Shittiest shuttle ever. You have to wait for their shuttle to get full before you can leave for your reservation. Look elsewhere for your transportation if you don't want to waste your time waiting to get to your hotel. They should plan the shuttles and number of people ahead of time and coordinate all this as the service. It's not that hard to coordinate transportation. They're not scheduled, you go to the stand and they gather people just like all the others. Spent over an hour and half just getting people from different terminals and online they show it takes 15-20 to get to your hotel. None of the people filling the buses up and coordinating at the airport are pleasant either, which is why I rate them even worse. I feel bad for the drivers who probably don't get good tips considering everyone onboard is already pissed off When it's not their fault. Not convenient and not worth the time. I definitely won't be recommending this shuttle to any friends coming to Cancun. read more

I had a lot of reservations about the airport transfers that were booked on Orbitz. When we arrived in cancun, the supershuttle booth was easy to find. We gave them our names and they quickly located our reservation. They offered my mom a seat and gave her some water too. Within 10 minutes a full sized van was ready to take us to our hotel. A representative from orbitz later helped us to confirm the return trip. I was pleasantly surprised that everything went so smoothly. I would not hesitate to use supershuttle again read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Upon arrival, we waited 30 minutes in the heat for our shuttle to bring us to the hotel zone. Upon return, they asked us to be picked up THREE AND A HALF HOURS before out flight. I asked for an hour later and they flat out refused stating its a shared shuttle...which means we'll be circling the hotel zone for probably an hour picking up passengers before we head to the airport. I asked how much it would be for a private car upgrade. They never replied or called me. I asked for a refund since we took a taxi to the airport (sooo much better & cheaper: $25 for 4 people). They replied the NEXT DAY and said to contact our agency. Well, when we asked Orbitz for a refund, they said SuperShuttle said they set a time and we never showed so no refund. My advice, take a taxi both ways. If you're worried about safety, take a shuttle to the hotel (not SuperShuttle) and then take a taxi from your hotel to the airport. read more

This is a rip off service. You will see these blue vans all over the airport so you will get confused and think there's only one cab service in cancun. They charged me $55 to take us 3 to our hotel and boy! My hotel only charges $12 per person for pickup and if you take the ordinary cab, it is around $30. Save yourself some money and call your hotel to pick you up. Btw, the rate is for private taxi....they charge you depending on how far is your hotel. If you want it cheaper, you have to wait in line with everybody else....and you have to wait until all of those people who signed up for private taxi are dropped off. They also offered a shuttle that would cost $60 for my girlfriend and I but said we'd have to wait 30 minutes for it to fill up. I wish I had arranged transportation with the all inclusive resort, however, SuperShuttle was the easiest way for us to get to the resort since we didn't. When we realized Uber didn't operate at the airport, the majority of shuttles that we inquired with were already booked or only went to certain hotels, and the person from SuperShuttle was persistent. We negotiated and got a fair price for a round trip (45 mins each way) to the resort and back to the airport for about $65 before tip. We paid up front and they gave us a little ticket with the pick up date from the resort and details with a number to call in case we needed to make changes. We were a little skeptical about whether or not they would actually show up on the return date or if we would get screwed out of the money, BUT they showed up on time and the taxi drivers were both professional and friendly. read more

We were flat out told they did not do shuttle service to Tulum and we would have to pay $89 for a private taxi. It was already late evening at Cancun airport and we were willing to pay to get to our hotel faster. However, we ended up sitting around for almost an hour while other people trying to get to Tulum piled up. Finally we were told we would all be stuffed in a van together and shuttled. I immediately asked for a refund as I had paid for private service, and was denied. They said if I wanted money back I'd have to find a different company to take me. Fat chance, last minute on a Saturday night! I'm currently in the van and we've made three separate stops at resorts, totaling about half an hour of extra travel time on top of the hour we waited in the beginning. Now it's clear to me why there's no affordable shuttle service to Tulum advertised. It exists, but they will lie to your face, and then coerce you into astronomical fees under the guise of a private taxi. Best believe I will be bringing this up first thing tomorrow morning y'all. I wish I was able to give them -5 stars for the terrible service! So we booked them at the airport and the way to the hotel was fine but on the return trip -OMG! They didn't pick us up-why? Well they screwed up and went to a different hotel. They wrote down the correct hotel on my confirmation receipt but the driver went to a completely different hotel! When I called they told me we weren't there and I asked what hotel did the driver go to? Duh! Wrong place. I told them if they didn't pick us up from the correct hotel I could miss my flight. They didn't care. They said there is nothing we can do. I told them but it was YOUR mistake! I have the correct address and hotel that YOUR rep filled out. BEWARE!! I don't want what happened to me to happen to anyone else. It was my first time visiting Mexico. I specifically chose Super Shuttle because it was a company I knew and trusted. Or so I thought. I went to the super shuttle counter and asked for a shuttle ride to my hotel. They charged me almost $200 round trip for what I later found out should have been $40! When I contacted super shuttle about it they said I had to deal with the local company I booked it with. The fact that they don't take accountability for all their locations has definitely lost credibility with me. When communicating with the local company they said I paid for a private ride and if I took the ride they can't do anything about it. A PRIVATE ride?? With Supershuttle? Why would one person do that!? I obviously didn't ask for that and the counter representative NEVER said that either. I got in assuming we would pick up people along the way. I've emailed with them multiple times giving them opportunity to make this right and they refuse. Don't let this happen to you. Find another company to work with. I'm so disappointed in how they try to take advantage of you in Mexco and how Supershuttle cooperate doesn't take responsibility for their locations. read more

SUPER SHADY! Never have I ever been tricked and lied to, but there's a first for everything. ZERO stars is how I'd rate them. My flight landed in Cancun at around 4AM so the arrival area had very few salespeople for taxis and activities. Super Shuttle was the only taxi booth we saw that was opened and the sales lady got us. There was another guy just walking around asking if we needed a taxi, but we wanted to get roundtrip service so that we don't have to worry about calling for a taxi when we leave. The promo was 40% off and so the lady started doing calculations to show us and her fingers were moving super quick. What she was telling us didn't match what we calculated. When we were about to leave she said, "Look around, there's no one here but me" Another group passed by and she tried to hustle them and somehow they were helped at another booth. Then she said ok let me give you an additional 15% off because we had to get a private cab since there wasn't a collective option during the time. So she did quick fingers on the calculator again and the price didn't match the 15% off she claimed she was going to give us. We knew she tried to put it in the system, but her system didn't allow her to. Instead of being honest she was so adamant that the price shown on the calculator was the best price with the 15%. My boyfriend confronted her and she then admitted that she couldn't do it. We were tired so we booked it. She went over the details about when we will get picked up and blah blah blah. Pretty self explanatory since it isn't our first rodeo. Fast forward to pick up day, our pick up time was at 1:30PM. Boyfriend and I were in the lobby before 1 and waited. 1:30 came around we made our way in front of the hotel. A little after two o'clock we called super shuttle and they said "we're ONE minute away", an hour and a half later Super Shuttle was a no show! We called AGAIN and the lady over the phone claimed that the driver waited in front of the hotel and we weren't present. Obviously that wasn't the case because if they really did send out a driver, he would get out of the car and walk his ass into the hotel and asked for the name of the person whose name was on the confirmation list he was scheduled to pick up. We didn't even have to wait in front of the hotel because that's standard protocol for them to come in and look for us and not the other way around. We ended up taking cash out of the ATM ($13 fee) and pay for a taxi ($24 not including tip). We get to the airport, a group of people that were in line next to us had the SAME issue with Super Shuttle. Sucks for them, they were coming from Playa del Carmen which is a lot farther compared to where we were. Moral of the story is DON'T CHOOSE SUPER SHUTTLE AS YOUR FORM OF TRANSPORTATION WHEN YOU'RE IN QUINTANA ROO. Regrets always come last. End scene. read more

We booked them through Travelocity for a round trip to and from the airport, as we usually do when we vacation in Cancun. This is our third time visiting Cancun, but the first time Super Shuttle doesn't pick us up at the end of the trip because according to them, we never confirmed the pickup. We paid for it, wouldn't that be confirmation enough? And we never had confirmed it because Travelocity itself says no need to confirm. Luckily our flight wasn't until four hours after check-out, or we would have been in big trouble. Even the hotel concierge said he had never heard that one needs to confirm. The Super Shuttle guy on the phone was very rude, and said he simply doesn't have a ride for us and that's that. Even Travelocity tried convincing them to pick us up to avoid giving us a refund, but to no avail. We ended up getting a refund from Travelocity in the form of credit to use on the website. We booked over Expedia a private transfer to the resort in the Riviera Maya and upon arrival it was all good and smooth. However trying to book a return service to Cancun airport was not only frustrating but also deceiving. First we got an email saying that we can book for the same rate our return. Suddenly it was not possible unless we pay almost $30 more. The app and online booking only forces you to enter details including a return flight, which didn't apply because we were renting a car from the airport. All in all a very chaotic and misleading business system that I would only get again if I didn't have another option. read more

We did not have a great experience with super shuttle. They did their job of getting us from point a to point b, but the service was not good. We waited almost an hours to get on a shuttle from the airport to our destination. I had left my passport on the shuttle and I noticed immediately. I called the company to inform them so that they could contact the driver. I was told that they could not contact him because they did not have his most recent phone number, but that they will look when he gets back. They never looked and they never found it. Fast forward 2 days of caos later.....a young girl had found my passport in the same shuttle where I left it and kindly returned it to me. All they had to do was look, but they couldn't even do that. For my trip to Cancun, I did not book any transportation in advance and encountered the Super Shuttle stand outside the airport upon arrival. They quoted me 900 pesos to go to the Excellence resort in playa mujeres and reasoned that it is due to the 45+ min commute (which I don't think is 45+ min.) I tried to bargain sensing it is over priced and the guy offered a round trip for 1440 pesos. I just wanted to get to the resort asap and decided to give it a shot. The car was a private car and it was extremely clean. we didn't share it with anyone. I was issued a receipt and a ticket to hold on to for the return trip. For the return trip, I was nervous about a no show or a late pick up so I had the resort concierge call them to confirm. There was no trouble with the phone line, and they confirmed for a pick up the next day. And they did show up right on time the next day. So overall, I had a good experience with Super Shuttle. My suggestion would be to not book these transportation services in advance given that these services can be a hit or miss. They don't seem to be significantly cheaper if you book it online and in some bad scenarios people even end up loosing money if it is a no show. There are plenty of options at the airport for you to choose (and maybe even bargain). read more

Overall the service provided was good. Our driver was late picking us up on our return flight but this was understandable given that it was raining quite a bit that day. The reason for the less than stellar review is that when we arrived at the airport, They turned us over to a timeshare sales person. Having gone through this annoyance at every single Mexican resort town, I figured that booking directly with Super Shuttle would save me from this, it didn't. Not only where we turned over to a salesperson, we were given the wrong pickup location for our shuttle by that salesperson. ( probably in the hopes that another one of their colleagues would get a crack at selling us a timeshare). I'm not entirely sure how this company works as I booked through WhatsApp with a representative after receiving their number. I had to tell the rep several times that i did not feel comfortable sharing my credit card information via text. I then spoke to him directly on the phone and he took it that way. The pick up was ok, the driver seemed confused about our address (a group of 6 girls) after I shared explicit details about where the house was, along with the directions provided by our AirBnB host. We were dropped off at the location for our stay after about 10 minutes of confusion from the driver. We adjusted our pick up time with the rep via WhatsApp the day before leaving. He insisted we leave Tulum at 3am for a 9:40am flight, which was completely unnecessary. We adjusted our pick up time to 4am. At 4am on the day we were going to picked up, no driver arrived at our door. My group and I walked to the main road seeking the driver now anxious about getting to the airport. I tried to call and text the rep several times and after sifting through my email, found another number for the company. I spoke to a rep who told me that my group and I were not getting picked up and were marked as no shows although no one ever came to our door. We were forced to call three separate taxis (2 people each) for ourselves and our luggage. A total of $78 per taxi, on top of the $95 total that we wasted on Roundtrip service via SuperShuttle. Upon arriving the the airport I spoke to to a SuperShuttle agent who gave me an email address to use to explain the situation. I had to supply screenshots and proof us me calling at 4Am seeking our driver who had no way to contact us to tell us his location, and marked us as no shows. Once myself and the agent on email shared locations in Tulum it was clear that the driver was at the incorrect address. The agent lied and said that the driver confirm we stayed at a nearby retreat by speaking w/ the hotels receptionist when we NEVER stayed at a hotel in Mexico. I requested a refund and was told that they would see if they could authorize it. After following up for two days I now have no response. This was also the case when calling customer service to confirm the night before our return trip, then again when calling to question why our shuttle service hadn't arrived. Booked a last minute trip to tulum after not wanting to travel to southeast asia without knowing how the coronavirus would play out. ****************THIS IS A SCAM********************* Booked though expedia. Never had problem with their bookings. Arrived at the airport in cancun at 11:30am. Picked up our bags, confirmation said someone would be waiting, no one was. Found super shuttle stand and was given a sticker with a time of 12:30 and told "this was the time we established contact." Was told to go back to find to the entrance to find Tomas or Marco and they would get us in a shuttle. We walked back to the front left of the pickup area and were then told to stand in another line. Its funny now, but we were honestly told it was the "express line to tulum," and due to it being very busy and a shortage of cabs it would be 30-40 min wait. Waited 1.5 hrs in line, many, many upset people in front and behind us. poor guy (Tomas) working for the company was getting yelled at by everyone in the two lines they had us form. I started reading the reviews and realized it didn't look good for the return trip. I hope whoever reading this is not in the same boat. They have a number of excuses that people have previously stated. Poor Tomas was trying to justify why the line for private cabs next to us was moving at light speed while we stood around waiting. Bottom line is they don't have enough driviers and are cutting corners. Eventually, and probably because the guy at the head of the line seemed like he was going to assault Tomas, they put us in a car with 3 other groups (booking said no more than 2). Left at 2pm and arrived at 5pm for what was supposed to be a 90 minute drive, a little less than 6 hours after our plane deboarded and missing much of the sunlight/day. Knowing this would be an issue I called 48 hours prior to leaving our resort and no answer. Was put on hold for 30 mins and then someone would hang up. I emailed and the message was sent back to my account in error. We callled again 30 hours prior. Wife sent an email. We went to the front desk for our 500$ a night hotel and they mentioned this company was known for this. They were unable to get a hold of the company. Called expedia and was placed on hold for 40 mins while they tried to contact the company to no avail using the same numbers we were given. They emailed for 2 days and when I called back they stated their team was unable to get a hold of the company. Was told they would refund the shuttle if no one showed up. No one ever came. Obviously as already stated, had we known, or was this not last minute and there was more time for research I would't have booked. In the end, don't do it. Also, if you find yourself waiting in line for way too long, and you are surprised you got duped into buying a shuttle with this company, be nice to Tomas. That is a job I would never want. read more
