I experienced the EXACT same crap as many other have had here and on google reviews. I made an appointment and then showed up 3 minutes early. I paid for 1 hour in advance and in less than 5 minutues into the masage, she was getting text messages and then the 2 handed massage turned to one hand. I wanted a real massage not fuu fuu crap. This happend 30+ times with the same excuse "Sorry Busy today next time make an appointment" I did make an appointment. She left the room many times for phone calls and god know what else. She shorted me on time also to same of only 45 minutes and then demanded a big tip. For what? aftter i said somthing she got mad and basically did nothing else. I got dressed and left. Love this place. The staff is super friendly, and wonderful massages. They have the classic foot massage, and they also to full body massage in private rooms. I have been coming here for years and couldn't ask for a better local massage place. There is a gentleman here that gives amazing foot massage, even though it's way more than just the feet. I always look forward to my next visit, and have never had a bad experience here. I have received massages from most of the ladies that work here. They really know what they are doing here. This place is great for wellness. I visited Refreshing Massage for the first time a couple weeks ago for a 30 min foot massage Cindy did such a great job I have been back three times in the past two weeks. To give a little background I recently began my fitness journey and I've been working out daily. My muscles don't like me very much right now so to reduce soreness I get massages regularly. Went to get a massage but they advertise $15/45 which does not exist. I decided to get the $40 combo massage. They demanded the money upfront, I asked what if the massage is not good? I figured how bad it could be, then he asked only for cash. Let me start off by saying this was my first massage experience and I was super nervous to go, but felt totally happy I did after the fact. For years I have suffered from back pain and leg pain some from old sports injuries and some from being overweight and though I've always wanted to get a massage I've always been hesitant because first I'm overweight and always thought man there gonna run when they see me and then the obvious I worry people will think I'm some creeper trying to get someone to use me like I'm an arcade machine. (You get it) I've passed numerous massage places and have been so close, but today my lower back was killing me and I said forget it, let's just do it. I found the place closest to where I was as the time (I did pass a place that looked very shady so I kept going) and I just ripped off the bandaid and just made myself go in. Easy parking middle afternoon, small little place in a small shopping strip. Ok now Point of no return... I'm inside. The lighting was darker, obviously to give the slumber relaxing mood. There's a front desk and I was greeted right away. I asked what it cost for a massage. Not sure if there's a lingo for this, hey I'm a rookie. Haha. It was $40 for 1 hour and I think $60 for 90 minutes I got the 1hr mainly cause I was still a little bit nervous. Anyways they take you back to a room and tell you that your supposed to get completely undressed and lay down but I don't know who was there before me and all that, so I was like can I keep the boxers, no problem you can keep the undies, on your choice. Or maybe they were saving themselves from all of this and no undies... haha either way I was more comfortable with them on. the massage was everything I've been missing that I always knew I wanted but I was to chicken to get out of my own way. It was a little rough at times but my back needed it. She used her arms and hands, climbed up on the table at times, and she used hot oils and stones, and even a hot towel, it was awesome, an hour never went by so quick in my life, I almost was like wait take all my money keep going till tomorrow. But I didn't. It was super hard, but I was like hey rookie, pull it together, next time you can get 90 minutes... Anyways, I did get over my fear and know I will be back. Thank you Anna you have a gift and I was truly thankful for the service you provided. Man I couldn't last 10 minutes in her shoes. Glad I get to be on the table instead. I didn't review this place until afterwards, but I just want to say, I saw a few people who didn't have a optimal experience or even one who had a crazy experience. All I can say is, there was no funny business going on when I was there, and I am truly happy to have chosen them as my first massage. Ugh. I (a woman) went alone a couple times and had a good experience. Sent my hubby. Twice he went asking for the $20 one hour foot massage. Both times they tried to take him to the back room and charge him $40. Both times he left. So we went together. They seemed confused by the fact that he wanted the deal that they advertise but they didn't give us any resistance. Yesterday we went again. Again they seemed confused by him going in FOR THE DEAL THEY FRIGGIN ADVERTISE but again they complied. For about a minute. Then another guy came in and the woman who was about to start my husband's massage escorted the guy to the back. Then the guy who was about to start my massage told my husband it would be about 20 minutes and would he wait. Um, no. So I guess if you're a dude looking for a happy ending, this is the place for you. If you're looking for a legit massage, try Capital Relaxation a block away. While I actually preferred Refreshing Massage, at least at Capital Relaxation I don't have to worry about where the massagers hands have been. Yuck. read more

It's really unfortunate I have to write this review. I originally loved this place. Jenny specifically. (She's amazing) Today I went in to get a massage and when I walked in a lady was sitting in between this old mans legs facing towards him (75 at the youngest) . I brushed it off thinking perhaps I was hallucinating. Then she started peeling mangos and feeding them to him. I thought... Ok this is weird and VERY uncomfortable. Apparently he didn't like the mango so then comes the banana. Of course it got worse. I look over while I'm getting my massage and there is a towel on his lap and she's rubbing his p*n!s while they giggled and whispered . (Mind you he's sitting up with his legs open. ) At that point I was absolutely disgusted and got up to leave. The lady rushed over and apologized and told me she would take him to the back and that is exactly what she did. Off they went to the back as if this all was normal. After I paid they had the nerve to ask for a tip. I honestly thought crap like this only happened in movies. I'm disgusted. read more
