A decent place to stay if you're visiting near the Chandler area. I stayed here last year and…read morerealized I never wrote a review.. shame on me!! Well, the convenience of having the freeway right outside is definitely a plus if you're a busy body like me. Also, there's a casino AND the Aji Spa nearby!! The rooms here are very nicely updated and they serve the GOOD kind of brekkie in the morning, not that cold, brown bag crap. I usually try to stay at hotels where they serve the pancakes, waffles, sausage and bacon among other things. The parking lot can get pretty full in the evenings, so if you don't have anywhere to go, secure your spot and stay put! I didn't eat in the dining room, but when I went to get breakfast, it was very nice and clean. A lot of families were in there, so I chose to eat in my room. They also have a gym here, so get a workout in if you can. I would recommend this La Quinta hotel if you're looking for a place to stay that isn't ghetto, won't break the bank and is in the middle of everything.

We were at Macayo's having dinner!! I should also mention, NEITHER OF US SMOKE!!!! The General Manager of the hotel, Dorlan Collie, even mentioned to us that a few nights prior the same room had guests complain they were also charged and not in the room. So either they have staff entering the room and smoking or they have faulty Smoke sensors!! Either way I will NEVER set foot in La Quinta again!!!

Clean hotel with tasty breakfast items…read more The location wasn't close to any attractions but it was nearby restaurants, fast food chains, and a grocery store. There was also a small shop at the entrance selling snacks and chargers. Check-in was a bit slow as they had difficulty finding my reservation. However, the receptionists were always kind and helpful. The 2 queen bed room was spacious and included a microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, hangers, and an iron. The bathroom had communal soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There was a note on the sink stating that other toiletries were also available upon request. I wished there was more toilet paper was included as there was only one extra roll. There was a sufficient number of towels for the sink and shower. However, I found the shower to be difficult to start as the shower pin was stuck. The shower knob was also labeled backwards as the "H" was on the side of cold water instead of hot. The bed and pillows were soft and supported. The bedsheets were clean but could have been thicker. I enjoyed the easy access to outlets and lighting from the convenience of my bed. The TV was large and there was a decent number of channels available. Breakfast was simple yet executed well. The omelets were light and fluffy. Potatoes weren't always served but it was a good day when they were. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. Sausages were juicy and bacon was crispy. There was also fruit juices and coffee available. Other items included cinnamon rolls, cereal, oatmeal, and made to order pancakes. I would have loved healthier items like fresh fruit but the spread was more than sufficient for me. Although others enjoy actual dishware, the disposable plates and utensils made it easy to eat on the go. Would stay here again when visiting Mesa or Gilbert. Clean and priced appropriately and still one of my favorite breakfast options.

Some make this complaint because they can hear muffled talking next door at other hotels. Here, it may as well be no wall at all. Without hyperbole, this is the worst I've ever experienced. I could hear my neighbors talking as clear as day - as though they were in the room with me. It immediately felt like I had no privacy. That's enough on its own to never come back here again. Besides this, the room smelled heavily of cleaning products when I came in, the paint was peeling in the bathroom I stayed in and the shower head and faucet were loose. Also - I think my laptop has a bigger screen than the room TV. But it all worked fine. The room itself was clean, the staff was nice enough and they did have a pool and jacuzzi on site. If the room were more soundproof I'd happily give it a 3 or maybe even 4 out of 5 star rating as a business hotel or a place for travel where you need a clean comfy bed to sleep in (my bed was actually quite comfortable as well). But the paper thin walls are a deal breaker. That Priceline categorized this spot as a 4 star hotel next to Hilton, Hyatt, or Westin is baffling.

He said I should notify the hotel for future guests. I called and confirmed we did not need a code for the medical discount. (We needed the code at a diff hotel in Scottsdale.) When we checked in, I verified we were there for medical reasons and asked what the rate was. He said we would get it at checkout. I have never stayed in a hotel that would not tell me the rate upfront. He ran my CC, but said it would not be charged until we checked out. (I did not prepay) Upon check out, the GM, Tammy would not honor the medical discount. She said because I made the reservation via Expedia, she could not give me the discount (even though I called ahead, and was told when we checked in that we would be on a medical discount rate). Luckily it was only a 3-night stay - but I was mad enough with just those days being at a higher rate. House keeping did not clean our room on the scheduled day. Although we will need to return in 6 months, location is perfect - close to medical facility and restaurants... We will never return to this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean, a little dated, but comfortable. The staff was friendly enough. I had to check out of my room but still had time before my flight and needed to take some meetings. The downstairs lobby area has plenty of seating and even little nooks where you can sit and work and not be disturbed. I never go down for the breakfast, but they had some decent options in their market if you are arriving late and need a little snacky snack. If you're looking for an easy and convenient space to stay, I recommend. I mean I think most people know what they are getting with a Residence Inn, but just in case the nice thing is you do get a small kitchen and there is usually some living space separate from the bed. I really felt like I had a ton of room to spread out.

I booked through Booking.com with a "pay at the property" option. However, one night was charged to my account prior to arrival, which was unexpected and confusing. At check-in, there were issues with my payment method. The front desk told me they "only accept real bank cards" in reference to my SoFi card. This was surprising and came across as dismissive, especially since it is a legitimate bank card and had already been successfully charged prior to arrival. After asking me to wait, I was then told the card had declined, which did not appear to be the case. We offered an alternative card, but were told that was not an option. The situation felt inconsistent and could have been handled with clearer communication and more flexibility. Additionally, on the morning of checkout (11:00 AM), we stepped out briefly and returned at 8:45 AM to find that our room keys had already been deactivated. When we asked about it, we were told it was because we were checking out that day, even though it was still well before checkout time. This created unnecessary inconvenience. Overall, the main issue was not just the policies, but how they were communicated. A more professional and guest-focused approach would have made a significant difference. We hope the hotel can review these processes, as the property itself has potential. With improvements in service and communication, the experience could better reflect what we experienced during our first stay.
