Got a fabulous (as in: please don't tell me it's over!) massage by Tina for 60 minutes and loved every minute of it.

It ended up being one of the most relaxing experiences. I had a bad headache that day, and Sasa focused on my head massage, which helped a lot. I felt so much better afterward. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. They don't speak much English, but they are very open and accommodating to your needs. Their prices are on the more affordable side, so I highly recommend tipping generously if you're happy with the service. They do ask you to pay first, but I let them know I would add the tip after the service, and they were completely okay with that. I didn't feel pressured to tip in advance at all. The place is clean and neat. see the pictures for reference.

When I looked up, I saw she was on her phone, texting, and only using one hand to absentmindedly rub my head without paying attention to what she was doing. I immediately called her out, and she didn't deny it--she just told me to wait for another massage therapist. This experience made it clear that this business does not prioritize or respect its customers.

Very welcoming, spacious and friendly I've been twice now first time was the body massage I don't think they paid attention to the body areas that I filled out on the clipboard so the second time I got the foot massage and it's basically the same thing as paying for the body massage.. Only downfall is when it comes to giving tip. They never seem satisfied, even though I did tip a good amount.

I called, they were friend and could see me right away. Didn't ask my name because they had caller id. I arrived on time, the only one there, and waited 15 minutes. No big deal. It may have just opened for day. Explained to the front desk the areas I'd like to focus on. They said no problem. 6-10 chair beds in one dimly lit room, good ambiance. Another person came in right after me and they sat us directly next to each other until the other person requested space. Massage was good, had to request more pressure. I specifically pointed to the places I wanted focus (forearm, thumb/hand, calf, Achilles, and foot & ball of foot -- all on the left side.) (also lower neck and behind my left ear to loosen the muscle near my eustachian tube) not only do I feel the right side was given the most attention, my left calf and Achilles weren't touched at all. Lots of attention paid to the feet and between the toes, shoulders and neck were nice too, but not evenly distributed. There were also supposed to be hot stones, but I don't think that was even done when i was laying flat. All and all, maybe a good massage if you're just looking for a general feel good rub, but don't go expecting transformation or anything mind blowing.

Ok, here's a raw review for a DEEP TISSUE massage by a MALE massage therapist…read more I just left the this place. It's right on the outskirts of Oakland's Chinatown on a little gritty little street, but I didn't feel unsafe. The place its self is also gritty and not pretty. You need to pay up front and the rooms are bare boned with a curtain over each door for privacy. If you need spa music and mood lighting, you won't find it here, but if you're looking for a deep tissue massage that will leave you limp like a rag doll, this is the place! I specifically asked for a male massage therapist (masseur) and Ken was my massage therapist. I have extremely tight QL muscles that most massage therapists cannot or will not dig deep enough to find. It takes work digging into it. I showed Ken the sore spots and he IMMEDIATELY found it and worked on it for a good 30 minutes. It hurt, I'm not kidding, but it's the GOOD HURT you need to break up deep muscle adhesions. He used deep pressure throughout my body and found virtually every knot and adhesion. He did ask several times if the pressure was OK. He even found some on my scalp that I didn't know I had! The massage was incredible all around and I will absolutely be back for more massages!

This place is still open!…read more It may not look like it because the restaurant downstairs is boarded up, so it's a bit hard to find since it's on the 2nd floor & I think google maps shows it across the street, and the buzzer didn't seem to work, I had to call up to get in. I called for a same day late night massage on a Sunday, and they accommodated, even when I was running late. Yelp says they take credit cards, but when I got there he said cash only, so I had to go to the Chase a few blocks away. The foot & leg massage was good - the back massage half was pretty rough, but it did do the trick! I'm giving 4 stars because it did what I needed, and the price is affordable - now $40 for the 30 minutes foot & 30 minutes body. Though I'll keep trying other places in Chinatown looking for a massage that's a little smoother and also affordable. They could definitely make the space cozier, it was nice they played music & gave me a bottle of water.

This review is a bit overdue but I needed time to cool off because my experience at W Body & Foot…read moreSpa left me fuming. Yes, the space is beautiful and the staff was cordial, but the massage itself was terrible. I had been looking forward to this massage for days and from the beginning something felt off. They require you to pay before the massage and now I know why! This was hands down the worst massage I've ever had, and I've had many over the years. The masseuse had me undress, covered me with a sheet, and then proceeded to use their elbows to rub my body. They do not use their hands or oils to massage you. For the first 15 minutes, they were grinding their elbow into my spine, it was painful. I asked them to stop and ended the 60-minute massage early, something I've never done before. Due to a language barrier, I went to the front desk to explain the situation. Instead of handling it privately, she awkwardly brought the masseuse out and asked me to explain my complaint to them, which put me in an uncomfortable position. It felt intentional, as if to discourage me from pushing the issue. To make matters worse, I was handed what I initially thought was a voucher for another massage. When I asked for clarification, I was told it was actually just a $5 off coupon. This was insulting given the circumstances. I was not offered a refund of my $75, and more importantly my time was wasted. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere.

Had a great ClassPass experience, but called ahead to ask how much they typically expect for tips…read moresince it's not included in the reservation ($15-20 for 1 hr, $20-25 for 90mins is recommended). They have a sheet to circle ur focus spots on the front and back of ur body and then I was roomed after. The room was really clean and smelled good too with quiet tranquil music. I got a full hour massage and I think the masseuse really did take time on the focus zones and followed my preferred pressure level. She checked in a couple times as well which was nice. After the massage, I got dressed and had a cup of water in the front. The location is in a plaza so even if you go late at night, many shops are actually still open to peruse. Would recommend coming at night and treating yourself to window shopping too.
