I decided to stop in this time just to do it and it was a pretty good trip. The entrance is small but gets the job done. It's a bit awkward because the left side is the entrance and the right is the exit but it's marked pretty well. The inside was fairly organized and clean looking. I've seen some Walmarts that look pretty worse for wear so it was kind of refreshing to see this one not bad with items everywhere, a sensory nightmare. I had to get some stuff in the pharmacy section, where everything is locked up now and it took less than 2 min for someone to show up to unlock the doors. Easy peasy. There were a shocking amount of registers with actual employees working them. I went to the self check out and it only had like 4 registers. I don't know if it's because they have never changed it or if things are swinging back to manned registers. Let's hope it's the latter. There was an employee working here too and she was friendly and kept the line moving. All in all, I'd definitely come back to this Walmart with its nice employees, clean space and ample parking.

Do not even think about consigning your clothes here, unless you are going to give them away anyway. I tried to consign a $7,000 dress and a $3,000 purse, both obviously name-brand designers. After leaving the items there to consign, and waiting the required 90 days with no word from them, I called to see if my items had sold. Not only had they not sold, but my dress had been removed from the store, so that the owner could list it on eBay! (In the fine print of the contract, if you do not contact them when the 90 days is up, the property becomes theirs). They never asked me if my dress could be sold on eBay, and I believe she took my dress so that she could sell it on eBay and keep all of the money for herself! I called them on the 92nd day and she had already taken my very expensive dress out of the store. Her employee told me it was in her car!!!! It took me a total of 9 phone calls and 3 weeks to get my dress and purse back. I talked to 3 different employees and the owner, and no one there has any customer service whatsoever. The owner refused to return my phone calls and the employees couldn't have cared less. It was a HORRIBLE experience and I will never deal with them again. read more

The owner keeps saying I may have a vendetta against her store? Why would I make something like this up if I've never met her or been in her store before this incident. "Battle Born!" Are…read moreyou "Battle Born," Nevada. This is our state motto, it's a statement that conjures up strength, courage and resilience. Nevada became a territory just before the Civil War in 1861. We became the 36th state on October 31, 1864. In fact, Nevada became a state to ensure the re-election of President Lincoln to add to the three electoral votes. Many believe that Nevada is just known for "sin" with all the lights and glam of the strip but there's more to our little city than meets the eyes. After the gold rush in California, Nevada was considered part of the Utah Territory, then the Nevada Territory. Our state was named for the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Nevada translates to "snowy" in Spanish. It's due in part to the snowy capped Sierras surroundings our battle born state. From the beginning Nevada seems as a harsh desert. Why would anyone want to exist and live here? Actually the cultural aspects of the state are rich and diverse. Many Native Americans call Nevada their home: Paiute, Washoe, and Shoshone. The Mormons settled here. When gold and silver were discovered many boom towns emerged all over Nevada. Later gambling was introduced and boomed during the depression keeping the economy growing. Many immigrants flocked here to mine and work on the Hoover Dam. All the diverse communities made a melting pot for individuals that call Nevada their home. This store began in Reno, where they sell "all things produced and made in Nevada." The pride that comes with being "Battle Born," and from the "Silver State," runs deep with locals and tourists. Take a piece of history made from an incredible individual from Nevada today. They sell unique items that are incredibly creative. Show your "Battle Born," support for Nevada in your own unique way and style.

This store is absolutely charming…read more Fashion forward, cool ambiance, so welcoming, many retail, vintage and gift options throughout the space. Having called Las Vegas my home for 20 years, I have always supported the many faces of the growth of downtown Las Vegas, regardless what it looked like. The Arts Factory was once the only thing running down there (remember all the lingering outside in the parking lot with adult beverages at a gallery event? and that was it)...then over many years add Fremont Street and the influence/money of Tony Hsieh and the countless other good Las Vegans encouraging that growth and on and on and on.... And then we now have Main Street, south of Charleston Blvd, north of Wyoming Ave and that surrounding area. Have you been down there? It's awesome! If you have not been down there as of late, do yourself a favor and go. Easy parking, fun food and drink and boutique retail shops like "For the Love, LV." Tourist or local, a great place to wander and enjoy the smaller feel of Las Vegas yet with a big punch. Did I mention For the Love, LV.... Super cute, open floor plan that stretches all the way to the back of the retail space, light/bright feel. Not to mention the owner Emily, with her perky character, easy manner and southern charm, and grateful that I am there. I have stopped at For the Love, LV on occasion when I am in the area and it is now one of those places along with Local Oasis up the way that I am always going to stop in to when I am in the area. Because you never know what gem you might find! This last visit, I walked away with a super comfy and cute Bailey Rose sweatshirt. Jewelry, clothing on trend, ball caps, sun glasses, cards, candles. In the back, Emily works with another retailer in selling very well curated vintage clothing. Also, the store works with artists in featuring their works (take note of the cool stuff on the walls mid store). It really is a great space.
