The store offers a large array of items for cooking, spices, key essentials ingredients for south Asian dishes and more. All I have to say about this place is "expired products" Products such as poultry is sitting there past due . And when you tell them this they tell their customer go buy your product somewhere else. Rude and slow customer service. The Associate that told me was very kind to let me know that this product was expired and when the manager is informed they give you the worst look and tell their customer to go buy it from someone else. Very bad experience.I bought meat in bulk and I was watching the guy what he is doing.he cut first leg piece of meat and put in the corner.and start cutting the half meat removing fat.one more guy with glasses was watching me ,she is keep looking at him.then in their own langugae he told him I'm watching him so be careful. Then started moving around me. They thought I was blind or stupid does not know what they doing. After he cut meat then he brought the leg price to cut becoz I was keep watching him. But very unbelievable these people so called Muslims specially.they r not afraid of eating HARAM. The guy with glasses was laughing. Glasses guy behavior was strange and I can realize what he is trying to do. After cutring all meat the tiny fatty worker hid the meat area by stand infront me and drop in the container towards customer glass side. And then put meat sitting on bench in the bag. I mean how much can these people fill up their hunger, family , kids.what after eating this haraam you get cancer.Allah punish u. After baging meat the glasses meat worker came to me he saw me upset and ask me what happened. Why he came to me Bcoz he knew I caught them doing. Wrong. Customer service here is very poor at this Pakistani store. Namra was on duty at the counter and with an bad attitude & doesn't care about the customer. I came here from 8 miles away after calling and talking to the butcher. I asked him if the meat is ORGANIC halal specifically and he said yes it is. I confirmed and confirmed on the phone and he confirmed back. When I got there they had nothing to do with organic. I take my family drive 16 mins drive to Springfield. I walk in get to the butcher counter and stand awkwardly for a couple of mins watching three guys cutting meat wait for someone to say can I help you. I looked up at the price list there was no mention of organic anything! I got a nod greet at first then the butcher from the phone came to help us. Once I got their attention i asked for the organic meat and he started rambling something about how all meat is not organic and they get shots etc... and his meat is "natural" and good. And saying he did not say it's organic but then saying he has organic in the fridge. I asked for any proof and nothing. If you are selling halal you better be an honest person how can I trust you with the other things. THIS IS FOOD. Do not go here! 1) They told me they didn't have lamb meat. When I asked a second time, they came out with lamb meat. However, I was not even given an option for the cut I wanted. I didn't want to bother them because they looked angry, so I said nothing. 2) They tried to make me buy 3 pounds but I only needed 1, so I bought 2 pounds as a compromise. They scowled and complained that I was not buying more. 3) They ended up overcharging me for the meat. 4) I came home and the meat had hair in it. Lots of black human hair, which I hope is not pubic, but I can't be sure!!! This place is filthy and the workers are rude. The cashier was very nice, but the men in the back were very rude and did not even want to sell me their meat. The selection they have for all grocery items is actually really amazing. Compared to the others in the area, i.e. Halalco, I find this one to be better stocked, cleaner, great prices, and a lot of diverse variety on what they sell. I often do my full shop for Pakistani/Arab/Indian groceries here. Their selection of Desi tea is amazing! I am a vegetarian so can't comment on their halal meat, but my husband is a big meat eater and will only get his halal meat from here. He says it just feels cleaner and fresher. Please do not go here if you are looking to buy meat. Not worth it. The butcher was rude when I told him I wasn't looking for whole chicken and just wanted little pieces of it. He tells me they don't give a specific amount of chicken and sell whole chicken after cutting the whole thing and never really had the patience to tell me that's how they do it.I was so disappointed that I had to pay for the whole thing, though I didn't need it.
