We have owned this particular chain less than a month and it gets black, smells like metal despite how many times you clean it and/or polish. This jewelry shop is really cute and small but they have a lot of sterling silver pieces that have really fine details. I really want to come back and buy one of the hammerhead shark rings or octopus rings. They have a lot of really small, detailed sterling silver pendants that I have never seen before. They have a little something for everyone: chef, nurse, firefighter, dog or cat owners, fantasy/fairy, animal lovers, etc. I was in here for a good 30 minutes and didn't feel like I was being annoying or rushed out. I really wanted to leave with something so I bought a ram head pendant and a ring. I bought both for around $40. The ram head has really nice detail. It actually LOOKS like a ram. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was their ring selection. It is nothing like their pendant selection. I wish they had more eccentric, goth, or bolder choices to choose from. This shop has a plethora of sterling silver based pieces. No other metal in this place. I love that. It seems they have almost everything on sale, but to me, it seems like the sushi places that advertise 50% off rolls. All the time. lol! But, that's fine. The prices are a-ok. Lots of opal, Labradorite, and abalone (presumed red abalone) pieces. I left with a simple pair of abalone earrings. The sales gal polished the silver and gave me a small ziplock style bag to keep them in. She was friendly and helpful but not invasive. And we weren't rushed. Visiting this cute town for the first time, this store caught my eye. Most of the other places around are very high priced boutiques, and because I'm a silver fiend I thought I'd give this one a try. I was surprised at the reasonable prices, plus their selection is totally amazing - the best I've seen in a silver shop except in Mexico. They only carry silver and a few gold & copper pieces, no costume jewelry to sift through. A lot of their jewelry has stones of many types - turquoise, garnet, citrine, opal, amethyst, etc. And the rings...wish I'd gotten a pic, the ring shelves are almost the length of the store and layers deep. They have many in every size, from plain bands to wide ornate ones with different stones. The prices aren't marked, maybe because they have thousands of pieces, but the nice salesperson was available to quickly price check, along with giving me info on each. A posted sign said 30-60% off everything, which is probably a marketing thing because the "original prices" sounded pretty high. I frequently buy silver jewelry and am familiar with typical costs. Anyhoo, I chose a pretty silver and labradorite ring, chalcedony ring, and inlaid band that cost $35, 15, and 13, and got a 10% off discount for buying 3. Ive been wearing them and love the quality and perfect fit. I will probably be ordering from them online in the future since I dont live nearby but love the selection and prices. I stopped in this store originally for a box to give my daughter a gift in. It cost me a whole lot more than I would have liked to spend, she was saying it's their anniversary so they are marking everything down 50%. So I ended up buying a silver chain for $307.00, I got home and weighed the chain and saw the silver prices online. The chain was only worth $35.68. My advice to anyone is to buy from Amazon or anywhere else. This place wripped me off so bad that I'm embarrassed to tell anyone. read more

I love silver jewelry and I'm a sucker for a good tourist location shop on a relaxing day off. I stopped into the store randomly while walking to my car from the beach . Immediately thought to myself "gosh the layout and employee are so unpleasant, it really reminds me of that silver store in downtown Santa Cruz." Lo and behold, same name, seemingly same local chain. I laughed to myself. The layout is terrible. It's not possible for more than one person at a time to look at rings of the same size. Only two groups in the store can realistically fit at a time, and you'll be touching back to back as you shop. I'm sure it's no mistake, as they will watch you like a hawk unless you physically present in a specific way. Understandable for items sold by weight, but the "designer" - their words - set price items don't have their tags displayed visibly. The tone of the woman speaking to other customers was off-putting. It didn't feel worth it to poke the dragon and request prices for things in display cases. The selection is better in Santa Cruz, not that I'd go back. I saw a few nice pieces here but overall not great styles, not good prices, nothing you can't find elsewhere in a more comfortable environment. read more

Great store! Went there for the first time and the guy who helped us was very friendly. Due to Covid only two customers are allowed in the store at once and they do close for ten minutes in between customers in order to sanitize the store. They have a good selection of jewelry pieces and everything is well organized. I would definitely recommend visiting and will certainly be returning in the future. read more

They were not cheap, I splurged and bought myself for my birthday. They quickly became my favorite earrings. Earrings clasp broke within 2 months. I called and asked what my options were and received horrible customer service. "They can see if they can fix them in the store, simple fixes only, nothing like soldering. No exchanges, period. Me and my wife usually find somthing and come out happy spending under $100. I have never made a yelp review before for many reasons, but mostly because I have never had a worse experience than my time at this store. Not only was the staff rude and hostile, but my family and I were never given the chance to enter the store. Despite the outdoor sign allowing two customers in at a time, one woman spent 45 minutes in the store with no sense of urgency from the staff. We were patient and respectful, even going into other stores while we waited. After 30 minutes, we asked if one person could at least look around while the woman went back and forth about pricing. We were told no and that only one person was wanted, so we had no choice but to leave. We've noticed that the rings are made out of somewhat soft material and deform fairly easily. My GF owns other sterling silver rings not purchased from Super Silver which are very sturdy. I was very disappointed in my trip to one of my normally favorite silver shops. I am usually very happy with my purchases and I have visited the store during Covid and was content with my purchases. However, when I visited today one customer was before us and we waited outside the door. 15 minutes pass and the customer was still wandering around and unsure on her purchase. My group of 3 went to a different store, came back, and the lady was still walking around asking questions. We asked the employee if we could have one person from our group come in and look so we could get an idea of the products. The sign on the door said that they are allowing 2 customers in at a time so we believe our request to be reasonable. The employee rudely declined our reasonable request because she "preferred to only help one customer". Instead of compromising and offering to bring us a tray of rings to look at while we had been waiting patiently, she ignored us and talked on her phone. We were outraged that she didn't have the decency to encourage the customer to wait outside while she questioned her decisions or reminded the customer there are people waiting. After 45 MINUTES of waiting, our group left disappointed and outraged. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I do not recommend wasting your time for mediocre products. read more

during COVID, i completely understand restricting customers, but i am appalled at how awful the customer service was. i waited for 45 MINUTES to enter the store and was the front of the line the whole time. the sign said 2 customers per store, and when i first attempted to enter the store (only one customer was in there with one worker) it was met with a completely hostile and rude "you need to wait outside" and when i asked why when only one customer was in there, the worker said "well i only want one person". i have NEVER had a worse experience. the customer in the store was inconsiderate enough, given that there was a line and she was in there by herself, but the worker wouldn't compromise and let even one other customer in, even though that was the STORE POLICY. even when we asked, she wasn't able to let anyone in, with masks, social distancing, and all protocols in place. do not recommend spending money at the store since clearly they dont need the money or added sales. read more

My wife and son were visiting relatives in Santa Cruz last week, they found a silver ID bracelet for her cousin. My wife specifically asked about the return policy and was assured by the salesgirl that she had five days to return it (she never mentioned anything about store credit only ) as she wasn't sure her cousin would like it or even wear jewelry. Turned out that indeed her cousin didn't wear jewelry. They were leaving that day and came back the same afternoon to return it and were told that they could only get store credit. After a lengthy argument that included getting the general manager or owner on the phone, the store refused a refund. The bracelet now sits in a drawer in my sons bedroom. They suck! read more
