Well, they were half right, anyway. Shortly into my visit, I asked a worker called Brian -- his nametag read "Brain" which is unlikely, probably just spelled it wrong -- which aisle I could find flavored seltzer in. He gave me a stink eye from under the bill of his oversized little leaguer baseball cap and said "what are you hard of reading, mam? We have directories posted all over the store and I'm too busy to take your hand and walk you there!" His exact words which left me in disbelief. I guess he was having one of those days and took it out on me. So I asked to speak to his manager. He chortled, I am the manager, toots!" So, I told my daughter who witnessed the entire exchange, time to go as the idiots are obviously running the village. I left the cart and my daughter decided to fall back and return the items in it. I waited out in the car. When Sia, my daughter, came out she was in tears. She told me the same guy, Brian/Brain called out to her a creepy "Me so horny" as he stalked behind her. He actually said this to a 15 year old girl who just so happens to be black and Laotian. I don't know, maybe he was drunk or high, possibly both. Perhaps a frontal lobe injury? I didn't know men such as this still existed. Figured they had been bronzed in tar and feathered decades ago. It really is unacceptable, highly inappropriate predatory, harassing behavior. A menace like this should not be allowed to run roughshod all over a store grossly abusing his so-called power. I dissuaded my husband from going back to the store to confront him. We will never, ever shop at any ShopRite again. By the way, the mean girls at the front of the store just added insult to injury. I hope you go out of business!

When I shop there, the lack of adequate lighting makes it a bit oppressive to spend much time. The absence of the smaller, modern, carts available elsewhere, makes it necessary to use the larger, older and rustier pushers that often have gimpy wheels. While it wouldn't take much to upgrade this commercial space into a more pleasant facility, the company seems to have decided to leave it as it is. Perhaps, their lease is coming to an end, or the revenue from this location does not justify the expenditure. Regardless, aside from the convenience of stopping in here occasionally, I would avoid it and frequent the newer and easier to navigate markets just to the north for the same prices.

They do try to have signs like the dumplings in the photo I but there are many products that don't, like the flavored feta cheese I was trying to figure out. RIP…read more I've been shopping at Marrazzo's on Parkway Ave in Ewing for years and used to have a positive experience. Unfortunately, that has completely changed under the new ownership and especially the STAFF. Sad how my review all stemmed from how employees handled me trying to redeem a lottery ticket I purchased after grocery shopping - they refused to redeem the ticket and have a history of doing this all the time.. NINE times at this point... even when purchased at their own store??!! Anything over $100 doesn't get redeemed. On (Sunday, 5/17/2026, around noon) I tried to cash a winning $200 ticket I had literally just bought from them, and they refused again. When I calmly asked about the NJ Lottery guidelines, staff told me management has "strict rules" against cashing higher tickets and claimed they never have enough cash (even in a busy supermarket with 5+ registers and constant traffic). Look -- I understand retailers aren't obligated to cash every ticket under $500/$600, but a full-service grocery store that happily sells lottery tickets (in two vending machines and a store front) should be able to redeem $200 ticket just purchased there. Once or twice is acceptable but every damn time?! But then... then interaction turned highly unprofessional. Three employees were involved: * A thin, long-haired African American woman about 5'3" -- she is usually the one behind the lottery section (often with a bandanna or dreads) and is typically the employee who tells customers they can't redeem any "high" tickets. In this case she refused my $200 winning ticket (for the 9th time) on Sunday and has done so many times before. Even after I calmly explained that a grocery store should have at least $200 in cash available somewhere, she still denied redeeming the ticket and became aggressive and ignorant making the next co-worker finish the conversation for her.. * An older (50-60) woman with grey/dark hair and glasses who was loud and confrontational (I believe her name was Veronica). She actually quit her job twice while trying to ring me up. I pressed her a little on the logic of their guidelines and she completely cracked, quit, came back, then quit again after I challenged her weak reasoning further. It's sad and pathetic that someone in her 60s is this unstable and unable to handle a simple grocery store job and allowed me to CONTROL HER FEELINGS!!! like is this your personal $200??!! Haha she then had the next sorry sap cover for her on her last "quit"... * A heavier short black man wearing glasses and a bandanna but SUPER diabetic.. To his defense, he had no idea what he was walking into. He came in hot-headed and aggressive as if ready for violence which is why I'm calling out his ignorance.. When I told him this was not an aggressive situation, no violence was going to happen, and that he has no idea what the situation was even about.. he still acted IGNORANTLY and stuck up for employees who were clearly in the wrong...ready for a fight which in full transparency, he's a liability to any employer. During the confrontation with one of the Black employees, they attempted to make the situation about race. That angle quickly fell apart when they saw that my wife (who is Black) and I (who am White) are together. They shut their mouths on that topic immediately.... SOOO FUNNY, huh? In short, they tried to kick me out of the store simply for asking them to cash a ticket I purchased there.... In what world?? They lied about not having $200 at the whole entire store and when I called them out on that BS, all simply crumbled into pure ignorance...with how things are running, I see why Marrazzo's needed that $200 much more than I do.. I used to give them the benefit of the doubt because Marrazzo's was actually my very first job ever when I was a teenager. I worked at the original location in Robbinsville as a bag boy, so I've always had a little extra leniency for them. But now it's too much. Since Sam passed away and the new owners took over, it is definitely not the same place. They still have the Marrazzo's name, but they have completely lost the concept of ethics, equality, and quite frankly, just logic and reasoning... They're quick to take your money selling tickets but won't honor the redemptions. This pattern discourages customers and feels like it's hurting regular players. If you play the NJ Lottery, I'd recommend going elsewhere for both purchases and redemptions. Very disappointed. Very ignorant workforce especially with how they handle confrontation. I only matched their aggression and they escalated further since they are truly a bunch of weak people... it shows because they're still working at grocery stores in their 50s.. WEAKNESS embodied.. check it out for a thrill, you'll see what I mean

Will try that one again Then the nightmare began..... we tried the "grocery surprise bag"which was a nightmare for $10. We got two jars of guardenare (pickled vegetables) and two so-called ready-made meals that they do when the meat's getting old. You may get a good one, but you can bet I won't be doing that again. Part of it is Toogoodtogo's fault, because they should break it down into categories for large stores like that .... In other words, produce -canned goods -dairy -pet-snacks....whatever they wanna do ....but, for some people, they get meat and they're not gonna eat it. It's wasted anyway ....And, I definitely don't want made over food that is still trying to look fresh but isn't. Especially from an extra nice neighborhood store.

There were no smiles, no warmth, and her overall demeanor gave the impression that she disliked her job, disliked dealing with customers, and simply did not want to be there. As a business owner myself, I understand how important customer relationships are. The checkout counter is often the final impression a guest leaves with, and something as simple as a friendly smile or kind interaction goes a very long way when customers are spending their hard-earned money. I am from out of town and expected much more from what appears to be a boutique-style grocery store with a strong community feel. Stores like Trader Joe's are a great example of how positive, friendly interactions at checkout can completely elevate the customer experience. I even went so far as to ask Delaney if she was having a bad day, and the glaring stare I received in return ultimately prompted me to write this review. To be clear, I am not looking for anyone to lose their job. I simply believe some coaching in guest relations and customer interaction could make a tremendous difference. Delaney is very young, and I genuinely hope she either finds more joy in what she's doing or moves into something better suited for her personality and interests. This was my first visit to Wegman's in Princeton, NJ. Someone else was correct in their review saying that the parking lot is crazy. Please be careful & look ALL ways, especially elderly folks. There are cars literally coming from all directions and then of course people walking behind you and in front of you and beside you it's quite the zoo (and this was a non-holiday Sunday morning! ). I had placed an order on the Wegmans app while I was at my hotel for pick up at 11:30am. My app said to go inside to the curbside to go sign to get my food. Maybe I missed it but at the other Wegmans, there was even a sign outside indicating where the food to go department was located... I did not see that on the outside of this building but I could've missed it. Also, once inside I headed to where the prepared foods were, but I also saw no sign indicating food to go, only catering. I asked two women at the bakery counter & they had conflicting answers one pointing me to one end of the store and saying I had to drive up in my car to pick it up and the other pointing towards catering. Since my app did not indicate that I was picking up curbside in a car, I headed towards catering, and that was indeed where the to go food was located. It was 11:20am & my food was ready & in the cooler. They bagged it for me and I was on my way. I didn't have the time to walk around inside this Wegmans, but it looked pretty standard for the store. My favorite part about Wegmans is the massive prepared food/made to order/restaurant section. On this particular trip, I was getting my husband a large Danny's favorite sub to take home, and for myself I got a protein turkey wheat wrap with veggies & a fruit bowl for my 5 hour road trip & a Wegman's brand dragonfruit vitamin water. Wegman's is the Cadillac of grocery stores. No other store compares. You really have to experience one to understand the concept.
