Both were okay -- fresh, toasted, and crispy (maybe a little too toasted). The croissant was huge, which was a nice surprise, but it wasn't buttered, which I definitely prefer. I also wish they had more bagel options available when I went, and I'm personally not a fan of applying my own cream cheese -- part of the bagel experience for me is having it done for you. It also seems like the only add-on option now is cream cheese, which is a little disappointing if you're hoping for a full sandwich or variety. On the plus side, there's parking right outside, which is always appreciated. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, just not great either. Hidden up there is the farm with pigs, chickens, a pony, sheep and goats with personality. The farm shop sells feed bags and we had a good time feeding the gentle goats. There are lots of well spaced picnic tables and even a couple of children's swing in a tree. In the farm store are edible goodies for any foodie. We left with a ripe Camembert cheese, salami, tea bread and crackers. I have to eat gluten-free but they had enough of a selection to make me happy. They also sell their own home grown veggies. I plan to make this a regular stop.
