthy. Parking is off street. I didn't see an elevator or anything to get up the stairs in case you have someone that can't walk up them. There is a bathroom upstairs and downstairs. The staff were friendly, and the $9 croffle, which came out hot and fresh, was truly excellent and the highlight of the visit (a tip I got from another customer, not the staff). Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. I ordered the Shokupan (Japanese milk bread with ice cream and strawberries), which the menu clearly listed at $13. I was charged $15 on the receipt. When I brought this discrepancy to the associates, they explained that the price had been recently changed and the manager was "not good with technology," making them unable to correct the digital board. I explained that having a misleading price displayed at the point of sale is false advertisement and requested a simple $2 refund for the difference. The associates stated there was "nothing they could do" and suggested I speak to the owner. The owner came forward disgruntled. When I explained the situation, he did not apologize or attempt to de-escalate. Instead, he flatly stated there are no refunds, told me the price was $15, and tried to reprimand me for not accepting his verbal price correction after I had already been charged. He said it's not a big deal, prices change all the time, all this over two dollars, making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. The sheer lack of professionalism, transparency, and simple customer courtesy was staggering. The owner's refusal to honor the price they were actively advertising left a sour taste that no dessert could fix. To add insult to injury, the Shokupan itself was underwhelming and in my opinion, not worth the $15 I paid: just a big chunk of dry bread topped with a scoop of ice cream. While the croffle was a treat, I cannot in good conscience recommend giving business to an establishment whose owner is willing to cause a scene over a $2 error of his own making (although he eventually gave me the $2 refund) demonstrating a clear disregard for community and honest business practices.
