We had bought 2 custom hats years ago and have always kept them in our minds. Mine is s custom "Wyatt Earp" style with a larger than usual brim and it is my all time favorite hat, out of at least 20 hat's I own. The other is a. custom traditional ""Cattlemen's" style. Both of these hat's have personalization in them as far as interior silk lining and leather banding with our names; and we were part of the entire decision process. Today we went in to talk about getting a custom "Top Hat" style for me. I.did end up getting a Top Hat right away because they happen to have one in a color I liked and it was the correct size! Now, I will wear this new hat and decide how much taller I want my custom one to be (7" tall, possibly) and what brim width and what color, perhaps steel grey??? I look for Chargers, Lakers and Padres gear but apparently in Vegas they don't keep these teams on hand since they don't sell... The store is always clean and the staff always friendly but I can't find anything for me. I'm sure I'll be back again though because I visit this mall often.

I walked in with my husband, and daughter, and a couple of seconds after being in the store, I overheard my husband say hello. I didn't hear anything else except for dead silence with no reply. I looked over and saw the employee (female black with dark glasses) on her phone, failing to acknowledge a customer that just said hi. I picked out a baseball cap, and walked over to her (by the embroidery machine) and she said, I will help you over there, and pointed to the register. Never once smiled!! My husband then told her we had a membership, and in a rude manner........ she asked, "what's the e-mail." Following the transaction, she did not say anything. Not sure what lids expectations are with verbal greetings, and/or eye contact with customers but they should have some type of training to make sure it gets done. Especially when a customer purchases a membership from them. Lids needs to teach their employee how to engage in basic workplace greetings, and customer service. I shouldn't feel like I interrupted her text messaging.
