Super Foot Massage offers a great massage at an affordable price--$65, including hot stones. All the therapists are good, but I personally prefer Maria. She's excellent, professional, and really knows what she's doing! read more

Came here tonight, two women, for 30 minute foot reflexology, and the massage didn't last a full 30 minutes; the service was $25 and they expected $10 on top of that after the service. The guy at the desk will look at you and imply to give more money, knowing good and well it was subpar. My right foot was massaged but not really my left foot. I generally am a very generous tipper, but not for a service that is not complete. I go to reflexology places often and understand this type of massage. My one foot feels better than my left foot so the massage itself was ok but applied with firm and fast pressure making it feel ticklish, and the person doing the massage seemed dismissive and not fully present with what he was doing. I asked for a certain thing on my feet and they didn't do it. If you are asking for something specific I suggest using a translator and or telling the person at the desk because the person doing the massage cannot understand. We frequent this shopping center and would come here often if the service was even a little better but definitely not returning for this. Unfortunate experience. For reference, the last place I visited I tipped $25 for a one hour reflexology. Take note SUPER FOOT SPA, if you focus on excellent customer service, give only a minute or two over the service length or at least the amount advertised, and teach people doing it how to behave well, you will naturally get a more gracious customer base. Had a great combo massage. One hour acupuncture massage for my body; another 30 mins on my foot. The basic foot massage is out in the public area but since I had the combo; they moved me in to a room. The masseuse was great; she knew where my knots were and focused on that. She had a normal routine that she runs through and that was fine. The hot stones felt nice. read more

Super Foot Spa - Day Spas Near Me - Newark, California

The one-hour foot massage I got this past Saturday included work on my back, neck, head, arms, and of course my lower limbs. Best part was surprisingly the arm massage, my masseur using a unique and effective method and technique to apply pressure to my sore muscles. The foot massage was thorough, attention paid to each individual toe and a rolling tool used to massage the bottom of my feet, with good pressure as well. However, the repetitive stroking of my lower legs was not as effective as other parts of the massage. At least it brought some relief to my calf pain from a charley horse earlier in the day. Quite a bit of chatter (in Chinese) going on in the shared room consisting of 6-8 massage beds (available for customers getting the clothed foot massage or treatments not requiring a private room), so it's not the most peaceful experience. But I didn't mind as they charged an affordable price and the session left me feeling rejuvenated in the end. Friendly staff too. It was easy to make an appointment via phone call a couple days in advance, and I was served right away at arrival (they were ready to get started even before my original appointment time). read more

I recently went in for a foot massage, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. When I asked Anna to focus a bit more on a specific area of my foot, she became visibly annoyed and refused. It seems the staff is required to follow a strictly fixed massage pattern and is unwilling to customize the service. Anna's unprofessional attitude and lack of flexibility ruined what should have been a relaxing visit. Plus, language is a barrier, the staff doesn't speak English. read more

The massage is good but the forceful tip is what lost us and would not be coming back. The lady at the front desk and the masseuse was initially nice and accommodating. I've seen the lady argued in their foreign language with the 2 previous customer while we were at the waiting area, I assumed maybe it's just them. After we got our massages which was not a full massage it was only foot and like they said "complimentary head, neck and shoulders" which they didn't fully give my husband. I was giving a 10% tip and the man and lady DEMANDED that we give more than $10 tip EACH. My husband gave them $15 each to get it over with, and they were ungrateful and gave us a nasty look. So we ended up paying more like we had a full body massage. We were planning to buy the package of 10 as it was reasonable price but after the demand of %25 tip they have lost us. I should've believed the previous reviews. Definitely not coming back. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! I have been coming here for the past year and have always given 25%+tips. I got scolded at today by the woman who did my massage because i gave her 25% tips for a $60 service, and the front desk/owner just stood there and said nothing. Think twice before you want to spend your money here. read more

They provide good massage but it's not consistent and the staff person is very rude and unprofessional.

Massage was great but they definitely talk too much. Additionally when I tipped them they seemed like $20 was not enough. I've gone to other places where I've tipped $10-40 and they are grateful. This place was not grateful. Will not be going back. read more

Recommend by a friend. Came out with bruises all over my arms. I felt and looked like I was beaten up. I don't bruise easily so to have these bruises meant Bunny went too hard on my arms. I kept on saying too tender and to lighten her pressure and removing my arms but she kept going. read more

I'm Going there for years. Different massage techs. Foot massage to relax after busy days. Hurting feet get renewed.

I pulled a muscle in my lower back few days prior. So today I decided to get up and go to get the knot worked out. I have been here at least 5 times before. As usual the 1 hr body massage $60.00 was great! I did not get the lady's name. But very strong and I told her where it hurt. She took care of me well. I looked to find her to tip $10.00. So I just went up front to pay. I told the lady it was tip for my masseuse. She just gave me a dirty look n then said "tip 15.00 minimum" I said "Excuse me. That's her tip 10.00" She kept insisting and put a separate machine for tip on counter. At this point I was pissed off! The gaul of this woman and so rude! I told her tip isn't mandatory it is gratuitous. Thats 15% on 60.00. I said charge the fkn card 60.00 because I have never been told that a tip is mandatory. She said "no good you no good" wtf?? You're expecting me to tip 25% on a massage?? Im not cheap, but come on now! That place used to be full in common area foot massage. It was just me and another person out there today. In this economy who really has $70.00 for an hour massage?? Thats my groceries for week n half! Very disappointed. read more

Don't be fooled by their low prices - it's a complete scam. They cut a 30-minute massage down to just 20 minutes, and if you pay in cash, they forcefully cut out a 20% tip from the money they owe you. This business is dishonest and needs to be reported for fraud. read more

I love this place and have been going for years. I always get the one hour full body and feel sooo good after. Today I even dozed off. There has never been a time I've ripped less than $20 because the value of the massage charges are reasonable and fair. It's my spot! read more

I am rating based on massage quality, service and overall vibe of the place. First of all, I'd avoid this place in the future. Because the massage was not the worst I've ever had but pretty low on the whole scale. I have specially asked to skip some area to particularly focus on other area in their native language (so no English issue here), my request was ignored. Maybe they just only had 1 type of routine ‍. Secondly, I tip based on the performance not necessarily how explain it is to live here in the bay. If it's a great massage, I don't mind tip 30-40% but to have the house manager specifically ask for a amount and tell me my tip was not enough is not a good business practice. Third, the vibe was not relaxing. People who worked there were not friendly, sheets are old and moldy spell, you can hear everyone's conversation even when you had a separate room. I don't know, if I were you, I'd continue search and go to other places. If I had a choice I'd not give 1 star. Unfortunately, some times you do experience a bad place, I felt sorry that I've wasted my time. read more

Massage was mediocre at best. The massage therapist massaged very quick and at times was rough. Staff (including my masseuse) was loudly talking at different times during my 90 minute massage, which made for an unrelaxing experience. When I told this to the front desk person, she said that I should have booked a private room if I wanted relaxation. When asked how much I wanted to tip, I told her $10. She said no and bullied me into tipping more. I tipped $12 ($2 isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things and if I felt that the massage therapist deserved a 20% or higher tip, I would gladly leave that). When I told her that I didn't agree, she said that $10 is the minimum tip for a 60 minute massage and for more than 60 minutes I must leave more. I told her there is no tipping rules posted anywhere and she became snarky with me and stated, "we've been here for more than 10 years and everyone knows that so I'm going to remind you". I told her that she's not reminding me of anything because this was my first time at their foot spa and no where in their spa does it say $10 minimum tip. I would avoid this place at all costs. Go somewhere else if you want an enjoyable experience with employees that actually care about their clients. read more

1st Visit: So, I made an afternoon appointment and I arrived about 20 minutes late. I decided to be honest when I arrived and let the host know that I made an appointment and I was late. Before I told him this, he was ready to set me up with a massage therapist. After I said this, he says, "Hmm, let me check my book." Knowing that was a weak move, I interjected, "So, what time do you close?" Implying two things: 1) I know you're open super late and there's no way you're booked solid until 10PM and 2) I can come back. Needless to say, he reverted back setting me up with a massage therapist then and there. So, the massage was just okay. The best part was the technique and how gentle the therapist was. He used a few stretches and hit a few pressure points that other massage therapists haven't. However, he was a bit too gentle. 2nd Visit: I was turned away because I didn't have an appointment. The receptionist scheduled me an appointment for later that day at 6PM. Then, she called me to say someone canceled and that I could come at 5:00. I agreed to 5:30. I arrived late at 5:50. She then told me, sorry we can't fit you in. And she was super rude when she said it. Really disappointed that this place couldn't accommodate me but even more angered by the way I was spoken to by the receptionist. 3rd Visit: By far my worst experience yet. The massage was not my biggest concern. The problem occurred when I paid for the service. I received a 30 minute foot massage for $15. I handed the masseuse a $2 tip. He then followed me to the register. I handed the lady at the desk $20 expecting $5 in return. Instead, she takes the $5 owed to me and attempts to hand it to the masseuse. I told her that I already gave him a tip, at which point she shook her head and made a gasping noise. I was shocked that she would insist upon me tipping more than I wanted to. At that point, I told her that the Yelp reviews for this business are subpar largely due in part to this policy of tipping. She replied that, "It doesn't matter...we're always busy." I asked her if it's required to tip $5 and she said that's a minimum. I asked her why doesn't she post a sign stating that. She replied, "Everybody knows that...these people don't work for free." So, take it how you want but I am disgusted and offended as a result of this blatant disrespect. They literally tried to bully me into tipping. It's become a norm and a culture at this establishment and it is not acceptable. My suggestion is that this place learn its lesson by way of a boycott. Demanding money ain't it - you need to earn every penny. Don't be sitting at the front counter eye-balling my wallet tryna' pressure me into tipping you. And, certainly don't feel some type of way about not getting a fat tip and overtly express your displeasure in front of me. That's rude and totally unprofessional. Never in my life. She didn't take the time to say thank you for coming. Is there anything else we can do for you? How was your massage today? Can I schedule a future appointment? None of that. Just all about the money. Smh This place is cancelled...who's with me (Jerry McGuire voice)??? Oh and they increased their prices on April 1st. A one hour massage is $25 instead of $20. So, the allure of getting a cheap 1hr massage is gone and it makes more sense to me now to just pay more and be treated with respect. read more

Super Foot is still my favorite choice for a quality massage. I'm retired now and have been going even more often (a couple times a month) as I no long work near my Chiropractor. Their massages have helped me recover from a couple injuries. For those who wonder about the unasked question, this place is 100% legit. No "extras", unless you count the hot stone massage treatment that comes with every full body massage. read more

Forcefully asked more for tips, said 25% isn't enough, crazy, never come here again, the massage was bad , they don't know how to do it/

This is the worst massage shop I have ever been to, the supposedly to be a masseuse kept on squeezing my arms and legs throughout the whole session. And pushy body like a dough, then only after I ask him that he can use a little more strength is then I can feel like a roll of paper, rocking side to side. The worst of all is that he kept on using his private part banging against my head, I ask him to stop but he went back to his routine soon after. Now I was thinking if I should come back again, the woman boss whisper to me when I took out my money to pay, at least $10 tip! I asked why? She said you have a one on one service for an hour! I thought to myself, yes but I paid for the hour, so doesn't the tip reflects the service ? I would give it a -5*, but you know why. read more

Very sad to report that Happy Foot Spa now requires a minimum $10 tip for their massage.

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS. I have a prepaid package. A 20% tip from $25.00 is $5.00. They now loudly demand a $10 tip and try to block you from leaving if it's less. They justify this blaming Covid FORGETTING they were/are not the only ones affected. Anyone interested in the balance of my prepaid card, send me a note. I wonder if the IRS or EEOC or even the City of Newark knows this is how they do business. read more

Just had my first foot massage here. I ask for male masseur . Got Arthur. He is great! Perfect pressure for me. And he knows where all my muscle pain located. My back is sore. He fixed it. Don't wanna leave. Definitely coming back for Arthur! Need this on a weekly basis. 30 dollar an hour foot massage is basically a full body massage. I tip him good ,20+.Read the other people's comments on Yelp about tip, don't understand those customers, even man customer is tipping them 5 dollar an hour , still complaining their asking for 10 is too much. Who the hell is still tipping 5 dollar for a massage ,and still feeling entitled. read more

Incredibly rude service staff. Massage therapist was talking loudly and laughing with the therapist at a nearby table during the full hour. The therapist also got up three times during the massage for a few minutes at a time, during which I heard them talking with another woman at the cashier. At the end, the cashier insisted on a "minimum $10 tip." Now - this is not advertised online. It's not on any of the price list sheets at the cashier. And when we asked the total price of the service at top, it was not mentioned then, either. When I said I didn't feel comfortable paying a $10 tip for the service, when this wasn't disclosed to me upfront, the cashier erupted in anger and started calling me and my elderly mother with me all sorts of names. I told her I had never before encountered someone so rude to customers. And we left the shop. read more

Previously I had given this location a decent rating but I have been there twice since then and I have come out feeling worse than before. I felt soreness and bruising after the full body massage and the hot stones did more damage than good. I honestly do not recommend going here especially if you're getting hot stone massage. They amount they expect for you to tip is unreasonable. I don't know if they're actually trained to give you messages because I haven't felt such soreness and pain from getting a message anywhere else before. read more

Listen to all the 1 star reviews here. They are terrible! Came here thinking to get some relief but they laugh at you when you request softer massage or harder massage. On top of that, the massage is sub par. They use cheap plastic to cover the towels and then remove the sheets and do a spray after you're done. They don't even replace the towels! I can't believe it esp during COVID time. Cherry on top - they force you to pay 50% tip when you are paying your bill. Tip is not mandated it's based on service!!! Terrible massage spot I will not be back. read more

This is a totally honest review. Despite the terrible one star reviews regarding tip (which I think is incredibly ridiculous). I think it's completely fair to leave a $10+ tip for a "foot massage". Their foot massage is basically a full body massage! They start with soaking your feet in water and start massaging you starting from your head to your hands, then feet. Afterwards, they flip you over to do your back and shoulders. All of this for $30 for a full hour. They keep their prices low to gain more volume, but people should seriously tip! Who the hell tips $5 for a massage? It's apparent that there is a language barrier as they don't speak fluent English. The setting definitely isn't as intimate or professional as a good Thai/deep tissue massage, but it gets the job done for a quick tension-release sesh. I'd say come here with an open mind and just tip $10. I'm sure the employees here are making minimum wage so tip is what they live off of. That's literally $40 for an hour of full body massage. A star off because I see room for potential, but no complaints. read more

I moved here last year, I found an affordable massage and has a great quality. I recommend the guys, I have a specific massage therapist among the guys but most of them are great. I visited Super Foot Spa because it's my friends regular spot. I was amazing that the foot service included whole body and head massage and rates were reasonably priced. My friends used various staff members in the past so I felt a bit more comfortable. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience as I wasn't given the choice of the gender of the staff. The person sounded female but turned out to be a man. The environment was dimly lit, and the staff had a mask on. When the person removed the towel in the end, I felt an inappropriate tap on my private area. I haven't heard of anyone else encountering such a situation here or at any other places. I hope the business addresses this issue, as customers should never feel violated. read more

We usually go some place else for a fb (full body) massage. Since we are in the area and would like to relax our tired muscles, we booked a full body massage for 2 in a couples room. Maybe 15-20 minutes after the massage started we started hearing conversations on top of what supposed to be their relaxing background music. The conversation gets louder and louder. I've told my masseuse that the conversation is very loud. The other masseuse "shush" them. It stopped for a few but loud conversations accompanied with laughs sounded like a revenge lol started to happen. Massage was ok. When we were paying, we've told the lady up front (she said she's the manager) about it and she said that she didn't hear anything loud and gave us that look. As if we're hearing things. We told her that she wouldn't have missed it if she's inside the premises because 4 of us heard it. Then she said that somebody's teaching another person to speak English. Really? In a massage place wherein everyone should be quiet and or speaking softly. Clearly these people didn't have respect in what supposed to be a nice quiet place and the paying guests. We came out stressed than relaxed and will not come back to this place. What a waste of money! Do not ignore reviews. They are here for a reason. read more

Extremely rude customer service - just for that wouldn't recommend - we are going to take our business elsewhere. I used to come here all the time and have given them lots of business- and they were so rude to me bc she didn't like the feedback that what I asked for did not align. And top it off she fought me about the tip, I decided to tip the lady for her hard work even though she did an 'ok' job, pouring more oil and lotion and kneading my body like dough after me specifically asking for a massage and less oils Numerous times! When I checked in I asked how much it would cost, the lady who checked me in told me there's a combo deal and quoted me a price, and when I went to pay the rude front desk lady acts like she's giving me a $5 discount ( which was the SAME price as when I asked when I got there!) after me giving her my feedback - then she proceeds to say she's taking the discount back bc I 'talk to much'! Then she proceeds to tell me there's a $10 minimum for tip, ( no sign in sight), and literally took my $20 bill when I asked for change and put it in her drawer saying she won't give it back to me! I couldn't believe it. Finally she gave it back and I told her I'd never be coming back and she yelled and called me cheap and said don't come back. ( funny thing is when I have tipped well they are all smiles). almost wish I didn't pay for any of it, but my conscious wouldn't let me sink to their level! I guess this is a perfect example of you get what you pay for.... read more

Super Foot Spa just opened not even a week ago in the site of the old Blossom makeup shop. The name is not very creative, but as long as the massage is indeed super, that's all that matters. As you probably have guessed, this is another one of those Chinese owned foot and body massage places that have sprouted up in recent years, many with varying levels of success. I'm not one to normally do massages, as I've only gotten three previously my entire life (in Napa, Maui, and San Gabriel at another Chinese place), so I wouldn't say that I'm a formative expert by any means, but for a grand opening rate of $14.99 per hour for foot massage, and $34.99 for full body, I was willing to take the plunge. After months of nonstop yogasthenics and parkour training, my aching muscles were in need of some of TLC, and although hesitant at first to try a brand new place, since I was in the area, I decided to give Super a whirl. As mentioned, my basis for comparison is quite limited, but all I know is that the full body massage I received last night was pretty darn soothing! My masseuse was a somewhat short, stocky, relatively young female (probably late 20's to early 30's, and no more than 40 for sure, since you can't tell with Chinese genes), and wow, did she pack some power in those fingers. Now, I'm not going to say that I'm the buffest dude by any stretch, but I've been told that my physique is often difficult to massage. Not for this little dynamo! She was getting deeeep into the tissues, and I'm not going to lie... it did hurt a bit, but a good kind of pain, of course! All those months and years of accumulated build up were soon alleviated in a matter of minutes. As with most Chinese places, they are not as strict on the cover sheet as your usual western spa. Your glutes are typically exposed, but the bottom part is covered up, so the genitalia is hidden from view. If you are shy about this, you may want to reconsider, but as the saying goes, it's not anything they haven't seen before. The outer area is where the foot massage takes place, with a bunch of cots in an open space with no privacy. The foot rub normally also includes a tiny bit of the body as well, but obviously, the main focus is on the feet. The full body massage is done in the private back rooms. The funny thing is that since Super Foot Spa is surrounded by restaurants, you can hear the kitchen staff talking and cooking, with sizzling woks and spatulas clanging away. If you are the type that needs absolute dead silence to enhance your zen experience, this may be a bit of a distraction, but I thought it was simply hilarious. Throughout all my years of being involved in exercise and fitness, I've always known that regularly scheduled massages should be part of the protocol. Up until now, I've never followed this rule, since I didn't feel the cost was worth it, but at $35 a pop (plus tips), I think I might just have to start becoming a regular. read more

Super Foot Spa - Grand Opening special! $14.99 per hour foot massage, and $34.99 for full body. - Day Spas Near Me - Newark, California

I wish there was a Super Foot Spa or equivalent where I am currently living! I was first introduced to this place over 2 years ago by my cousin, who is a local in the area. For context, I have never gotten any sort of massage before, despite feeling super tense and sore all over the place (blame it on bad posture and lack of stretching before and after exercise), so my bar was initially quite low. I never get massages, and so BOTH of my massage experiences have been with Super Foot -- that's saying a lot! (For those who are more experienced with the massage scene in the Bay Area - feel free to comment otherwise!) What made this place so awesome for me? The quality of the massage for the showstopping price. Both times, I had the $20 foot massage... BUT it's more than just a foot massage! It's like a whole body massage, starting in the supine position from your forehead down to the toes, finishing with your entire back and neck in the prone position. The masseuse applied an awesome amount of pressure and hit all the right knots. I left feeling so refreshed, relaxed, and happy! Other: make sure to call ahead of time to make a reservation especially on weekends, as they can get quite busy. You can request either male or female masseuses. Free parking in the adjoining lot. If you are going to come often (and why not...), buy 10 massages and get 2 free! My cousin and I were able to apply our 2 current massages to the 'membership' we bought, even at the end of our visit. (Yes, multiple people can hold a membership.) Just make sure to not lose the card that they give you -- they don't keep track otherwise... Would definitely, definitely come back next time I am in the area. I already think I need another massage now (as I slouch over on the couch and write this review)! read more

Subpar massage starts of with unclean practices. They don't replace towels and just lay down a thin, small roll of mesh that barely covers the massage table. Don't expect for almost $60 that you will get a back massage under your clothing. Masseuse just pressed on back without actually touching the skin. Although this was a 90 min a massage, there are lots of other foot spas that massage the skin under clothing with relief of pain. Equally horrible was they pressure customers to pay $15 tip even if the massage was not satisfying and did little to relieve pain. Why did you bother to ask what I want to tip? Ridiculous! Go elsewhere folks. Not worth the money. read more

I haven't been here in a long time and I used to be a regular before Covid. I always ask for Peter or Arthur but neither were available but the lady at the front promised me she had someone good. She was right! Anna was soo good! I work from home and stare at a laptop all day and Anna relieved the muscle aches all over my body in the right spots. Massages used to be $20 but with inflation, I'm not surprised the price went up to $40. Therefore, I make sure to tip more than I used to, so I now give a $20+ tip. I can't wait to come back next month! read more

It was me & my boyfriend's first time to get a full body massage ever, so it was quite an experience for us. My aunty & uncle recommended this place, because its a grand opening & its $20/hr for a foot/leg massage, plus FREE head, shoulders, back, arms/hands/fingers, buttox & neck. Basically, the whole body!! GREAT DEAL!! Even better, they have happy hr from 10a-1p & this deal is $5 less! When we walked in, it was already a warm feeling w/ the dimmed lighting & relaxing music. We got treated right away for our appt. We came late at night (8:30p), which I think is better to do. That way when you go home, you feel relaxed & eventually it would be time to go to sleep. haha My massagist, Tony was excellent. He made sure not to touch my head in certain areas, as I requested. He took his time w/ all the areas that were on the menu for my appt. My favorite is the legs, especially the feet. After a work week, that's what I would appreciate. I love the warm, wet towl over my legs/feet right after. Also, all the lotion stuff was great too. My feet feels great!! The back massage hurt a little, but I let him do his thing, because I knew I would appreciate it later & I SO did. The little hole, you rest your head in, didn't really help. It was kinda hard to breathe. Idk if others have that problem. I don't think Tony understood English very well, so one of the ladies were there right away to translate. That was good, because time was ticking & well, things needed to get done. LOL At the end, they gave us water & that was that. Great experience. Next time I think I will bring friends to check it out. :) read more
