Told me one price on the phone and charged me a higher price after I got my massage! I told the owner you didn't tell me that price, he proceeded to argue with me, I paid and left and I'll never go back read more

I basically paid to have oil put on my body. The massage was horrible. The lady was practically breathing down my neck. They should be investigated. read more

You knowit's bad when you leave a massage feeling more tense than you were before you got there. I've been here 4 times in hopes that each time was just a fluke. But today was the worst massage I've ever had. It was more like random rubbing mixed with poking followed by many wipe downs with cold towels. I started going here because the other Super Relax up the street closed. I eas hoping they were the same, but they are not. It is only $20, but you definitely get what you pay for. read more

This place has gone downhill fast! Rude, loud and filthy. One visit to their restroom and you will want to leave! Here's the kicker... The masseuses do not wash their hands between clients, YUK! I paid very close attention to this and know it to be true watching them first hand. Masseuses work while sick, coughing all over the place and sleep on the massage tables in-between clients without changing massage table towels/set-up, again, YUK! If you make an appointment for "female masseuse", the owner (too busy playing video games) acts like he didn't know and gives you a male masseuse. I realize this is a personal preference, but should be honored and respected none the less. Too many other CLEAN and NICE places around to patronize this one. read more

I used to recommend this place all the time, that is not the case anymore. Definitely don't leave this place feeling relaxed. Employees talking constantly, and the people waiting as well, super annoying that the manager doesn't ask them to keep it down. The towels they use on your face are the same ones they put on the pillow where your head and feet go. The quality of massage has dropped dramatically as well. The only reason I put 2 stars is cause you might get lucky with it being empty and possibly music. Definitely will not be returning. read more

The TRUTH about this place. I am quoting exactly what was said to me Today: Sept. 20th 2015. Whats makes me credible? I've been here over 10+ times so clearly I don't hate the place. The one star is due to the service provided to me Today. And honestly, one of the workers there "Cece" is really well worth the visit due to her skill and care that her customer is happy and comfortable. She pays attention to detail and that widely sets her apart from the many other workers there. Heres what happened: Cece wasn't available at a time convenient for me so I went to a girl name "Susan." I was not happy with the massage so instead of the usual $10-12 tip I give Cece, I gave Susan a $5 tip. (Keep in mind I still offered a 25% tip even without enjoying the massage.) Yes, the pleasures of a massage is based on a personal preference but it was her lack of care that became evident through the entire hour. It was one of those massages where she was trying to fill the time of the hour of doing constant pleasureless movements after asking her politely if she could please apply more pressure. But, the problem is: After giving the tip, she closely follows me to the front and throws my tip in front of the guy who sits behinds the desk. He said, "You need to give her 8 dollars, at least." I told him that I did not enjoy the massage and that is why I tipped $5. For a while he tried to rudely persuade me in front of a full room of other customers waiting, to give her more tip. I asked him why I was not informed that the $20 massage required an $8 min. tip, and he said "Everyone pays a min. of $28 total." Out of no where, he then tried to blame me for not telling him ahead of time that I wanted harder pressure on my back- which was completely irrelevant to our tip coversation. It should not be a problem that I asked while she was giving the massage to apply more pressure- Isn't that why they ask during the massage? A Tip should Not be required. Begging and embarrassing a unsatisfied costumer to tip more speaks loudly on the Lack Of Ethics about their business. Tips come from the generosity of customers and though I understand it is a tiring job, its only fair to assume a tip will vary depending on the satisfaction the customer feels. CONS: - Majority of the workers are just trying to pass time during your hour massage - He repeatedly stated, "You pay $20 for the massage but you MUST pay AT LEAST a $8 tip" - So your $20 massage just turned to $28+ - They inform about all extra 'required' payments/tips after the massage is done. - The last thing you want after massage is a confrontation from the front desk in front of a full room - The man sitting behind the desk neglects any kind of understanding for his customers and becomes extremely pushy - He also stated, requesting a specific person also means you have to pay $8 min. tip - This business lacks work ethics ***** ^ He and Susan is the reason for the ONE STAR ^ ***** PROS: - Cece is wonderful at her job and is very personably as well. - $28 for an hour massage is still relatively cheap compared to going to a spa - if you call them they can usually take you within the next hour or so Word to the buisness: I understand that it is a tiring job but it is unfair to your customers to be mislead with your $20/hr advertisement when you clearly expect at least $28. Today was not just a bad day because there are countless amount of reviews that have had the same problem that I did today. I would recommend being more honest with the amount of money you charge to make better relationships with your customers. I wish this to be nothing but constructive criticism and hope that these reviews that all state the same problem will make an impact in how you run your business. read more

Just got handed to me by the cutest little Asian lady ! :) I was so confused entering because I wasn't told much except to go meet my lady inside. In any case she started out massaging my shoulders as that's where I hold most of my stress. It hurt like hell but quite frantically I wasn't looking too much to relax rather than to get the knots out that I have been holding in my shoulders for last couple weeks. She giggled at me while I laid down and approached my feet (I guess I was suppose to take my socks off as they rinse them in warm water towards the beginning. I think the most relaxing part was the foot massage toward the end speaking of feet. I loved the hot stones (a tad on the hot side) but none the less I liked it particularly when used on my shoulders. The negative side is there is no curtain and so I felt a bit of lack of privacy. Finally, a little cup of hot tea at end and that was that. I gave her a 20 dollar tip. I think most people would agree on here these people deserve every cent. Quite frantically, if I want to relax I end up going to a high end place but if I want knots out, these massage places really manage to do that for me! In any case, that's just my opinion. read more

Just say yes! If you love deep tissue massages, go. If you love hot stone massages, go. If you're on the fence about a $20 massage, just go! I'm a massage connoisseur as my wallet will attest to. I actually have a system of getting massages based on location and my stress level. If I'm extremely stressed or I want to lounge with my girlfriends, Burke Williams or Dtox Day Spa is my place. If I'm having a bad week, Chandra Retreat (a lovely Thai place in Santa Monica) is my go-to. Need exfoliation? Wi Spa all the way. And now I've found my place for an end of day pick-me-up: Super Relax. Located in an unassuming strip mall in Chatsworth, Super Relax doesn't look like much from the outside (or to be perfectly frank...from the inside) but the charm is all in the people who work there. The people at the front desk are personable and friendly. My massage therapist was amazing (why didn't I get his name?!). He targeted the knots in my shoulders and continually checked in with me to make sure I was ok. He used hot stones and warm oil, which felt amazing and is unheard of for Chinese massage places. And he actually went over his 1 hour - who does that? Especially for $20? Overall I'm thrilled with this place. And regarding the tip, since that seems to be a big point for people, I personally tip $20. Yes it's 100% of the price, but if you think about it, the workers there are likely making just above minimum wage. For the level of work and skill they put into it, I think they should at least be paid $20-30/hour. So pay up, and please tip well. read more

Good massage and has hot stones. Only one star because they're extremely rude. They're not afraid to call you out if you don't tip them enough. (Even though you do) I wouldn't actually say call you out as more of a demand that you tip MORE. I'd rather you just charge me more than the $20 for the massage than rudely yell in my face about me not tipping enough. Would 100% never recommend and hope they understand that business should never be ran that way. read more

For a while now I've had these killer knots in my back and shoulders due in part to many different things: * carrying 30+ lbs of gear nightly for work * the stress of recently moving * the stress of recently ending a long term relationship (or more truthfully that relationship crashing and burning and imploding in a very dramatic sense) * the stress associated with drama at work * working 50+ hours a week * my daily commute of the 118 to the 5 to the 170 to the 101 * the stress associated with going back to school * feeling sick * sleeping in uncomfortable places such as the cot room or my car when my schedule is too hectic * balancing new bills in an effort to keep myself on the right track moneywise Yep, I DESPERATELY needed a massage, and a really, really, REALLY long hug. Thankfully I know someone that gives good hugs, but well...asking them for a massage would probably be kind of weird, so that's where a random stranger comes in! I walked in at about 130 with no appointment, thankfully they weren't too busy and we're able to see me right away. I was taken to the back, and having never been to a chinese massage place before it was interesting to see (as other yelpers have mentioned) that the chairs/beds are really close to each other. However, as other yelpers have also mentioned the workers here at Super Relax really try to keep your privacy as best as they can. The worker who initially helped me wrapped a towel tightly around me and held it as I removed my tank top and lowered my bra straps. He also provided me with a killer shoulder massage as my feet soaked in the hot water bucket. I'm not sure if English was his best skill, but working out the kinks in my shoulders certainly was. The right amount of pressure was used, and he was able to adjust (harder actually) to really make it feel good. I won't lie, at times it hurt, but I consider it to be the good hurt of really getting pressure on the points that were hurting me, so it was a welcome pain as I felt all the tension slowly dissipating. When it came time to lay down a woman took over for the man, not sure if that was standard or if it was just his lunch break or something, but she laid me down on the bed, unhooked my bra while covering me with warm towels and also provided a very intense back/neck/shoulder massage. This too felt amazing and she gave the knot the size of Canada in my left shoulder some extra attention. After the knot was taken care of the relaxation part really began to sink in. I found myself drifting in and out of slumber for a period of time, and I'm shocked there wasn't some drool on the floor underneath me. The hot stone portion of the massage was really amazing, probably my favorite part. As the stones were rubbed all over my back I honestly did not want it to stop. Shortly after this portion of the massage I was asked to turn over and given a fantastic head massage (ugh, I miss those, being single sucks sometimes!) as well as a lot more attention was paid to my arms, legs, and feet. The massage lasted the full hour, and was worth every penny (if not more!) of the $19.99 price (plus the tip of $14, which I considered to be fair). At the end I was offered a small cup of water, and the lady diligently protected my dignity with the towel as she helped redo my bra and helped me into my tank top. The atmosphere was relaxing with a cool dark room that was mostly quiet (the occasional ringing phone, or whispering from the workers did happen, but it was not distracting). The whole time I felt completely relaxed and not at all exposed and after a few good cracks of my neck I felt so much better. I would recommend Super Relax and look forward to coming back! read more

A few months ago, I'd give it three. But they got two new beds and the recliners have been replaced with recliners that have a hole for your face to go in. And I'm not giving it five because five is saved for when Burke Williams and Super Relax have a love child and I start going there. These people beat the crap out of you and you love it. I truly believe they are not happy until you squeal in pain. If you don't like that kind of massage, go to Burke Williams where they treat you like a delicate flower. If you DO like a little S&M with your massage, this place is beyond perfect. 1. What it costs: $20. What you get: One hour body massage. 2. Clothing: Bras will get undone and shirts lifted, but overall, you are fully clothed for it. Dress comfortably. Wear loose clothing. 3. Decor: The decor is more like a nail salon than a massage parlor, but the lights are low and you will be wincing too much to really notice, anyway. 4. Privacy: I think the table is an extra $10 and if you prefer the benefit of a curtain between you and other squealing patrons, it's worth a consideration. Otherwise, you turn your head and a complete stranger is grunting next to you. I got my next appointment for tonight and I am looking forward to pummeling my neck pain away. read more

Came here to get my neck massaged on April 19 2020 and the guy massaged every place but my neck! I got the $25 back, shoulders and neck but he instead chose to massage my legs and butt. He even lifted my leg in an awkward position which had no purpose at all. He proceeded to stretch my leg? and massage my back legs. I am never going back to this place. Disgusted read more

Great massage. They apply the just right amount of pressure. It's truly head to toe.. Kinda awkward because they will unhook your bra and even remove your shirt.. But nothing shows because you're lying on your tummy or when you're lying on your back, you're covered by a blanket. Plus all the other customers in there can't see anything anyways since their heads are tucked under or covered by a towel. Can't complain for $20 bucks!! Sooo worth it. Sometimes you can get slightly distracted by the talking at reception. But really, it comes with the cheap price. Your own private room is not worth the extra $100 bucks it would cost to go somewhere high end. Will definitely be back! Also they have a frequent customer card. After 10 massages, your next one is free! read more

hilarious shit goin on my last visit Was curtained off getting my ass worked over butt naked when I hear this moaning from an elderly asian guy. He yelped, moaned, and winced, and kept saying "Yao Ming, Yao MEEEEENG" whenever he was in pain. Because Yao Ming is strong or something. Busted out in laughter and in turn so did my therapist who was laughing in turn at me. It was surreal! Yao MING...YAO MEEEEENGHMMMMMM!!!! P.s.: I'd recommend someone, but they change women like they change underwear. Also, grab their buy 10 get one free massage cards. Use it each time they sign it. Forget saying something they wont understand except "Ok? Ok? OK?" Me: "yes OK; now work that monkey on my buck naked ass" read more

Is it weird that I willingly pay money to get my ass kicked? I can't resist. For only $20, I get an hour-long painful, yet glorious massage. This what John Mellencamp must have meant when he sang "Hurts So Good." Right on, John Mellencamp. The space is quiet, clean and pretty caIming. I still have no idea why they call it a 'foot' massage when in fact they work your whole body, head and neck. And they WORK IT. They crack, knead, rub, beat and pound the knots and tension out of you. It's great. I'll be sore for days, but it's the good kind of pain. And don't be scared: they're nice enough to ask if you're ok and if you need them to be more gentle if you don't like it rough. It's direct contact, so girls, wear a loose fitting shirt so they can move it as they massage. Guys, be prepared to take off your shirt. Relax. It's dark in there and half the people are passed out and snoring so no one is looking at you. There's no happy ending, other than the fact that it's over and you're relaxed, but they do give you hot tea afterwards to ease your aching muscles. I love this place. read more

I was introduced to Super Relax by a friend when he found out I had major back problems due to stress. He described it as "not your typical massage", but it would be well worth my $20.00. I didn't expect too much as he explained that we would be in a dimmed room with other clients(So do not expect a spa experience). As weird as I thought it was, everyone looked really relaxed. I went late at night, so the calmness of the room while the serene music played made me feel at ease. The experience was quite interesting. They start by dipping your feet in water and start massaging you from your feet and up. I never use to enjoy hard massages, but honestly it was AMAZING...my body felt great the next day and the pain was gone. My father complained of body aches, so I took him a few weeks later and he said he felt like new(He is VERY hard to impress). I didn't get the name of our therapists, but they were both female. It's a $20 massage for a whole hour. It's definitely worth trying!!! I would recommend making an appointment as it can get busy at night. read more

I keep trying this place but it's supposed to be a foot massage- I have yet to get one. They do a great job on your back if you want a deep tissue massage but if you are ready for pain- this is the place! As a person who's profession is to stand all day- a good foot massage is really what I want. Went last night, there was a "private room" session (just a curtain pulled around the massage chair) next to me and it was a man and a woman in there who were laughing and moaning the whole time. It not only was distracting but made me feel like something else was going on. This is NOT what I came here for. Plus the hot stones are nice if they actually use them longer than a minutes or two. Very very disappointing experience. read more

1 of the most painful, yet rejuvenating massages I've had in a looong time. I literally got my (_!_) kicked tonight, as I asked the masseuse to give me his full strength---because of all the tension and knots I had. I walked out discombobulated, BUT my headache and body aches went away! yaaaay! $30 for 1.5 hrs= d@mmmmmmn worth it. * just make sure you can handle pain, otherwise you probably would be crying. This place is really a hit or miss depending on which workers are there on any given day, however, I feel like it would be unfair to give them 3 stars based on if a worker really wants to work or not. Hence 4 my 4 stars and not 3. I will start with the Pros: The PRICE! $20 for a fully body hour massage that is great! The first time I went here a couple years back it was the greatest thing in my life! I was sore the next day but only because it had been my first massage in years! Since then I have been a repeat customer. You can get longer then a hour massage just by adding on what it would be. 1 HR: $20 1.5 HRS: $30 and so on. The relaxing environment. Once you walk in you are hit with relaxing music and instantly know to shut your phone off or put it on silent, don't talk loud, and just relax. Normally they will greet you and ask you how long and to have a seat as they get your area ready. The punch cards: (new) At least for me they are new,. if they had these years ago I was missing out! At the end of a full punch card you get a free massage. YES PLEASE! The Cons: #1 thing I hate and is the only reason I gave 4 stars. The mandatory tip. I realized this changed when one massage I got was really any hing but great. I could tell the entire time the person was just wanting to be done with the massage and rushing through it. So I tipped $5 on a $30 massage (1.5 hours) because I didn't feel that it was up to par. And the owner/ front desk guy looked at me and said I was to tip $10.... 0_0 what..... thought tip was to reward for a good job.... why not include it in the price and then give it to the workers? I don't know whatever, not that big of deal. Since then, if I am unhappy with it I instantly let the person know and have them adjust the massage. Overall this is the best bang for your buck in the valley of massages thus far. I recommend this place, just make sure you are ready to speak up if you aren't comfortable with the way they are massaging because they will get a tip either way. =] read more

This is the place to go when you want Your knots fixed and muscles smoothed out, not to have a peaceful and quiet experience. A "private" room is a curtain around your massage bed which is worth the extra money. The massages include hot stones, face and scalp massage, and hand and feet massage. They are very good at finding pressure points read more

$20 for an hour massage! Hot oil, hot stones, a lengthy back rub down! It was a happy camper and it wasn't even really for me. I surprised my mom with a massage for Mother's Day and she really enjoyed. It claims to be a "foot massage" which she was hoping for. I suppose they can focus and spend a little extra time on your feet (more than 10 seconds, I could say at least 20 minutes) but I was in heaven with the back rub. The hot stones were a very pleasant surprise. My mom was still very pleased and said she would totally come back (once a month, her words) and will just ask them to focus a little bit longer on her feet. I'm happy with just the way it was hahaha :) read more

The only thing about this place is the price, but you do get what you pay for! It was my first time here and I was excited to try it out since i've heard a lot of good things about this place. I went in on a Sunday and they were quite busy. When i finally went to the back I saw that they had beds in the middle in front of everyone, and the workers just cover you with a towel for you to take off your shirt, pants, etc. The massage was great, no complaints there. But after i got home i felt so dirty, since the place is NOT clean and they are reusing the same blankets and towels to cover people. A couple of days later, i ended up getting a rash on my arm and my leg. I went to the doctor and I got ring worm. No place is worth getting a skin rash, i will never be coming back to this place! Please be aware of this. read more

Went today for a massage. I havent been here for at least 3 years. It has changed for the better! My experience was AWESOME!! For $20.00, I got an hour massage. This isnt your ordinary chinese foot massage place....They have actual small comfy tables, not chairs. It is quiet, peaceful, serene music and the masseuses dont chit chat while working on you. Lyn is amazing! I wore a tank top (gotta love Dec in Cali) and some sweats. She actually had me take it off discretely, while covering me and massaged my whole upper and lower back( they usually massage you over your clothes), this was much better!! Then my arms, hands, legs, head, neck and face, yes face! You get so much for your money here. I am coming back now on a regular basis! read more

This was the first full body massage I got. Half of it was painful (Edna was right about the pain), the other half was soothing. I went Monday at 11 and the phone could not stop ringing with appointments (a sign a place is good), and there were maybe 6 customers at this little place. I don't think I would get a full body massage again though. I don't really enjoy the pain! Would prefer just to get a back massage from somewhere else. Felt really good on my neck, ass, and feet though. Everything else hurt. If you have a lot of knots in your body, this is probably for you. Paid 20 bucks for 60 minutes and left the 10 dollar tip. CONS- The place smells like fish! I smelled it the second I walked in! The workers tend to whisper to each other a lot which kind of takes away from the experience. read more

I've been here twice now and think I have enough information for a review. On the surface this place seems to be merely a foot massage place but, wait, theres more! For the low, low price of $20 you receive a full body massage including a nice soak in something mineral-y for your tootsies. Let me tell you, they do a fantastic job. I don't get knots particularly, I just enjoy the feeling of a massage and the stress relief. I can tell you that I am absolute jello after this. Now I've been here twice and amazingly had the same masseuse both times but I judging by how full the place always is and the amount of near comatose patrons, I'm guessing they all do a great job. Top off the massage with a nice green tea shot and for $20 plus tip you're golden. I'd recommend making an appointment since the two times I've been in there all the chairs are full. I've decided to make this a bi-monthly affair. The one that means twice per month. read more

You get what you pay for but they're are hidden costs. I like the fact that is a $20 massage place even though it's advertised 19.99 (they steal a penny every time). They listen if you don't need a harder or softer massage. The reason this gets one star is that that masseuse don't do anything bing outside they're told too; they say you 'have' to pay $5 when there is no real sign for it. On random days they'll charge you a $1 dollar card transaction fee. The manager on a random weekday yelled at me for canceling 1 person of a 3 people business when he knows I've come every month. All in all, you get what you pay for but with hidden costs. read more

Best $20 I've spent all week. I have no idea how people can give us a bad review it is a great deal. I'm visiting from Ventura and stumbled upon this place I wish I lived closer I'd be here more often. They were polite professional and really knew what they were doing. read more

"I died and went to heaven"!!!!!!!! All I can say is that you CANNOT get this type of massage anywhere else in the S.V.F. for the price. It was AWESOME!. I must admit at first I had my reservations about making an appt. but I read the reivews and they were all "right on the money". Everyone was very pleasant and tried very hard to please you. Looked a bit funky at first walking into a room full of bodies stretched out on leather recliners but once they intorduced me to "Yo Yo" I was "Super Relaxed". She was FABULOUS. I am now hooked forwever! You won't be disappointed. (Oh, they also serve you a sip of Jasmin tea at the end!) read more

This has always been my go to massage place since it's only 25/hour. I called today around 1:30 and asked what for the earliest time I could go. The man said 2pm so I got there around 2:02 and told the guy on the desk my name. I waited for about 15 minutes and wondered why they haven't called me since I have an appointment. The man apologized and said he accidentally gave my spot to a different "maria" but I could get a massage now if I wanted a man to massage me but if I wanted a woman, I have to wait for another 20 minutes. I said I would wait as I specifically told on the phone I want a woman to massage me. The man in the front apologized for the mix up and guided me to a "private" room with no extra charge. This is probably my 6th time coming here with mediocre massage but today I got Linda and she took all my knots away! She was using hard pressure; making my body make noises I've never heard before! The massage was painful here and there but boy, she can take all the stress and pain away. I will definitely come back for Linda. read more

No pain no gain... That saying is so appropriate in this case. I was in a whole lotta pain, but the good kind. You know what I mean? Get your mind out of the gutter! jk Anyway, pain was dished out but I gained a lot of relief from some seriously sore muscles and feet. I'm not hugely keen on guys touching me, but this dude seriously did some magic. I'm sure by the end of the session I was probably bruised all over from the deep kneading throughout my back. But the biggest surprise was just how good my feet felt afterwards. I've always suffered pain from my flatter than flat feet, but it's been a few weeks since my visit and my feet are still feeling the effects. The place is very unassuming since it's located in a strip mall. The windows are tinted/blacked out so as to add to the calm inside. They have the traditional instrumental string oriental music playing ever so softly inside to lull the clients to sleep. They have a nice little waiting area where you can prepare for the glorious pain that you're paying to receive. Behind the curtains is a barracks-like setting of massage beds and tables. I was a little taken aback at first since I felt there wasn't much privacy but I soon forgot all that once my session began. There are a couple of sections specifically curtained off for added privacy for what I assume is a more intensive session (get you minds out of the gutter, it's not that kind of place). When your session is complete, they give you a little cup of tea to help restore and hydrate you. And you get all this for $20! They do take walk-ins, but I suggest making an appointment, as there's nothing more disappointing than mentally getting prepared for the pain, only to be turned away. I would have given this place 5 stars except for the fact that the people there don't really seem to speak as much as grunt and point. I realize they have to keep things quiet so as to not disturb the clients, but a simple hello and smile is not too m uch to ask for is it? Regardless, I'll definitely be back. read more

Found this little gem a few years ago. It used to be $20/hr from when i first began to now $25/hour which is totally fine because you get a full hour body massage! The place is not super fancy but massages are great! It is a communal room with about 15 beds in it If you want a "private" session, they will pull a curtain around the bed and it is $10 more. I suggest for ladies to wear loose pants and a spaghetti strap shirt...makes it easier for the massage. So it starts off with you sitting on an ottoman with your feet soaking in hot water while they prep your bed. They will pull your straps down and tie a blanket around you to ensure coverage. They then massage your neck and upper back while you are sitting. Once that is done they lay you down face down and massage your entire back, arms, neck, head. They use hot stones for about a minute or two to massage your back. For ladies, they will pull your shirt down if wearing a spaghetti strap and unhook your bra. they will cover your with a blanket when appropriate. Then they flip you over, massage your feet, legs, arms, face and head. It is really relaxing. Once done they give you a cup of water and you are on your way. Would recommend if you aren't concerned about communal room...or like i sid pay an extra $10 and get a curtain pulled around. read more

My husband and I tried ths place based on Yelp reviews. We were not dissapointed. They literaly massage you from head to toe. The only negative was that the receptionist which I think was likely the owner or manager was talking on the phone most of the time. It was highly distracting. Overall still a good experience and a four star on our first visit. The second visit was just average so I'm lowering their rating. They have gotten more customers since our last visit. The place seems cheesy when full of people. read more

My shoulders and back are made up of 2 major muscle groups: Rocks and Rocks. It's rare that anyone can get in there and actually make a difference (and those sissys at the fancy smancy spots don't do me a bit of good). You leave your regular clothes on, but it doesn't matter, because they know what they are doing. There is stretching, massaging, elbow digging, and my masseuse had a great understanding of pressure points in my scalp, legs, shoulders, upper and lower back... can't say enough how much I love how I feel after. I went on my lunch break, furrowed brown, slight hunch from the pain in my shoulders and I left glowing, smiling, taller... Go and ask for Michelle. She will work you well. read more

I went to Super Relax to treat myself out and destress myself--a much needed destressing was for sure called for! I found this place here on Yelp and was impressed with their 4 1/2 star- rating. I couldn't wait to try it for myself! The outside look of the place doesn't exactly pop out at you. It's downright very easy to miss completely. Walking in, it looked like every other foot massage place that I've been to but even a tad more crowded as the room was fairly small. It started out differently with my masseuse having me put my feet in very little water (what kind of a foot soak is that?!--no herbs, bubbles, or anything, just plain little water!) and having me sit on the foor stool as she continuously beat my back to a pulp! I'm 5'2" with a small-medium frame, yet she was working my back harder than the men were getting it from the other masseuse! I tried to take the beating as much as I could; In fact, I didn't speak up until I was already laying on my tummy and her still relentlessly trying to kill every nerve I have back there. I politely asked her to soften her massages. She just smiles and kept up with her same strength. What differed from other Foot Massage places is that as I was on my tummy, she lifted my shirt and unhooked my bra to massage me with lotion. It's a pro and a con at the same time. I liked that my money is getting me more than what it gets at similar establishments (I hate the 'over-the-clothes-massage', but for $20 it's do-able); but it was somewhat uncomfortable because there were strange men surrounding me in chairs so close I can touch them, with their shirts off, and now my bra is unhooked next to them?! That's something I may not get used to. After she tortured and pinched my back and shoulders for what seemed like hours, and she tried to flatten my well-endowed buttocks, she moved onto my face (pretty relaxing for a change), and then to my head--w/c she scratched my scalp like I had lice problems! That was horrible! Then she did my arms and hands--that was soothing enough to almost make me forget the torment that my back and butt was in. Then on to my legs and thighs...she was very forceful there too, but I was grateful that her intesity had simmered a little, or else she could have easily snapped my leg bones! Finally....the foot massage, after 50 minutes since it's been in their minimal water "treatment" and loosely wrapped in a towel. For a foot place, she didn't put much emphasis on the foot massages. At exactly 59 minutes, she gets me up and said I'm done. I readied myself and my belongings as she handed me an itty-bitty cup of jasmine tea (a bigger cup could have seriously done), and I was off to make my $20 payment and leave tip to my hired torturer. So far, I can't quite decide whether to return to this place. I'm thinking to take my boyfriend over for his opinion--but if so, will definitely choose a different masseuse, and will try on a time when the place isn't as packed. P.S., grab the individually wrapped asian cookies on the table--it's pretty tasty! read more

Linda was fantastic. Really great 1 hour full body massage for only $25. They go from head to toe and really focus on your problem areas. I love how she ended mine with a long foot massage. Absolutely fantastic. It is a large room with many beds but I don't mind it at all. read more
