I've been coming to Super Star Car Wash for quite some time now, and overall my experience has been a positive one. Most of the staff are friendly and consistent. There's a gentleman who always offers to shine my tires, and that kind of attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. Bree has always been amazing every time I've interacted with her, super helpful and always providing great customer service. That said, my visit today wasn't the best. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name, but she's a shorter Hispanic woman with glasses. Her customer service was noticeably off, and the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. When you work with the public, attitude matters just as much as the service itself, and this experience didn't reflect the standard I've come to expect here. However, I do want to give a big shout out to Bree for stepping in, taking care of the situation, and resolving it quickly. That level of professionalism is exactly why I continue to come back. I'm a monthly member and have never had an issue before, which is why this stood out. I'm hoping this was just an off day, but I do think it's important that all staff are aligned when it comes to customer service. Consistency is everything, especially for loyal customers. read more

I want to start positive, but this must stop! I don't know if the employees have a membership sign up quota, which would explain why there's always someone new, or they only hire rude millennials. MANAGEMENT, either STOP making the employees feel like they must harass people or teach them to accept NO! I literally avoid this occasion when I'm on the side of town, because of the staff. I determine which lane I pull in based the employees being busy bothering another customer. Positive: The wash cycle, price for single wash, even membership, and how long the wash cycle takes are all good. The line is typically long but moves. You will have a challenge finding a bay to dry or use the vacuums. And there's always someone without a placard in the single handi-stall, because there's no one enforce. It would be even quicker if they offered touchless payments. But, If you can get past the staff at the kiosk begging for membership, the process is really quick. read more

First of all as soon as I pull in the guy at the kiosk keeps bugging me to purchase the monthly membership I told him no but he kept pushing it. Finally I purchased a regular wash I pull up to wash the guy hiding me in isn't paying attention I told him are you sure it's on the track he said slurs but I can tell the way my truck was sitting it wasn't right. Halfway through the wash I hear a loud noise and my truck pulls to the side. Machine stops and the same guy says "why did you move the truck?" Which I didn't! So after I had to complain to management they gave me a refund but I noticed rim and tire damage after which they said "they are not responsible for" PLEASE DONT GO HERE! Super Star Car Wash is only two blocks from my house so I thought I'd give it a try. It was nice and spacious, a concern with my 2002 Lincoln Town Car. But afterwards when I parked in the vacuuming area I found that the front half of my car's hood was still dirty. Not partially washed --- IT HAD NOT BEEN WASHED AT ALL. It was still dry. You could see a distinct line of demarcation between the dirty part and the part that had been cleaned. So I spoke to the attendant so I could either get my money back or get a free re-wash. But what did she say? "You got the $10 wash," as if I should expect my car to only be 3/4 clean. I admit that my car had been very dirty and I didn't expect it to come out 100% clean with the cheapest wash. What I didn't expect was that 1/4 of my car would be untouched by soap and water. I tried to explain this to her but she was either uninterested or just plain stupid, and refused to come close enough to my car to see the part that had not been cleaned. She just kept repeating "You got the $10 wash!" as if to say "Duh, Karen! What do you expect if you're too cheap to wash your dirty old car!" Disgusted, I drove five miles to Costco and for $7.99 my entire car was clean and sparkling. In the end I basically paid $10 to use the vacuum cleaner at Super Star Car Wash. read more

New Member, at this car wash, honestly I wasn't prepared for today. Came to the car wash after work and I hadn't realized my car paint got scraped. AFTER drying my car i realized the scrape in my front bumper and I had reported the accident to the staff thinking the car wash had done my bumper bad, but a staff member Prince went all out to try to help understand my situation. After the conversation I knew the accident wasn't from this location, Prince helped clear the smudges making it look clean once again. The issue with this place is that they allow too many vehicles in at the same time. If the exit bottle necks, this will not allow the vehicles inside to exit as the conveyer is still moving. Causing some vehicles to bump into each other. Filing a claim with them will get you no where. As they just expect you to use your insurance to pay for damages since they will not take responsibility. Plus, canceling your auto payment is a nightmare. They will not cancel your subscription as asked and hold your account on pause. They call it " like having a lucky penny ". So now one would have to get a new card sent so that they stop charging you even though you have requested to cancel. Customer service is the worst! Management is the worst! And even returning to this same spot and trying to remedy the situation, their own management is frustrated with the short staff they have to work with. Eventually this will happen to you. As Management mentioned that car accidents happen very frequently due to the bottle neck on weekends. I also filed a report with Better Business Bureau. read more

I went to the one on PCH yesterday, it was closed, came to Crenshaw today, closed. I'm a member and neither are super close to work or home so it's pretty disappointing when I drive there and they are shut down during business hours and then am later into rush hour traffic. Certain vacuums aren't functional half the time. My daughter is not a member- PCH is on her way home from work so it is convenient but she told me yesterday she hates going there because of how much time is spent trying to sell her on membership. That's too bad. I got membership when they first opened so it's pretty worth it for me but it's hard to recommend with so many flaws. read more

I felt scammed because I couldn't back up, there was 2 cars behind me and the girl outside was VERY pushy about signing up and just cancelling later. I REALLY would have paid for someone else to wash it if that's the case. But 1 single wash is $20 or get the membership for $23?! First time going here and was made very welcome by Prince he explained everything reminded me of the free air freshener and dash wipes even handed them to me, being unsure of the place I went with the basic wash as I do at every new car wash just as a ref point and I was impressed with the result, went to vacuum the car and found are blasters and free drying towels to use. They play a message over a bullhorn on repeat all day saying that customers only have five minutes to in the vacuum area which is very disruptive to their neighbors (apartments and condos are within 100 feet). They've been asked multiple times to turn down their bullhorn but have failed to do so. Please consider visiting a different car wash. read more

The guy who signed me up for membership didn't provide the accurate information for pricing- it was a different price when it started, I notified them about this and they apologized and said that employee wasn't working there anymore & now they have a big sign of the real monthly charge so members are not confuse when they sign up. had a terrible experience at Gardena Car Wash last weekend. During a routine wash, my vehicle was hit from behind by another customer's car, causing noticeable damage. Shockingly, the driver left the scene, and when I reported it, the staff's response was incredibly disappointing. The first assistant, Cesar, didn't ask if I was okay or offer any apology for what happened. I was then assisted by Bryan, who informed me that the manager was unavailable, and I left without any meaningful support or guidance on how they planned to address the situation. I have sent emails with photos and video with enough proof of evidence and haven't received none response. Avoid this place. Very disappointed. read more

Anyways, pulled up and was surprised to see a person out there assisting people with selecting the correct car wash. I showed him my coupon and it wasn't clear which level car wash I was going to get so he wished me luck and sent me through. I ended up getting the best wash they have! They offer free microfiber towels (though the new ones were wet still) and free vacuums. I really enjoyed this place.
