Just went in today!! Literally an hour ago! I am brand new to davis and will only get my anything that has to do with my face threaded. Wax on my face is a HUGE NO NO!!! Threading is the best thing that you can ever do and lasts for a good amount of time. Being 400+ miles away from home i cant go to my usual place Layla :( Needed to find a place up here. Yes I looked on yelp to see if they even existed in Davis...luckily there was a few options. I decided EZ eyebrows mainly because weekend transportation SUCKS in Davis more than during the week...I'm sorry but where I come from busses dont stop running at 6pm...alright back to this place So I get to the plaza and walk into 'the mall' and see the place. Simple quaint. Look at the prices which match what I pay back home. Walk in and the lady was on the phone but she only took a second to say have a seat and you'll be next. Always nice to be able to just walk in!!!!! She helped me within minute. I got in the chair and just blatantly trusted her. Ive realized my eyebrow experiences are not happy endings unless the person threading me actually asks me or I tell her how I want it....maybe it is my fault...i dont know but basically she did a good job. I dont look bad and I look clean. Appreciate and like that BUT MY EYEBROWS ARE THINNER THEN I WANT AND ARCHED MORE THAN I WANT I like the natural look. I don't look fake. I'm at that borderline that it looks like me but a step to the fakeness side. Not horrible not great And good customer service. I think the stamp card idea is great! I am just on the fence if I will be back again or not......my eyebrows will grow back I had a lady one time make an eyebrow thinner then the other back at home. Wasnt happy but life goes on. They regrow. Conclusion: depending how you like your eyebrows maybe this is a great place for you! It had good service and good prices! The lady definitely has experience but if your like me who likes her eyebrows very very natural looking with only clean up I would say 50/50 chance of getting that look I'm probably gonna try another place or two before I am set on a location Oh! I only come here to get threaded! It's a quiet place and the employees don't really converse w/you, but they are sweet and they definitely know what they are doing. They sell jewelry here as well, I've never bought them b/c I have never had any occasion to need them. They have plenty of room for people and they are quick to help as many people as possible in a timely manner. The prices are comprable for the work that they do. Please do tip them! Location is key as well, they are right off the UCD campus and a bus line is on that block, there is always plenty of parking. All in all, I don't want to go anywhere else. read more

I came here around lunch time on a Tuesday afternoon so it was quite empty. The lady at the front desk seemed happy to have a new customer. I was in and out of the chair in about 5 minutes. I came in with a brow shape just needed to clean it up. The lady did a great job. She also said if I have a concern to come back this week to fix it. She gave me a stamp card and told me to come back for a touch up in about a month. $11 is not bad. She made sure to ask my input after and look in the mirror if there was something she missed. I had thick eyebrows, no arch. I went in yesterday to get them cleaned up a bit and even showed the older woman a picture of how i wanted them (how i've had them before) and she seemed to understand. They are HALF their original size now and i have a huge arch. To make things worse, the brows don't match each other AT ALL. They take on completely different shapes. She trimmed all my hairs short as well. She must have taken two layers of hair both on the top of my eyebrow and below it. DO NOT COME HERE. It was such a waste of money and time. Have tried this place multiple times and every time they either miss a patch or hair or do not shorten my eyebrows enough so I have to fix them when I get home. I have thick middle eastern eyebrows so maybe this was the reason they couldn't not do a good job. read more

I used to go to the Benefit Brow Bars but I never got consistent results from them. The last time I went to a Benefit Brow Bar, the girl waxed the end of my left eyebrow too much and it has never recovered from that. Now I strictly go here to get my brows done. I come in once a month for brows and lip threading. She's super quick and they look perfect every time! The stamp card is helpful too since she writes the date on it so I know how long it's been since I've gone in. There's usually no wait whenever I go in. One or two times I've had to wait a few minutes. It's great if you want to go in between classes or have some free time. read more

I have never had anything bad to say about my experience here because the ladies are great. I noticed they hired two new ladies which is fine but I have one lady I go to but I always forget to ask her name. She wasn't available and it was fairly busy so I didn't want to hold up the line and luckily one of the senior ladies came out to help. But in the middle of my brows she helps one of the new ladies with her client because she didn't shaped them well enough or something. First that's unprofessional of her to walk away while she's doing mine and although the newer lady helped me with my brows, she didn't even do them as well as she could have. There are still plenty of unwanted hairs around my brows. My perception of the service today was that my brows aren't as important as the other chicks because she just walked off as if she wasn't in the middle of doing mine. Next time I will hold up the line so I can get my regular lady. read more

One of the best places I've gone for threading. She's not like the other ladies who thread that insist you have a hairy face and should get more done. She shapes nicely and offers a great student discount with a stamp card that gives you the 7th time free. She is kind and honest. I love her!!! read more

This spot used to be in a kiosk in the middle of the mall, but has recently upsized and moved into its own store, most likely due to its popularity. Neeti, the owner, consistently has a line of 2-3 people (a testament to her skill), but I've only ever waited a maximum of 10 minutes (also a testament to her skill). Without my ever asking, my eyebrows turn out natural and neat. She has the fastest and most painless technique that I've ever experienced, and her prices are reasonable. No appointment nevessary. I've gone 1-2 times/month for the past 4 months. Easily the best eyebrow (and upper lip) threading place in Davis. read more

This is an ok place. IF I ever have to come back I would not allow them to put any lotion on me after threading like they did on my first and only visit! The places I have gone to brush off the loose hairs but this place gets a cotton ball full of some lotion and apply on your eyebrows! I went here multiple times because it was just convenient walking across the street from home, and the workers are fast. But I have been blessed with asymmetrical face, and they never follow my natural brow shape. Some of the new workers do not understand English, I asked one woman for a clean up and she barely did any clean up. One time a girl did listen to me and I believe her name started with N, she was careful. I won't go back here, I will try a different place next. read more

I have never been so horrified. I was getting my eyebrows done to go to a wedding this weekend. I was very hesitant to come to this store front, but was in a rush so thought I would give it a try. I specifically said multiple times to not make them too thin, and apparently the girl did not hear me, well, or just made a mistake. She took off way too much and did not shape them how I would have liked. The other women working had to step in to do the other eyebrow. When I freaked out the other women blamed the girl for being new, didn't make me pay, and gave me a free product. I wish if she was new she would not have been left on her own to do the work. Lets just say I would have paid her 100 dollars not to do this to my face. Going to this wedding full of embarrassment ! Ugh should have never gone here. Absolutely loooove this place! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for some time now and was saddened that Davis.did not have a reliable threading place around when I moved up here. A year later, E Z eyebrow opened up, I was drawn not only to the quality of threading but the friendliness and personable atmosphere. FIRST TIMER I honestly didn't know what to expect going into this threading business. I've contemplated on either getting waxed or threaded over the past years, but never got around to until I moved to Davis. Read reviews on yelp, there are some really great ones--all the good things and some not so much. Walked past this place a couple times by forever21, never really thought much of it--if any, just never thought of becoming a customer and passed judgement wayyy too early. So I walked in today and was greeted by a really calm, nice old lady sitting in the front by herself (too bad forgot to ask her name!). She looked at me and instantly went "eyebrows?" and told me to take a seat anywhere. I was really afraid my eyebrows would turn out too thin, and there's no going back. So I kept prompting her that I didn't want them thin, and it was my first time and how painful it would be. She was so calm, and just went "oh don't worry about it, I know I know, I got it." Then she went into boss mode and just threaded away into wonderland. What a boss, but IT HONESTLY HURT SO MUCH--both my eyes welled up throughout the whole process. In the end, I LOVE WHAT SHE'S DONE TO MY EYEBROWS, they're so perfectly clean and really well done, GREAT SHAPE. Stamp cards given without even asking, but I did mention a couple times about how I heard great things about them on yelp. I also tipped because I honestly think she deserves it. SO CHEAP--$10 can't beat that anywhere else, considering the quality of work she does. And also very QUICK, I was out within 5 mins. read more

If it were only one of the workers working here, I would rate this place 5 stars. However, today was my worst experience there. Today was my second time getting my eyebrows done by the lady with the pointy nose. The first time was the beginning of fall quarterish. I always make a point of telling the threader that I want to keep my eyebrows thick but she made them really thin and it took me all year to grow out. Since then, I've always made sure my eyebrows were done by the other worker (the really nice one that smiles a lot). I went in today but my usual person wasn't working. Being really busy, I figured why not give the other lady a chance again. I even thought maybe it was my fault for not being specific enough. But today, I explicitly said that I just wanted her to clean up the strays and to leave my eyebrows thick because I'm growing them out. After doing one eyebrow she leaves to work on the other customer and I look in the mirror. Right away, I'm devastated at how thin it is and tell her. After originally denying it, she finally mutters something about how she was mad. Like really? Don't take that out on your customers... Looking at what she did to my eyebrows makes me want to cry. Girls understand the importance of eyebrows. I am not being dramatic lol. Made this yelp account specifically to warn others. She didn't even apologize but rather tried to make me feel like it was my fault despite my specific instructions. Horrible and rude. read more
