I had always received excellent service at Super Shine but I went yesterday, spent 27.00 and my car is dirty. There was no attention to detail. None of the cup holders were cleaned. I was in a time crunch and needed to clean my car in a pinch but, I was far from my usual spot. When I found this spot online the top reviews made me keep looking. Unfortunately there's no other spot near by so I had no choice. The car wash was fast. My car was clean. Finally the staff was helpful and friendly even going out of the way to help with an interior stain from my girlfriend's makeup. This car wash is located right on the corner of US1 and 97 Avenue; as a result, is very accessible and easy to get to as well. In the past I used to do some detail type work with them but over time I noticed that the quality of the detail has gone down some. Don't get me wrong they do an excellent job with normal washes assuming your car and paint is not in dire shape; however, if your car needs some aggressive detailing this may not the place you want to have that done. These guys are really good at all standard wash and wax type services from my perspective. A basic car wash with interior wipe down and possibly some Lexol in the seats, bug removal or carpet shampoo would be the extent of what I would have them do for me. This will run you anywhere between $20 - $60 dollars. For a real high end full detail type job there are some other options here in South Florida, some which are mobile, that do an amazing job and are pretty close cost wise to what Supershine charges for a full detail. I just think with the amount of cars coming through here on a daily basis, a detail job on your car may be rushed and not get the type of attention it requires leading to a rush job. If you are paying good money for a detail job that involves heavy waxing, oxidation removal and possibly paint correction you want the wash techs to take their time and do it right. That being said, I have been coming here for a number of years to get my cars washed and I am very happy with the standard wash services they provide. I will definitely keep coming as well. The owner is typically on site and provides very good recommendations when necessary as well. In my opinion, they are much better than some of the other options that are available in the area. Super Shine did a fantastic job repairing a leak in the trunk of my car and resurfaced and painted my car after it showed signs of oxidation. I appreciated Norgel's professionalism and honesty throughout the process. I especially appreciated Super Shine's completing the work within the estimated time frame. My only quip was that the person who escorted me home after I delivered my car for service forgot to wear his mask in the vehicle. This us a no no considering our county ranks #1 in Covid 19 related infections and deaths in Florida. Compare super shine to Autonation Honda. It took them four hours to "diagnose" and "repair" my leaky trunk---which they didn't. They try to upsell services that aren't necessary, and they don't consistently keep good records of the services I authorized. I have consirable doubts as to the competence of some staff and technicians. For me I will continue to use Supershine for my repair needs. read more

So the whole experience was funny, scary and confusing but had a good ending! ; ) We needed a hand washing place for my BF's car and I had seen this one a million times but never tried it so I told him let's give it a try! If you're coming South on US1 you have to go around to the right because the entrance on US 1 is blocked by orange cones. Here's our first bewildered moment! Secondly, when you are signaled (like an airplane about to take off) with multiple flying hand signals to keep going and enter the car wash tunnel you're asked to put your car in Neutral! I don't know about you but I have never had to put my car in neutral so it is not a comfortable feeling for me or my BF. Anyway, they have signs all over that day it and of course you still don't do it until your told by hand gestures that scream at you to do it, LOL!!! So we do as we're told and then go through the car wash hoping the car doesn't hit any of the oncoming guys that stand and walk in front of what seems to be a moving death machine in front of them! Both horrified and glad the car is getting cleaned at the same time, we see 3 guys going through it with sponges and get the car squeaky clean! Afterwards, you exit the vehicle and allow them to clean the inside. So, it was like getting on a ride you were hesitant to get on but we're glad and laughed it off at the end! I've been getting my car washed here for many many years. The guys in the wash area did an excellent job. Lately it seems the service in the front just isn't what it used to be! You used to get out of your car while it was washed and you could watch your car get washed from inside the air conditioned store. Ow you stay in the car during the wash same way you would in a cheap gas station car wash then you go to the dry station where the service goes downhill. I just left after paying $33 plus tip to have my SUV washed and as I'm driving away I'm looking at all the dust all over the front of my car. So much for getting the inside cleaned. The wipe down that is included in the service I paid for was not done nor were the front seats wiped down as I was told they would be. None of my carpets were put back in place. Just thrown haphazardly. Very disappointing visit. If I wanted sub par service I would have gone to a cheap car wash. read more

I read the reviews on this place and just wanted to clear some things up. I've been going here for almost a year now, and some days are really really good, and some days are iffy. I've noticed that if they're busy, they won't do that great of a job, but 80% of the time, my car comes out looking amazing. The lady that works here is super super nice. Keep up the good work. The only downside is that it's a little pricey, but I prefer this car wash over any other because they don't use the machinery to wash your car, so they don't ruin the paint on your car. Full disclosure: I get my car washed about once every two months. I don't really care about how dirty the outside gets--the inside is all that matters to me. The last time I got my car washed, I took it to the Dadeland car wash (about a block away from Super Shine). I got whatever special deal they were offering and ended up paying about $25 for a cleaning that was very disappointing. I didn't want to go back...I wouldn't...I won't. On any given day you can find VERY nice cars at Shine Star...I've seen multiple Ferraris, Bentleys and the occasional Maybach. Couldn't be that bad, could it? The answer is no, its not bad. Its great. The outside of my car looked fantastic, but the inside was immaculate. They vacuumed the floors, seats, floor mats, trunk...they cleaned EVERYTHING. Best yet--there were four people cleaning my lowly Nissan while there were four people cleaning the very pricey Mercedes next to it. Fantastic. Super Shine is a victory for the Marxian masses. Buyer beware: I was told my new car had "oil" on the outside car rim of tire and it needed to be passed by the hand wash system another time....knowing I would be charged a fee, I agreed....HOWEVER, I failed to ask the young lady for exactly how much.....can you believe they charged me for 2 total car washes....approximately $49 for a quick visit to the car wash....for 2 washes in 20 minutes. It was ridiculous - I had always seen the manager (Enir) and owner (you can't miss him - now they have an outside kiosk for this scam) trying to scam ppl by always charging more for bugs on front bumpers, etc...., but since I had been a customer for such a long time I didn't think I would be taken advantage of....well, THEY GOT ME this time, but they also LOST me as a customer...and when I took it up straight with the owner, he shrugged me off with an "I don't know what you are talking about!" I ordered the wash and hand wax for $65. First issue is that you don't know what the pricing is until you have already asked for what you want and gotten out of your car - not good. Second, they do not explain what is included with the service - will they vacuum? Treat your leather? Third, the attendant can't tell you which products they use to wash and wax your car - dish soap, tide, rocks? The wax they used is a brand called ardex. Fourth, they are fast, yes, but in this case speed kills... Missed spots on my rims and paint...too many to catch while your being hurried to move your car. It's bad when afterwards you have to touch up all these spots on your car. I wouldn't recommend. An automatic car wash can get your car just as clean and miss as many spots and cost less. I have regularly been to this car wash but today something atrocious happened. One of the signs in the entrance says "quick vacuum," and I went in that lane and paid the full cleaning services (both outside and inside) expecting the workers to do their job. As soon as one of the workers opened my car, they said it was "too dirty" and they couldn't complete the quick vacuum. As I had paid for it, and was not expecting much since my car was extremely dirty, I asked them to just do the best they could because my car was dirty. They said they couldn't complete the service and called the owner. When I went to talk to the owner, I told them their sign was misleading because they didn't actually do a quick vacuum, they didn't even try. He immediately began to raise his tone for no reason and said to me: "Who do you think you are, a lawyer?". I answered that I was, because I am, and he proceeded to tell me that he didn't want my money and he THREW my car keys at me. As I was leaving, he said again that he didn't want my money and that he wanted me out of there because he was richer than me. I never brought up my profession or how much money I make, and I was never rude to him or the workers. All I said was that their sign was misleading because all I wanted was a quick vacuum, as the sign said, and they couldn't even do that. I left the place truly repulsed at the attitude the owner of the place gave me. I have been a customer for years and have never had a problem until now. I will never come back here and will tell all my friends and family to never come back here either. I suggest you all do the same. read more

Thais car wash Gad average good service in the past but apparently in under new ownership. The staff is not courteous, everyone yells and they don't even allow you to get out of the car. Wow I can't believe all the negative reviews. Here's my take. I come here for a quick 10 minute car wash that is done by hand. I won't take my car to an automated carwash but more often than not I'm in a hurry and want things done quick. The guys here have the quick factor on lock, they hand wash, hand dry, vaccum and wipe down the inside of the car in record speed. For $20 (SUV) your car is clean and shiny in minutes. Yes you may find a better hand wash around town for $20 but there are also plenty that don't do as good of a job and regardless it is going to take 45 minutes to an hour. There is a reason you see a long line of very expensive luxury cars here every Saturday and Sunday morning. They cater to the neighboring Pinecrest customers who don't mind dropping $20 to get the dirt off their ride. This is not a detail place, at least as far as I know. If you have stains on your seats and carpets they are not going to solve that problem for $20, you need more of a detail. Even I was disappointed yesterday when I paid an extra $8 for bug removal and was greeted with bug reside on my headlights, grill and fog lights. They guy cleaned it up when I pointed it out but again, this is not their specialty. They vacuum the floor mats, seats, even the trunk and do a thorough job of wiping down the inside. They also give you little air fresheners to put under the seats (vanilla is the best one). Don't Waste Your Time!!!! At first I loved this place, they had great prices and through cleaning. The inside and outside of my car are usually quite clean, so slight work is needed. Originally I paid $25 to get the inside/outside cleaned, then $30. Recently I went April 2013. I was charged $20 and was pleasantly shocked. I went to pay and found out there was a misunderstanding and that it cost $29 to have the inside cleaned. That's right I had to pay about $53 to have a mostly clean car...cleaned. Hidden in a corner by 98th street and US1 lies this little gem of a car wash joint. Its small and sometimes it looks really busy, but believe me, they'll get you in and out in no time. Compared to other car washes, i like this one the best because its straight to the point...either you're there for a wash..or a wash+wax..no other combination..and its all cleaned in and out by a group of people..in other words its genuinely hand washed. And unlike the bigger, fancier, Car Wash on Bird and US1..this place has multiple people cleaning your car at the same time. On a busy weekend, I got in and out of there with a very clean car in less than 10 minutes.. "The" Car Wash, on the other hand, takes 30 minutes to an hour! You also earn a discount if you are a repeat customer. If you come back in 10 days or less, your next wash is $5 less...$4 off in 14 days..$3 off in 21 days..etc.. I've been here before and was charged less than $15 which is fine since it's a quick wash (something I can do but don't have the time) and the next time I come in I got ripped off and was charged $27. The worst car wash experience of my life. They said they wouldn't vacuum my car because it had dog hair in the back seat? My car has leather seats so it's literally a tiny bit. Almost didn't go to this places since the yelp rating was kinda bleh but I said screw it cause I live close. So when u go through the car wash u actually sit in the car while they do it so I could see they were doing a good job. They vacuum/wiped the interior which was dirty af due to split yogurt from babysitting a pair of twins. It was only $23 which included a free air freshener and some free shiny stuff for the outside since I was a first time customer. Lady at cash register was super cool.
