New year means starting fresh. And that also applies to my car. Decided to take my car to Mr Splash after hearing some good things about them. I'm not a car wash pro by any means and I usually take mine to the drive thru machine wash but I felt it needed a more in depth clean. I wanted a good vacuuming and a nice outside clean. Somehow I got talked into a deep inside cleaning. I understand that's the game and I said why not. I ended up with the deep interior wash. I ended up leaving my car and 3 hours later I came back after getting a call telling me my car was ready. The inside was very clean. Carpets were spotless and my seats looked brand new. They also did my trunk and I wasn't expecting that so the took everything out of my whole car and put it in bags and stuffed in my trunk. I wasn't bothered but just be warned they will do that. I had to go around with them and spotted some minor things here and there but they were nice and took care of it. With tip and all it was around $127. 3 weeks later my car still feels clean so I think it's worth the value. So I would recommend Mr Splash when looking to give you vehicle some good loving. read more

UPDATE: 5/26/2022 This review update is based off of their customer service and business integrity. Less than 24hrs after posting my experience the Owner of the company took it upon himself to give me call. Reasonably so, concerned about his companies reputation and a disappointed client. I admire that he took the time to call and chat with me about what had happened and how he could help correct the situation. He's asked for me to come back so they can clean my car again. As I stated before, this place is typically pretty busy so they must be doing something right. I'm looking forward to coming back on here and updating my review specifically on the cleanliness of my car. This simple gesture makes this whole experience feel less transactional. He cares about his customers and every customer matters. . . . . . . I considered this my go-to neighborhood car wash. It's always consistently busy during the week and since it's been taken over by new ownership (there was a local car wash there prior to Mr.splash) I had not had a chance to stop by and see what the new changes were like. When I dropped off my car you could say the interior of my car was relatively clean yet dusty and had scuff marks and the windows were dirty. They do have a check in system that is convenient. They check you in and send you a text once you've dropped off your car and send you a text once your car is ready for pick up. I do have to say thank you to the lady who waited for me to come get my car about 15min after she sent me my pick up text and not to mention they had also already closed. They needed my money and I needed my car lol but she was understanding. If you visit this car wash I would just suggest you check your vehicle before driving off. read more

Freddy was very nice and did an excellent job cleaning my car! I had been parked under a tree and had many leaves/ sticks stuck in crevices- he worked so hard and the inside + outside of my car was gleaming when I left. I think they should charge more for a handwash service- they only quoted me $30 and really scrubbed my car for 1.5 hours. Every person there seemed to be working hard. I've come here a few times before and I've tried for the last time. I pull up and yes my car was a bit dusty so the gentleman suggested the wax wash. Once they were done I pointed out a few things that were obviously missed. The first obvious one was that my dashboard was still dusty and the gentleman that charges said no worries, he'll go ahead and take care of it. As he proceeds to take care of it, asks if I have a car rag at home which I found odd of him to ask. I quickly realized it was his subtle way of him telling me I can do this myself. I politely said that I don't and I'm not sure what he meant by that. But if I'm paying for a job well done, who cares if I have a rag at home or not! I also pointed out a white mark on the lower grill of the car that could have been easily cleaned but he gave me some sad excuse that sadly that can't be removed. I'd have to come back and get a detailed wash in order to remove that since it's plastic. I knew that was a lie so I smiled, thanked him and left. As soon as I got home, I cleaned that spot on the front of my grill with the rag he so kindly gifted me. That saves me some money on detailing the car just to remove that. I also dried the wet streaks that were clearly left behind on the sides and back of the car. Along with two bird poop stains that were left behind. I can safely say I'm done coming back to this establishment. I've given it one too many tries but after today, no more. I'll be on the hunt for a better place where they actually care about having their customers happy and repeated services are their goal. read more

Needed a car wash desperately so I made my way to Las Brisas...which had a line out the driveway. Went across the street and found this gem! Still had a decent wait, but it was 100% hand wash. The guy who did my car was so thorough & whenever he found a ding or something let me know. My car was hit in a parking lot & had massive scratches on the bumper, which he also buffed out for me (not 100% gone, but tons better!). Docked one star because we agreed it would be $25 including the wax & rubbing compound, but when I got home & checked the receipts that was sent via text I was actually charged $30. I had already tipped in cash. I don't mind too much since he did a really good job & was super nice & chatty, but still a little annoying to be overcharged. They started washing my car when I noticed a sign that clearly stated a price of $20 for such vehicle. I confronted the employee, who gave me a bunch of non sense. Got a $40 car wash service here a couple of months ago. They seemed to do a good job cleaning it at the time - the car looked good - but they somehow left the interior cabin carpeting wet, as my car felt damp inside and smelled like shampoo for a couple of weeks after that, which I wrote off to probably just being an air freshener or something that they must have applied when they cleaned the interior. But then one day it suddenly started smelling rotten, of mold and mildew - that's when I noticed that all the carpeting beneath the floor mats was soaking wet and smelled bad. I've had to spend many hours of my time over the last several weeks going to gas stations to wet vac the interior and trying various techniques to dehumidify / dry it out to get rid of moisture and stench - difficult-to-impossible to do in Miami in the summertime. I've spent easily $50 and made several trips to Home Depot to buy deodorizers, several different Damp Rid products and anti-mold and mildew spray, all in order to try to correct the damage done by the sloppy work of the guy who did my car here. read more

I've been going to this location (1650 SW 27th Ave) to get my car washed for over two years. Loved the detailed service and nice, hard-working staff. I even recommended the place to many others. New owners came in and everything changed - the hard-working staff I knew all had left. Went yesterday and was quite disappointed. Brought my wife's car to get cleaned, but I didn't notice till after leaving that there was still bird poop all over the car roof and bugs on the front bumper. Did they even try?? It's too bad.
