We scheduled Brian to come check out our chimney for the winter. He arrived promptly, introduced himself and came inside to begin.
The only issue was he was pulling his cleaning machine through our home and we asked him to wait while we could move 2 white rugs. He responded that he would lay a tarp down to protect the rugs. Laying a tarp down would be great, but he had already pulled the machine over one of the rugs as he entered the house and the machine was now setting on the other white rug in the living room in front of the fireplace.
So far no harm, no foul. I began moving the couch back in order to roll back the rug and mentioned that there was no need for the tarp, I would just move the rug because he had already positioned the machine on the rug. I asked Brian to please move the machine off the rug, I'll roll the rug back a bit and you can get started.
Then Brian said, "I think I'll go." I inquired why and he said..."If you are that picky about a rug, then I don't need to be cleaning your chimney!" I watched Brian load his equipment and drive away. Bye Brian.
Well yes Brian, I am that picky about an expensive rug and if that's the way you feel about your customers, then good luck. I will never call Brian again. read more
