It shows how loyal the customers are. We have nothing but good things to say as it was safe, loving, clean and 'our spot' to cut Rundig's hair every 6-8 weeks. We highly recommend.

Monica has been grooming her since she's been a baby and never had a problem until this last time. When we picked her up, we noticed she wasn't breathing correctly. Later that night I called left a message asking if something happened to her. They never called me back. Ended up taking her to the veterinary hospital to find out her throat was compromised while getting groomed. The vet said they see this a lot when people take there dogs to the groomers We ended up having to send our little girl to heave way way to early So this is a WARNING to everyone that's thinking of bringing your animals here. Your pet might be next!!!!! The only time we got a call was when I posted my last comment a month later. I ended up closing down my old account. So I'm reposting what happed for all to hear FYI- Monica's husband has a bad temper! Read all of his nasty comments back to peoples complaints on Yelp. He's the one to watch out for when you take your pets here!!!! Just saying, people with bad tempers shouldn't be commenting back to anyone's posts especially when they're not the owner or the operator of the grooming shop. He's not there everyday with Monica! They contacted me the next morning and were even patient enough to wait for me to answer (screened the call using Google assist since I did not recognize the number). Alexes was professional and asked questions about my dog to make sure it was a good fit. He has never been groomed professionally before so I appreciate that they take the time to ask about the dog as well as my expectations. I scheduled for the following week. The location is easy to find just off 153rd. I rang the bell and was greeted by Angie and Alexes. They let Gryff smell around and smell them while we chatted and I signed the consent form. My boy decided to mark their sandwich sign in the lobby (which I am so sorry for!) I had my hands full with my baby and trying to finish the paperwork but they promptly cleaned it up for me and made me feel comfortable because they didn't have an angry or negative reaction and I knew that they would stay calm with my boy and treat him well. They estimated a 3 hour session and called me after 2.5 hours to let me know they were finishing up. Upon pickup they were friendly and showed me pictures of the bath process and told me about how it went. Thankfully it went well, Gryff was well behaved and now my dog is 10lbs lighter!

My 11-month-old French bulldog needed his nails trimmed and Angie was amazing. She takes time to talk to your pet to assure them everything will be OK, which in my opinion helps the process. My Frenchie was calm and enjoyed his nail trim. Definitely will be going back!

When I got her back from grooming, she was looking like this (video in car). Very little hair on her body, I felt sad for her and almost cried. Her head has a fro and her tail is basically gone and naked. When I came in to get her, I was initially shocked and didn't know what to say. I thought I liked it until I took another good look at her. She didn't even come out smelling good and i'm wondering if her ears were cleaned. This is her second experience getting groomed. The first time was out of state, where I got her and when I was planning on flying back to Seattle, I had a groomer that did a tidy up puppy cut (the photos where they gave her bows in her ears afterwards). She smelled so good after, her curls were still there and her tail had a lot of hair. At the front desk, I asked if there were notes and there were none. I was hoping for an explanation on why she came out looking kind of naked. When I asked for a puppy cut, I didn't think the hair would be cut down this much. The haircut also looks choppy, especially the head part. It isn't even like what I thought a puppy cut would look like. I appreciate the groomer for being patient with this puppy though and took their time on my girl. Hair will grow back. I showed all my friends the video of her in the car and they had the same thoughts I did. I almost cried (lol). Anyway, hair will grow back. I just wanted to leave this review and maybe I should have done more extensive research on groomers. I was nervous to schedule an appointment at all due to it being her second time (first time in WA).

I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! Most loving dog owners know how hard it is to find…read morea grooming salon you can truly trust. I found K9 Grooming through Yelp and I'm so glad I did. We drive 30 minutes to get here and I won't lie, the salon is pricey. It usually costs me around $300 with trip for a standard Aussie and mini Aussie regular groom. But it is absolutely worth it. My dogs are my babies. We have a 6-year-old Aussie we've had since he was a puppy, and we recently added our rescue mini Aussie who is now 8. Our rescue has extreme anxiety from her past trauma, including living in a hoarding situation. The team here treats both of our dogs like family. I've never once worried about the way they're cared for. The salon is spotless. Anytime I walk into a grooming place that smells like urine or feces or is chaotic with constant barking, it's an instant red flag for me. K9 Grooming is completely different. It's clean, calm, and you can even watch your dogs being groomed so there's no mystery about how they're treated. Recently our neighbor warned us about fleas in the area, so I called K9 as a concerned pet mom. They were so helpful. They told me they'd start with a regular bath and, if they found any fleas, they'd do the treatment and call us so we could prep the house. Sure enough, they found a few a went forward with the flea bath. They provided me with helpful information and next steps. I sincerely appreciate the level of care, transparency, and customer service the staff provide. I could never take my dogs anywhere else after coming here.

Australian shepherds have very thick double coats, she requires grooming at least every six weeks. From the front desk, all the way back to the groomers they're always so professional, and Mila is always so extremely eager and happy to go there; that says so much. I've had my fair share of very bad grooming experiences, with this very dog. K9 Design Grooming Salon has changed my perspective and Mila's perspective on grooming experiences. We used to live extremely close to the Salon, but we recently bought a house in Olympia and still make the drive! We love K9 Design Grooming!!
